Abbiamo trascorso 4 belle giornate a Praga. L'albergo ha molto charme, si trova proprio sotto al castello e per chi vuole soggiornare in centro Praga ma in un luogo tranquillo rappresenta un'ottima location. La camera in cui abbiamo soggiornato era molto spaziosa e curata nei dettagli. Unico neo: la colazione. Ridotta all'osso e poco alettante. For our first time in Prague, we could not have been happier when staying at the Golden Wheel. The location is superb! The staff went above and beyond in helping us with our transportation issues. Suggestions were really great. We would stay there again without hesitation! It made us love Prague all the more!

The best thing about this hotel is that they have free wifi in every hotel room. I was able to keep in touch with my friends and manage my trip (e.g. check train and bus timetables). The location is also very convenient - about 15 mins to walk up to the Castle or walk down to Charles Bridge. There are also lots of good restaurants nearby. The metro […] and tram stations are only a short walk away. Staff are very friendly and helpful and speak perfect English. The only thing which I didn't quite like is the noise in the early morning and at night. Our room was facing the street and you could hear people walking and talking at night. Then early in the morning the garbage truck came and that could be a little annoying too. But I think the noise level was within an acceptable range and so it wasn't a big problem for me. We arrived quite late in the evening to be welcomed by Robert at the desk of the Golden Wheel. It is a lovely hotel very well appointed. Our room was delightful and we were so pleased to find a kettle to make a cup of tea. The breakfast was plentiful and catered well for all travellers. The staff were courteous and so helpful, arranging a tour for us […] and giving information with a smile. Great location that made it easy to get about and catch the public transport. The location couldn't be better--about a 10 minute walk to the castle and not much further from the Strahov monastery, Laredo, Schwartenberg and Sternberg palaces, Charles Bridge, and other sites most visitors will want to see. An excellent hotel, very comfortable with first class service in a convenient location. The street's a bit noisy but that's the only downside in an otherwise very enjoyable stay.

Just had a fantastic 3 days in Prague,staying at the Golden Wheel. The hotel is beautiful and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. They all spoke perfect english. The hotel is on Nerudova, with plenty of cafes and restaurants (but quieter than Old Town), 5 mins walk from the castle and cathedral in one direction and Charles Bridge in the other. […] Would recommend to all! This is everything you could want in a hotel. Small, friendly, clean, comfortable, efficient. Great breakfast with plenty of choice, spacious room. Location is close to all sights, such as castle, old square, Charles bridge, etc, as well as lovely restaurants. Reluctant to share all this, as it might become too popular! A hidden gem.

Entrance tricky if not in a fit state.We used lift when carry our bags otherwise enjoyed our climb to the 4th floor. Receptionist always helpful with local information suggested eating at *Three Violins" enjoyable evening, close by for 1st night. Other guests recommended we walk to near the top of same road to eat at Mali Buddha and this will be a special […] memory of our time in Prague. Enjoyed shopping at a locally stocked boutique shop Factor Tractor and loved our lunch at cafe next door. Hotel within walking distance of Prague famous bridge and sites. Continua a leggere

Walking distance to Prague Castle and lots of other important things, this renovated townhouse is great. Hot breakfast in their charming little restaurant, gorgeous bathrooms, rooftop desk, helpful service - is is all great.

The stay was comfortable. I would recommend the hotel for anybody who is staying in Prague and wants to be close to the main attractions, yet away from the noisy night life of Stare Mesto. One caution for fellow travelers: Be careful with the hot water. It is extremely hot and you can get scolded.

This hotel was wonderful - very close to the Prague Castle and just a short walk across the Charles bridge to other attractions. Very friendly staff and a good breakfast - a lovely place to come back to after a day of sightseeing!

I cannot say enough about The Golden Wheel. First, when we arrived we were greeted by a friendly staff member with impeccable English. He was incredibly helpful getting us pointed in the right direction with our sight seeing, making a restaurant selection for dinner, and helping us negotiate public transporation to get back to the train station. The room itself was spacious and very clean and the complimentary breakfast was tasty and satisfying. Lovely hotel, perfect location, great price. Walking distance to all the major attractions. Room was tastefully decorated, spacious and very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast with great service. We really loved this hotel and look forward to staying there again on our next visit.

What a great location and hotel. Adjacent to Palace grounds. Ask for a room that overlooks the Palace. Our room had a balcony. Staff is super-friendly and helpful. Martin at front desk answered many questions and helped with bags. Interesting architecture which combines a very old building with modern amenities like glass elevators. Great included breakfast. […] Wonderful massage at low rates next door. Good for sore feet and legs from long days walking. If you have trouble walking this hotel may not be for you as it is up a small hill with cobblestones and two steps up to lobby. The location of the hotel was ideal for us, Being up the hill its not for the faint hearted! Only a short walk up gives you some of the best views of the whole city from the castle grounds. The hotel lacks outdoor space but this is to be expected from a city hotel. Breakfast was lovely and the staff always busy cleaning and checking your needs.

Wonderful place to stay! Close enough to major sights, but not too close to be busy and noisy outside the hotel. We were trying to stay on a tight budget, so we got the smallest room they had, but still got an AMAZING view of Prague castle! Can't wait to go back!

This is a wonderful boutique hotel, located along the route of the royal procession in Mala Strana, also known as "Lesser Town," (near the Prague Castle). The area is just lovely - cobblestone streets, and much quieter than the boisterous Old Town section. The hotel is a wonderful value for what we paid, and one of the nicest boutique hotels we have stayed at. One word of caution - to get to the hotel from the tram, you have to walk up 3 blocks of cobblestone-paved sidewalks. The hotel is located a couple of blocks from the Palace/Castle and within walking distance from the Charles Bridge and the other side of town. 너무 깨끗하고 방도 크고 새로 리모델링 해서 그런지 너무 생각 보다 첨단적이면서도 따뜻한 호텔 욕실도 엄청 큽니다.

Die zweistöckige Panorama-Suite bietet viel: Ausblick auf die Stadt durch die Schrägfenster im Wohnbereich; Ausblick auf die beleuchtete Burg aus den kleinen Guckfensterchen einen Stock höher im Schlafbereich. Der Balkon fehlt. Der Dachstockausbau wurde originell gelöst. Leider entsprach die Qualität der Matratze nicht den Erfordernissen unserer Rücken. […] Sieben Nächte waren eindeutig zu viel. Das Rabattsystem für mehrtägige Aufenthalte ist so bemessen, dass auch ein grosses Zimmer erschwinglich ist. Der Service an der Reception (24h) ist stets freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Koffer müssen selber ins Zimmer geschleppt werden (geteilter Lift, etwas kompliziert). Der Frühstücksservice war stets gehetzt, wenn auch freundlich. Der Zimmerservice lässt zu wünschen übrig: so mürrisch wie die Reinigungsfrau dreinblickt, so putzt sie auch... Fazit: Wegen seiner Toplage auf der Kleinseite (Nerudova 28) kann das Hotel empfohlen werden. Das Gebotene bewegt sich aber eher auf 3Sterne-Niveau. Continua a leggere

Preis - Leistung ist sehr gut.

Varasimme tämän hotellin Prahasta nettivarausjärjestelmän avulla ja valintaan vaikutti hotellin saama myönteinen asiakaspalaute. Emme pettyneet odotuksissamme. Palvelu oli heti alusta lähtien ystävällistä ja huomaavaista. Tulimme hotelliin pari tuntia ennen virallista huoneiden luovutusaikaa. Koska huone oli valmiina, saimme sen heti käyttöömme. Samalla […] hyvän valikoiman esitteitä ja karttoja kaupungista. Huoneemme 4 kerroksessa avautuen viehättävälle Nerudova-kadulle oli kaunis ja toimiva. Liikenne ei juuri kuulunut ylös. Hotellin hintaan sisältyvä aamiaisbuffe oli monipuolinen ja palvelu pelasi aamuisin hyvin. Vastaanottohenkilökunta puhui hyvin englantia ja oli aina valmiina antamaan neuvoja esim. kaupungin liikenteen, nähtävyyksien tai esim. konserttien osalta. Hotellin nettipiste sijaitsi viehättävässä tilassa ja kone oli lähes aina vapaana. Pieni vihreä kattoterassi oli kaunis, jolta avautui upea näkymä suoraan ylhäällä sijaitsevan suuren palatsin alueelle. Hotellin läheisyydessä Nerudova-kadulla ja sen läheisyydessä oli monia hyviä, kohtuuhintaisia ravintoloita (kuten vaimoni suosikki Kolme Viulua). Myös hotellin sijainti oli hyvä, vaikka lähimmälle raitiovaunupysäkille olikin noin 500 metrin kävely. Lähimmälle metrolle oli runsaan kilometrin matka, mutta sinne pääsi hyvin raitiovaunun avulla. Kävelymatkan päässä olivat useimmat Prahan keskeiset nähtävyydet. Olimme hyvin tyytyväisiä siihen, että olimme valinneet lomamme hotelliksi juuri tämän. Fint lite hotell rett under slottet. Kort avstand til gamlebyen. Godt å ikke bo i gamlebyen, da det lett kan bli en del støy der. Hyggelig og hjelpsom betjening. Enkel men god frokost. Et godt valg til en fornuftig pris.

A localização deste hotel (rua Nerudova) é considerada um ponto turístico pois está no centro histórico e é a rua de acesso ao principal castelo da cidade. Além disso fica próximo a estação de metrô e de vários restaurantes. Os funcionários são atenciosos e o café da manhã simples, mas saboroso.

Für uns war das kleine Hotel ideal. Keine Massen an Leuten und das Personal hat genügend Zeit für deine Anliegen. Obwohl vorne an der Strassenseite eine Fußgängerzone durchläuft, sind die Zimmer hinten raus absolut ruhig. Hier bekommt man von vorne nichts mit. Das Golden Wheel liegt auch toll im Kern der Hauptsehenswürdigkeiten von Prag. Unterhalb der […] Prager Burg, 5 min zur Karlsbrücke und der Altstadt. Ein Auto ist hier nicht notwendig. Nur die Parkmöglichkeiten lassen zu wünschen übrig. Fazit: Eine wundervolle Stadt mit einem tollen Hotel. Continua a leggere

Inngangspartiet var ikke prangende, og uten banneret som hang oppe på veggen hadde vi måttet lete mer for å finne hotellet. Personalet var meget forekommende og serviceinnstilt. Rommet var rent og pent. Skråtaket med takvindu må gjester være OBS på; det er fort gjort å stange hodet der. 4 airconditionappareter sørget for behagelig innetemperatur i varmen. For […] nordmenn flest vil frokosten framstå som "tynn". Vi er vant til mer utvalg. Alt i alt: Et meget godt hotell med god og fredelig beliggenhet noen få minutters gange fra mange severdigheter. Erittäin ihana henkilökunta, kauniit huoneet. Sijainti meille hyvä eli vanhan kaupungin ulkopuolella, mutta mukavalla alueella ja lähellä vanhaa kaupunkia. Ainoat miinukset rikkinäinen lisätuuletin ja lämmin minibaari ja näistä mainitsimme (lähtiessämme) ja asia luvattiin tarkistaa. Hotel très agréable à tous points de vue. Le personnel est accueillant, l’hôtel charmant refait récemment. La chambre que nous avons eu était spacieuse et bien placée, à l'arrière, donnant sur le château et disposant d'une terrasse (410). L'hôtel est bien situé, proche à la fois du château et du Pont Charles, ainsi que du tramway.

Hotel parfait pour un séjour romantique à Prague; Hotel très propre , refait à neuf, belle chambre standard avec belle SDB. Prestations soignées. Très proche du chateau de Prague, ce qui a l'avantage d'éviter le matin la cohue. Accueil personnalisé. Petit déjeuner buffet tres correct Vraiment parfait . In den Zimmern zur Straße hin kann man nicht bei geöffnetem Fenster schlafen, da die Nerudova auch nachts sehr belebt ist. Es gibt aber in dem Hotel sehr schöne ruhige Zimmer nach hinten heraus.

Ok hotel, pænt og nydeligt. Desværre levede det ikke op til det jeg forventer ved et 4 stjernet hotel - slidte tynde håndklæder og begrænset morgenmadsbuffet. Et ok ophold i en spændende by, men næste gang vil jeg ike betale så meget extra for denne standard.

　立地、周辺環境、館内の雰囲気、設備共素晴らしいホテルです。ただ非常に残念だったのは、夜間のフロント（三日間同一人物）の態度で、到着早々２室予約した両部屋共バスタブが付いてなかったため、部屋の変更を依頼したところ、舌打ちするかのような応対でした(結果は、満室に近かったせいか　１室のみの変更でした）。その後はお互い気まづく（彼、いかにも小心そう。こちらも嫌がるのを無理に押し付けたような気がして）、出来るだけ顔を合わせないようにしてフロント前を通過。折角の、ちょっと勿体ないようなホテルなのに、そのホテルの顔ともいうべきフロントにこういう人物がいては台無しです。

Rena och fina rum, kändes väldigt fräscht och nyrenoverat, personalen var väldigt hjälpsamma och vi fick alltid bra och snabb service. Frukosten var bra den med, den serverades på caféet vägg i vägg med hotellet, även här fick vi toppen service! Hôtel très bien situé (entre le château et le Pont Charles), calme, personnel serviable. Nous avions demandé une chambre avec un grand lit, mais à l'arrivée nous n'avons eu que deux petits lits accolés. Dommage ! De plus, le deuxième jour notre chambre n'a pas été faite, ni les serviettes changées. Mais globalement c'est un très bel hôtel

Das Hotelgebäude steht unter Denkmalschutz und wurde perfekt renoviert. In der Nacht herrschte absolute Ruhe. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit wunderschöner Aussicht auf den Hradin. In jeder Beziehung ein Volltreffer.

Relación calidad /precio: EXCELENTE. Habitaciones confortables, limpias y silenciosas. Destacar, especialmente, la amabilidad del personal, tanto en recepción como en buffet. El desayuno abundante. Ubicación: excelente, a 5 minutos del Castillo, en una calle emblemática y con mucha historia.
