il mio soggiorno nell'hotel airport inn e stato buono, siamo stati prelevati dall'aeroporto che e molto vicino all'hotel e poi riportati alla fine del soggiorno. e in periferia di salt lake city ma come esci dal'albergo c'e la fermata del bus 550 che ti porta in centro e in stazione. ho avuto difficoltà con la lingua perche nessuno oarlava italiano ma mi e stato utile per imparare almeno qualche parola..... hotel molto pulito e utilizzo della piscina che trovi nella holl sottostante. camera grande con letti a due piazze comodi, tutto sommato accettabile se uno non e un tipo sofisticato quindi lo consiglio sia per la qualità che per il prezzo.

On the way to the international airport, we stayed just one night. The position is excellent: very close to Temple Square and to the airport. The room was clean and the hotel silent. Ideal ratio between quality and price!

Arrivare alla struttura se si proviene dalla I-25 è molto semplice, solo pochi isolati dallo svincolo. Su nostra specificarichiesta abbiamo ottenuto una stanza al piano terreno, la 111, molto ben isolata acusticamente e degnamente arredata. Cinque isolati, più o meno una decina di minuti a piedi, e si arriva a Temple Square. Ci sono anche hotel più vicini ma il rapporto qualità/prezzo fa del Metropolitan Inn una scelta azzeccata. Peccato che la colazione venga offerta nella hall, che non eccelle per ampiezza (solo tre tavolini con sgabelli alti) e che non sia il massimo in fatto di scelta. Se arrivate di sabato, non perdetevi il concerto (gratuito) della domenicamattina alle 9.30 al Presbiterio Mormone di Temple Square. Circa 200 coristi e 70 musicisti, oltre ad un'acustica ed effetti-luce straordinari, vi doneranno brividi raramente eguagliabili.

"geat hotel for Ski trip"
stayed here for 3 nights in late March 2012. Just my brother and I, in our early 30s, out for some skiing at Alta and Snowbird. Our room was in great condition. Staff very friendly. Continental breakfast was just fine, nothing fancy. Best part is that hotel is across the street from the UTA Ski Bus stop - the first stop - so you can get a seat and take […] a nap on the 40min ride up to the slopes. Get a Salt Lake Super pass before you arrive( lift tick +bus pass combo) Great micro brew restaurant a 10min walk from hotel- called the Bohemian Brewery. Hip place. Good food and beers. "good enough"
We wanted an inexpensive hotel as we knew we wouldn't spend much time in the hotel other than sleeping. The hotel was quiet, comfortable beds and the breakfast was excellent. The internet connection was very slow.

The hotel is clean and reasonably priced. The service was impeccable. The staff were all friendly and courteous and went out of their way to be accommodating to a traveling family. Definitely recommend.

The Magnuson Hotel in Midvale is a GREAT location for skiers. The hotel is clean and has a hot tub. It was out of order on the 2nd day of our stay, but fixed by the 3rd which tells me they maintain it well. The free breakfast is your basic free hotel breakfast but a nice extra. "Old and poorly maintained"
The hotel is old, with wallpaper on the walls and worn stained carpet. The toilet did not work, it seriously would not flush! The shower went hot and cold repeatedly, and the room location was next to the train lines, causing a constant rumbling like a plane landing next to the room. It was almost like a bad comedy movie. "Magnuson Hotel Sale Lake - last resort only"
This hotel had wallpaper falling off the walls, dirty hallways, old mattresses, a shower that went hot and cold and a breakfast that wasn't worth eating. We would not stay there again and only recommend staying there as a last resort.

I like how the hotel was near the freeway but not close enough to hear the freeway. It was also close to the TRAX which is a train that goes north and south of the valley.
Only complaint - the bathroom fan was very loud! Is it not possible to have the fan and bathroom light on serparate switches?

This hotel has bedbugs. I rented a King suite with a jacuzzi. The jacuzzi jets did not work. I woke up with bites all over the right side of my body. I know they were bedbug bites because my boyfriend had an infestation about a year ago from a used couch he bought at the Goodwill. "Convenient, comfortable, and clean"
The price was right, had a great breakfast, and location. The bed was comfortable, we got a great night's sleep. Would stay again.

For a long weekend or a inexpensive ski trip to Utah - this would be hard to beat. One of the better breakfast's I've had in a Motel as well! We were located towards the center of the building away from the trolley tracks and it was much quieter than I thought it would be. Nice clean comfortable room for a reasonable price. There is an excellent restaurant next to the hotel for breakfast too. Staff was friendly. I would stay here again without hesitation. Hotel location is easily accessable to the freeway

This hotel was perfect for our needs. The price was very good and we feel we got a good value for our money. The hotel was right off of the freeway with easy access. The accommodations were dated, but clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy- but it was a good place to stay. The beds had nice pillows and mattresses. The breakfast was adequate- pretty much […] standard for complementary hotel breakfasts. Free wireless internet was good and parking was good. The desk clerks were very nice and helpful. The big plus for us is that it was pet friendly. We travel with our dog. I also appreciate that the pet rules are strict- can't leave dog along- must clean up after him, etc. This makes it good for everyone! We had an issue with our tv that couldn't be resolved over the weekend. They offered to change our room but we didn't want to do that. I think this was just an isolated issue. I also liked that the whole facility was smoke free. We would definitely stay at the Magnusun in Midvale again. I also had a good experience working with the Hotels.com phone operator. Before this trip, I didn't realize that I could just call and ask for help in selecting a hotel. He asked me a series of questions and suggested the perfect hotel for our needs. Continua a leggere

this hotel is right off the freeway, and close to everything we had planned. The price was low, but thought we'd take a chance, what a pleasant surprise! The staff is very friendly and knowlegable about the area. Gave us a great recommedation for dining. Great hotel for the price. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the place, and the service was good to. I will keep staying there when I am in the Salt Lake Area.
We stayed 2days and found it very nice. The owner recommended a very good restaurant and knew the surrounding area well for different stores we could visit. One thing that impressed me very much- some rooms were overed booked and the owner opened up a meeting room for people to stay in for the nite at a lesser charge rather than turning them away or […] having them sleep in their cars. don't do it!!! it's a dump. rooms smell bad, old and outdated. if you get stuck in a room in the front of the motel, your room will glow a bright orange all night

My bed was clean and comfortable. The air conditioning cooled the room off well. The laundry facility was convenient and clean. I didn't eat the breakfast, but many others were enjoying the make-your-own-waffle station. Refridgerator kept my liquids cool to pack in the cooler the next day. The best quality of the hotel was the staff - very nice and attentive. The location was good because its central but the surrounding neighborhood is suspect. "Reasonable priced hotel, 20 mins away from airport"
This hotel was very reasonably priced for being so close to the airport. It was only about 20 mins away. The rooms are a big old and a little musty smelly but they are comfortable and have all of your standard ammenities. If you are looking for luxury stay don't stay here, but if you are looking for just somewhere to stay overnight and you are not going […] to be spending a lot of time in the hotel room, I would recommend this place. "Quick stay"
This hotel was very friendly, nice desk staff, pet friendly. Room was large and comfortable and well kept. Would definitely stay here again when in the area.

So this place is in a great location. Close to TRAX (the train) and close to the freeway. There are plenty of restaurants around too. Very convenient. The room was good for the price. The only thing I could really complain about is that you can tell that people have smoked in the room, although the whole hotel is now non-smoking. The breakfast was really great in the morning, but there is also a fabulous diner next door (The Murray Mining Diner or something like that). "Magnussen in Midvale UT, 7200 South"
We chose this hotel for its competitive price as we were looking for a ST home while we were waiting for our house to be ready for our relocation in SLC. We didn't know the location when we got there; we chose the hotel based on price. The hotel is converting to the Magnussen brand after having been a Best Western Executive brand budget luxury property. […] It's apparent there has been a significant investment in the property as the public areas are spotless, the breakfast room and the spa/pool are also spotless. The hallways are very nice too. For the traveler, specifically ask for one of the refurbished rooms; the hotel is phasing in different refurbishments and there are some rooms that are still not done. we extended our stay because our house wasn't done and got to see both the old and new rooms. Here are a few observations: 1. the staff is very nice and very friendly and eager to please...2. The air conditioners seem to have been replaced or refurbished... they work well and are quiet. 3. Housekeeping is friendly and efficient. 4. We were her for a little while, and of course found ourselves watching television - the cable TV lineup of a very small number of channels is far too little. 5. The wireless connection was strong but bandwidth was poor. Result - poor connectivity even when strong signal was indicated. 6. Fair neighborhood. Some light industrial, and warehouse locations very close. Other hotels, a Denny's and some other highway type diners are close. We found a very nice Mexican grocery store across the street to fill in. 7. Once we found our way around, there were very good restaurants up and down State street. I found the hotel to be quiet and comfortable, with what looked like recent upgrades of heating and cooling, carpet, drapes, and bedding. Check in staff were friendlyu and helpful. My stay was nice. Complementary breakfast was convenient.

"made for a nice vacation"
This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. Was Executive Inn last year. Hotel has been bought by magnuson and is in the process of being upgraded. Our room had been completely redone. It was comfortable and the staff was excellent. Will stay again next year.
We love to stay at this Hotel because its clean and close to the FREEWAY enterance
Heat and air conditioner too noisey and security lock on door would not lock. We did report this to the desk when we checked out
