"The Suites Are Sweet - Together, But Seperate!!"
Really liked that there were two bedrooms with full baths but were still seperated by the kitchen and living room area. It allowed us as family to be together but yet still allowed privacy and relaxation as couples. The only thing I disliked were that the bathroom plug-in didn't work for curling iron or blow dryer and two of the lamps didn't have plug-ins […] in one of the bedrooms. Continua a leggere

"Great Get away Place"

I enjoyed my stay. The hotel is a very old building but has been updated and is nicely decorated. The room was nice with flat screen TV, nice furniture, bed was comfy. However, this is an older hotel so the room was a little small, but I am used to that from staying in other older hotels in historic cities like New Orleans, Miami Beach, etc. The location […] is walking distance (in the daytime) from the hot spots of downtown LR including the rivermarket which would be about a 15-20 min walk. I would not walk at night though. My only complaint is the plumbing in the shower. I had set the shower to the right temp, got in, and it spontaneously went from hot to freezing, back to warm, to cold, without touching any knobs. Continua a leggere
I was disappointed this stay because housekeeping didn't come the next day to bring towels. Also, I don't think this hotel has a truly non-smoking room. Or maybe the vents carry the smoke smell. I don't know. All I know is that every now and then it smells like someone just smoked a cigarette in the room.

I was not pleased with my visit. There was no one to greet me when I came to check in. It took a good 10-15 min to be waited on. I then went to my room, the room was nice but I notices that the toliet was running. I tried to flush it and it wouldn't work. I called the front desk, they said they would come fix it and they didn't. I had to keep going […] downstairs to go to the bathroom. I tried to get a drink at the vending. The vending didn't work and there was no ice machine like it stated. I went to the next floor for vending. There was no drink machine. There was ice but it was leaking all over the floor. Very cozy place, old , but very clean. Lots of character , very convenient to river front action. I'll stay here again!
Location is very convenient. A very old, very well kept hotel. They could use some new pillows though. I'll go back...I'll just bring my own pillow.

"Pictures are misleading."
I was surprised at how run down this place was and that it had received a decent rating. It was comparable in price to other nicer hotels I have stayed in, so this was very frustrating. I will not go back and I would not recommend to anyone who has never been there before.

It is an interesting hotel. I enjoyed my stay very much. The value for the price and downtown location was great!
Close to riverfront activities/ bars and resturants. IHOP a short drive away. Will take the family again.
"Think Twice"
The room was dirty and hadn't been cleaned except for making of the beds, There was garbage left in the wastebasket, gummie bears left on the A/C unit. The beds were uncomfortable and the pillows smelled. The shower had mold in it. Every time when I tried to reach the front desk to complain, I was disconnected. I booked it off line and the room was […] nothing like the picture. I booked it because I was flying out the next morning from the airport but that was the only conveinence it offered. "Okay For A Quick Night"
This is a classic old hotel that they have tried to update, but still lacks the modern comforts. We had to walk outside to get from the front desk to the elevator for our room and most of the fixtures, etc. are old and not in an antique way. The breakfast is equivalent to one at a MUCH cheaper hotel. "Legacy, not recommended"
Good location to UAMC but not comfortable at all. Room was really small, it was hot and air blowed curtains out if you turned it on. Was on third floor and couldn't find elevator in dark. The breakfast room was in another building, had to go to front desk to find it cuz no one informed me where it was. The bed was a nightmare, like sleeping on springs, […] and the sheets was thin and yellowish looking. Parking was horrible, had to walk a good distance and carry bags up 3 flights of stairs. Overall the hotel was nice, clean and convenient. The price was outstanding. I wish they had this in every city.
The hotel is old and historic, but has been updated and was an excellent value. The hotel will be 100 years old in 2013. The room was very clean and comfortable. I would stay there again. The front desk clerks were very friendly and helpful.

"Legacy Hotel Nice hotel, great value."
We have to visit Little Rock often for medical reasons. Therefore, we need a nice place to stay at reasonable rates. The Legacy exceeded our expectations. It was clean, the staff was very helpful and friendly, the area of town was clean and felt safe. For what we received, we felt the rate for our room was very good. We will stay there again.

We very much enjoyed our stay there. It was a rather small room and the beds were smaller than normal but we were very lucky to have a room with a balcony and we thoroughly enjoyed getting to sit out there in the evening and once again in the morning with our coffee. It looked out over a nice patio and we could here the birds singing and it was very […] relaxing. We didn't find the breakfast to be to our liking since they just had a few sweet rolls and white bread for toast but that was OK. We enjoyed the rest. Poor Service from the moment of check in. As I approached the check in counter, the lady behind the desk was talking to another employee across the counter and I had to wait for them to stop talking before she took notice of me. "Great Place"
Easy drive off hi-ways, calm area, beautiful building & rooms, very helpful & friendly staff. Ck out the Filabuster Bistro for cocktails & meals..M-F. I will stay there again & have already told many relatives & friends that pass thru.

This would be a better hotel if they would make up their mind as to what they want to be. Lower $$$ rate downtown hotel or an upper scale historic hotel. I'd prefer the altter.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, room was clean... We were nicely surprised to find that we had a suite instead of a regular room. From what I saw, you should request the main building.
The Legacy Hotel could not be any better! I went to a concert at the Verizon Center and this was a good location. The room is worth every penny!.Vert spacious and with a fridge. Excellent Hotel
