Ottimo Inglese, ottima colazione a buffet.

"A really good place"
Great position (10 minutes of a nice walk from Shinjuku station), very very clean, no noise, room little but like always in japan
"BEDBUGS!!"
I stayed at this hotel while visiting Japan on vacation with 4 people. 3 out of the 4 of us came back with bedbug bites all over us, and I later found one in my bed where my suitcase was sitting. I would avoid this hotel at all costs due to the bedbugs! The location was great and the maid did a great job. Now that I'm back to the states I have turned […] my house upside down cleaning and trying to get rid of any bedbugs that may have come back with me. This process has ruined the memories I made in Japan, because now all I think about are BedBugs! Continua a leggere
"Small and quiet hotel in Shinjuku"
The hotel is just a couple of minutes away from the busy Shinjuku area. Rooms are well isolated (sound and heat). Rooms have sufficient comfort, ideal for a single traveller.
"Hotel Rose Garden Shinjuku"
We were very happy with all aspects of our 3-night stay at Hotel Rose Garden Shinjuku. Rooms were spacious (for Tokyo), clean, well appointed and the hotel location was great; 8-10mins to Shinjuku Stn, which is a major hub for both JR and Metro and Shinjuku itself, mainly Eastside, is a great place for a wander at night. After staying there we thought […] some of the online reviews that we read before booking were a bit harsh. Very happy to recommend it. Continua a leggere
"Great location"
I stayed in the quad room which was spacious by Japanese standards, with a great bath. Very satisfied with my stay.
"Nice hotel near Nishi-Shinjuku subway station"
We visited in January 2012. OK location although the hotel is on the business side of Shinjuku. The staff was very nice and helpful, and a couple of people spoke good English. We (2 males) got an extra bed to our room without extra request/charge. There are two small stores (7/11 and Family Mart) really near, maybe 2 minute walk away. There's a big […] restaurant complex across the street, and a McDonald's very near by. You walk to the Nishi-Shinjuku subway station in 1 minute, and to the huge Shinjuku station in maybe 10-15 minutes. There's a very good buffet-style breakfast at the hotel (1500 yen), with both western and oriental style food. The hotel restaurant is Italian. Although recommended for its wild nightlife, we did not find large nightclubs from Shinjuku area. What we came in touch with were sex clubs and izakayas (literally maybe hundreds of them :D). If (like we) you are looking for a wild and international nightlife, we recommend the Roppongi area. Continua a leggere
"Hotel Rose Garden Shinjuku"
Close enough to Shinjuku station, however, was a bit difficult to find at first. Reasonably priced and friendly staff. Having a family of 4 in one room was definitely a squeeze with little room left for luggage.
"Hotel Rose Garden, well connected but not perfect."
Hotel Rose Garden is clean, and excellent for getting around Tokyo. It is very close to the metro rail (station across the street) and 10 minutes walk to Shinjuku main rail station. However the rooms are very small (no room to unpack a suitcase and no storage space), and the staff spoke little to no English and were not very helpful about finding restaurants […] etc in the neighborhood. "Comfortable stay & convenient location for family"
We have a pleasant 6 night stay in a Quad room at Tokyo Rose Garden Hotel for 2 adult and 2 children in Dec 2011. The hotel staff are nice, considerate and helpful throughout our stay. As we reach the hotel at around 8am, we are able to keep our luggage with the hotel staff before the 1pm check-in. On the last day, no issues to hold the luggage with […] the hotel until 10pm after check-out at around 10am where we could take our time for another full days of sight seeing. There is a main shinjuku rail station is about 10 minutes walk from the hotel while there is another sub-line station just 1-2min walk from the hotel. A very convenient location and the room are clean and comfortable although it is a bit compact with 4 bed in a 31 Sqm room. Everything is working well and we really enjoy our stay in the hotel with the nice, friendly and considerate hotel staffs. Continua a leggere
"Hotel Rose Garden"
The hotel is located only 2 min away from Nishi-Shinjuku subway station. There is a elevator exit opposite the road which is great for travellers with big trolley bags. It is not near main Shinjuku station. More than 15 min walk away. Rooms and corridors smell heavily of cirgarette smoke. Even after spraying air refresher (provided by hotel), the room […] still smells. Not advisable for people who are sensitive. Inspite of this, this hotel is a great price and good location! "Great Location, Sufficient rooms"
This place is great. the rooms are clean, but minimalist. the location is fantastic--5 minute walk from the Shinjuku station and 10 minute walk from the Tokyo Government Building. The hotel itself is simple but adequate. don't go here if you are looking for luxury, but if you need a place to […] stay in the heart of Tokyo for a reasonable price, this is the place. "We will stay here again!"
Small little hotel with everything you need. The room isn't big but it was okay considering it was really neat and clean. I had a pleasant stay here. Very near the metro nishi-shinjuku line. just 2min walk!
"Great Value and Location"
Very good bargain for the location. this is a clean and comfortable boutique hotel with a great location. Rooms are small but very clean. Other hotels in the vicinity go for 3-5x the price. You get the feel that you are staying in an apartment in a neighborhood rather than in a mega hotel chain plopped down in the middle of a business district. You […] are 10 minutes walk from Shinjuku and Shinjuku station. Neighborhood restaurants within 1 block and a charming fruit stand next door. Continua a leggere
"Fantastic little hotel in a great location"
My bandmate and I recently stayed at Hotel Rose Garden while in Tokyo for a week. We found the hotel staff to be extremely helpful and nice to us and the room to be clean and comfortable (if a bit small compared to US standards but not the rest of the world). The location is great, only a block from the Subway and a 15 minute walk to the huge Shinjuku […] station. Also very close to some really cool parts of Shinjuku including Golden Gai. Would totally recommend to other travelers. Continua a leggere

"A great deal"
I highly recommend this hotel. The staff was unfailingly helpful (one desk clerk spent about 15 minutes instructing me on how to buy a baseball ticket), the rooms are immaculately clean, and there are small comforts like robes, slippers, green tea. The AC and free internet work well. And as others have noted, the location is very convenient -- just […] a few steps from a subway line, or a 10-minute walk from the mammoth Shinjuku station which has a bunch of train & subway lines. Yes, the rooms are small, but that's Tokyo for you. I'll stay here again. Continua a leggere
"Inexpensive gem in the Heart of Shinjuku"
Easy location. One train stop from Shinjuku station. Get off at Nishi-Shinjuku. When you exit the turnstile go LEFT,(right takes you across the street). Go upstairs turn left go 40 meters and your at the front door. Staff speaks English and they do it well. Hotel has all the amenities. Flat screen tv, hair dryer, Fridge. Everything is there. Hotel is […] comfortable, Beds are typically small but I am nearly 6 foot and 220 lbs and both my wife and I fit in it just fine. It is a smidgeon smaller than a typical double bed. If you are both big boned then you'll need to look for a king. The Hotel has a great location. Staff were wonderfully helpful with messages, they knew who I was when I walked through the door after the 2nd day, (stayed 4). Had questions about getting around and seeing sights, trying resturants (there is an Italian resturant on the 2nd floor but did not go to japan to eat Italian). They were wonderful. The Govt building is a 10 minute walk away, you can go up the observation deck for free. Worth doing great view. was a bit hazy when we went but still worth the trouble. You can go at night as well to see the lights. Odakyu Dept store has a food court in the basement. You can buy all sorts of delicious items there. Shinjuku is a great base for sightseeing because Shinjuku is a main station and you can get anywhere from it. Took tours to Nikko, Kamakura and were able to start from Shinjuku. Hotel staff gave great information when my guide books let me down. Next time I go to Tokyo, Rose Garden is where I am staying. For Tokyo the price is reasonable, the hotel is wll located, resturants are close by, Train station steps away. If you can't pay the price of a 5 star establishment. I would stay here. "good location for Shinjuku"
Found the location to be very convenient especially for exploring the Western suburbs which all connect to Shinjuku by rail
The hotel was in a great location close to nishi-shinjuku metro station. But coming from Narita airport and getting off the the JR Shinjuku station we got lost trying to find the right train track and so we tried to walk to the hotel which took a lot of wrong turns. Hotel is very close to the centre of Shinjuku. Maccas, Yoshinoya, 7 Evelen and Family […] Mart all directly downstairs from the hotel. Room is tiny though but clean which is the main thing. No wifi availiable at the hotel. Hotel staff not exactly helpful. Continua a leggere

"Hotel Rose Garden - Shinjuku, Tokyo"
after all the positive reviews i read, i was kinda disappointed. First - the location. Not as central as i thought. it was a 10 or 15-min walk to the nearest subway. We were there with a toddler and a stroller, so that was inconvenient for us. 2 -- the rooms are beyond small. But this being tokyo, i'll let that pass. 3. Service - the service staff […] were kinda robotic. To be fair, they did answer the questions i asked - like directions to get to somewhere or time of airport bus. But it was a very robotic response. I also didn't like that they told off my son when he was playing alone in the lobby, while we were waiting for our airport bus after checkout. I thought that was rude and a total change of attitude once we checked out. 4. The service ends right after we checked out. We had a lot of baggage and were also struggling to communicate with a japanese-speaking cab driver. We asked for help to talk to the cab driver - the hotel staff did help, but ran right back after - no help with our luggage at all. I thought they may be rushing off to help another guest inside -- then realised this was about 11pm and the hotel lobby was empty. Continua a leggere

"Convenience"
The Rose Garden was a great hotel. Though it was not in a tourist type area, it was quite convenient to a subway line and only a short walk to a major train line. The area seemed very safe and clean. Nearby was a McDonalds and 7-11. Both great for small needs or the occasional snack. The room, though small to American standards, was large enough for […] me and my wife and our luggage. The western style bathroom had a great deep tub and cliche electric toilet. I wish I could take home both with me, but I couldn't fit them in my luggage. The staff was friendly and helpful. It would have been better if they knew a little bit more English, but then again, I could have known a little bit more Japanese. The language barrier gap was easy enough to overcome. My wife and I really enjoyed the Rose Garden and would love to stay there again the next time we are in Japan. The rates were great for what we got, right down to the newly pressed and cleaned robes every day! The hotel was great. Also it wasn't in a tourist or nightlife section of town, so getting to sleep and not being disturbed was perfect. I would suggest this hotel to anyone visiting Japan. Sugoi deshita. "Good choice for Tokyo"
This is a relatively new (built in 1997) hotel in downtown Shinjuku, a few steps from the Nishi-Shinjuku stop on the Marunouchi subway line (1 stop from Shinjuku station). It is very clean and well maintained. The people at the front desk speak English and everyone is very courteous. My single room was small but perfectly adequate, and everything worked […] fine, including the broadband internet connection (not wireless). What you see in the photo is what you get. As for location need to walk about 10 mins to Shinjuku Station.
Close at Nishi-shinjuku station. But it was little bit far from Shinjuku station. It takes 10~15 mins. A lot of conveinent stores and fast food stores are near. The front clerk working at night was really kind to me. We asked something they gave information about our trip too.
"Walking distance to Shinjuku stn"
Location is perfect and convenience, close to Shinjuku stn, 24hr stores, restaurants and shopping malls. Room is rather small but well-kept and clean
"you can overlook the little inconveniences."
we got a good price from Hotel.com's online discount, and the location was great. I'm not sure if its just this hotel, or all hotels in tokyo which have ultra small rooms, the bed was like a super single(for 2 pax), and baggages cannot be left open as there's simply not enough space to walk around. Receptionists' did not have a good understanding […] of english, thus it was difficult to ask for directions and airport transfers. We had to seek help fr a nearby hotel's recept. they were also not familiar with Mt fuji tours or Disney info. However, we note that the recept we spoke to were relatively young, thus it may not be fair to judge them as they may be new. hotel was clean & cosy. we loved the location, it was barely 100m to Nishi Shinjuku, and you can easily walk to Shinjuku main station in the lovely weather. however we had a slight issue, the majority tenant had requested for the heater to be switched on for our level, thus we had to put up with hot air coming fr the aircon vent. eventually, we slept with the windows open (weather was abt 15-18 degrees). but as hotel is along the main road, the traffic can wake us or even pedestrains who spoke loudly can disturb your sleep. there was a 24hr convenience store abt 10m away, and a 24 hr Yoshinoya which served express meals next door. Overall, we felt it was god value for money, and the little events we had is negligible. Continua a leggere
"Rose garden Shinjuku-Decent hotel for the money"
Standard Japanese business hotel- tiny but clean room, nice bathroom with all the standard Japanese features. Breakfast was decent- omlette made to order in addition to the standard Japanese breakfast buffet. They give you a discount if you pay the […] night before. The hotel is nothing to write home about, but it is definitely decent accommodation- especially if you are staying just a few nights. Continua a leggere

Our main issue was that we had asked for a non-smoking room but there were clearly people that had smoked in the room recently as it had a really strong smell. "There are better hotels"
Unless you can get a very, very good price for this hotel I would avoid this hotel. There are newer and more comfortable hotels in Tokyo. However, If you are very keen at staying near Kabuki-cho than this is your place. Otherwise go elsewhere. Avoid if possible.
"Best Business Hotel for Frequent Visitor"
This hotel has everything I need during my recent visit in Tokyo. The hotel is located right next to the subway Marunouchi Line (Nishi Shinjuku Station). There's one stairway entrance to the subway at the right side of the hotel (only few steps away), and another entrance is just across the street from the hotel which has elevator-- it was the first […] reason why I picked the hotel, knowing that I would arrive at the hotel with two heavy luggage. The hotel is also close to JR Shinjuku Station (approximately 15~20 mins walk.) The staffs are friendly and helpful as long as they can understand what your needs are. They may not understand English well but they often would try to be polite, professional and friendly to their customers. Knowing that's how Japanese are in general, I tried to communication with the hotel staffs with my poor Japanese. And it worked great for me! The room could be small for those who are accustomed to the big American-size hotel rooms, but for those, like me, who used to live in a 6-tatami-size apartment in Tokyo would consider the hotel room to be the perfect size. The Standard Single room, which I stayed for 4 nights, was nice and clean and had everything I needed. I especially liked the tall bathtub. After a long day of considerable amount of walking in the Tokyo neighborhood during the hot summer weather, all I wanted to do was to go back to my hotel room, soak myself in this tall bathtub, filled with warm water and the relaxing mineral bath product that the hotel provided. After 20 mins in the bathtub then step out into this nice cooled AC room and fall asleep on the bed and call it a night. The room has TV ( has CNN) and free wifi. I also brought my own AirPort Express for my Macbook so that I could get online anywhere in my room without worry about the internet security issue. In addition to that I also brought my own ethernet cable so I didn't need to pay 1500 yen deposit fee to use one from the hotel. There's a small refrigerator in the Continua a leggere
Staff was friendly enough and offered a disccount on breakfast if we paid for it the night before. We did this and had a pleasent meal in their dining room. We did try the beer garden next door and rec'd a 10% discount on our bill, but the prices were pretty high. Almost ~$10 for a few small pieces of cheese. "Hotel Rose Garden Shinjuku"
We stayed here one night after spending 3 nights at the Citadines at Shinjuku. It is very central to Shinjuku station and an easy walk. The area is more a business area than the Citadines. The staff were business like and not as friendly as the staff at the Citadines. We would stay again but would always try the Citadines first.
"Bring a pillow"
Small rooms, however that is to be expected in Tokyo at this price point. Good value and comfortable. Bring your own pillows. Only a couple of doors down from a small subway station that has elevators! Not all the subway and train stations have an elevator.
"Hotel Rose Garden Shinjuku close to main station"
This hotel was chosen on account of its proximity to the railways station. It was difficult to find initially even with a local and his hand held computer, but extremely easy thereafter. The rooms were tiny but they squeesed everything into it which you would need. Although there was internet access this was only if you had a lap top and we dont travel […] with a lap top - so no internet. No breakfast but many choices nearby. Windows opened so small room wasnt as claustophobic as it could have been. The real gem was one of the staff - sorry didnt take her name but she was so helpful and printed off any information I asked her for. Much confusion around bed size but my husband and I found the semi bed adequate (probably the equivalent to a double bed) and slept well. Would certainly recommend this hotel. The only negative was not having wi-fi or a computer in the lobby apart from that cant fault it at all for the good rate which we paid. Continua a leggere
"Rose Garden Shinjuku"
This hotel is smaller than expected, Room we stay in was awfully small. It was smaller than a cruise ship inside cabinet. However, it has a good side double bed and English CNN. The TV was a 32 inches flat screen. Noisy room due to poor insulation. Don’t expect too much of other services.
"Hotel Rose Garden - quiet side of Shinjuku"
This is an ok hotel. My only real annoyance was that it advertises air conditioning, yet this seems to just mean heating which can be either on or off. As the hotel is next to a busy road we were unable to open the windows due to the noise. Pity. The room was compact, but clean. The staff were ok but overall the staff and the hotel were not as nice […] as the other places we stayed in Tokyo and elsewhere in Japan. The location is ok too; you are not in the thick of it, but the station is a short walk away, as are the metropolitan towers (amazing views). Continua a leggere
