Recensito da un utente di Hotels.com in data 26 ago 2011Ho soggiornato con mio marito nel mese d'agosto ,Hotel molto carino camera pulitissima, l'unica cosa da sottolineare è che la prenotazione fatta con Hotel.com diceva colazione gratuita,mentre l'hotel ci ha dato la colazione fino a 7 dollari canadesi il restante conto và pagato, non è molta la differenza da dare,ma chi soggiorna in questo hotel deve sapere.

La prima colazione è stata infuffficiente sia per qualità che per quantità e il locale colazioni molto piccolo e non adeguato al numero degli ospiti.

We enjoyed the pool and water slides. The kids play area is excellent and very well maintained and clean. The room was well laid out for a small family. One of the beds was not very comfortable (very saggy) but overall the lodges were in good condition. They have a connection box to the HD tv which allows easy hook up to a variety of inputs. Amazing scenery. Wood carvings on-site were too cool. Staff very friendly and helpful. Regular hotel pool a separate facility from water slide park ... not idea. We stayed here 3 nights and really enjoyed it and the town. We were about 2 miles out of town, which was great for the quiet. They had no rooms available as booked (one bedroom with loft condo) but quickly offered us accomodation in the main block - a jacuzzi suite with great views and another bedroom. We stayed in a very nice housekeeping unit. The room was beautifully decorated and coordinated. Even the flatware matched, and the utensils were quality. Nothing in Banff is cheap, but this place represents good value for the area. "Family retreat"
Great for families with children. The room was fine. 1 Queen bed and a murphy bed in the family room. You can find cheaper rooms elsewhere but the water slides were a huge hit for the kids. We didn't take advantage of it but the room is setup for self catering which could save you quite a bit of money if food is brought in. "One week good stay"
I am happy with my choice to stay at Douglas Fir after checking all the reviews. It's a family friendly hotel and we had a good time there. We prepared our own breakfast everyday and built a fire on the last night of stay. Overall, very good experience and will come back.Recensioni obiettive Hotels.com

Facilities were fabulous. I had an outstanding view of Mt. Rundle. However, I could not count on maid service at any particular time of day, and once service left my door open.
