"Renovated, recommneded"
reading the previous review, I expected much worse hotel but it isn't. the hotel was renovated and pool and fitness room is very comfortable to use.
The staff was. It helpful at all. We requested one more pillow, which was denied and extra towels and were told to come get them ourselves. The flor in the bathroom was unclean. I will not be choosing this hotel again.

The hotel was what you would expect from a Days Inn. Clean, comfortable, with the usual amenities. The hotel staff was awesome! They really go the extra mile! Kind, courteous and considerate. A special thanks to the professionals at Days Inn who made our visit so pleasant.

The staff were nice but the swimming pool was dirty and slimmy, The hot tub was nasty dirty and wasn't filled or working. My roomsaid it had a game console also but was not true, I was never told I would have to pay 7.00 for 60 min for my 2 sons to play the video game. I was not happy with our vacation

the rooms were somewhat clean however there were ongoing problems with the telephone and toiet. when we asked to speak to the manager we were told he was to busy to speak with us
"Convenient Location"
The hotel was very close to the place I was going and why I was visiting the area. It wasn't the cleanest hotel room I've ever stayed in, but definitely not the worst. The staff seemed nice, but I didn't have much interaction with them other than when checking in/out.

The hotel accomodations were very good. Front desk employees very friendly. Complimentary breakfast. Would prefer vaccuming of room each day..and only one wash cloth given, the last day. But., over all, it is clean and well-run.

"Dump"
Hotel was in horrible condition. The hot tub was out of order with a blue tarp covering it and the pool was unusable due to the condition of the water. It had slime on the surface with dirt and debree on the bottom. Hotel staff looked at the pool and said there was no way he'd get in there and laughed.

For what we paid this hotel was a great deal. Spacious rooms. Nice public spaces. Attractive decor. Lots of restaurants nearby.

We were disappointed that the jacuzzi was out of order.

The staff was very good and accomodating, however, their hot tub was out :( and they had no wireless connection as planned. We had online needs and had to leave the hotel to accomodate this. "Nice Room For The Money"
Room was nice. Bed was a little firm for me. Good location. The staff was great. I'd stay there again.
"Could have been a 4 but ..."
Everything was fine, except I couldn't sleep! The pillows were like hard, fat rocks, and my neck hurt in the morning. I asked at the front desk for a smaller pillow but was told they were all the same (doubtful!). I had to borrow one from my daughter's dorm room to sleep the 2nd night. I left that pillow in the room when I checked out & had to backtrack […] 1/2 an hour to get it. I was then told to find a maid to let me in the room. I was a bit nervous about making reservations at this Days Inn because of the previous reviews, but decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. The price was very reasonable and the staff was extremely friendly which are important to me. I thought the room was clean, but had a musty smell. "Shining in Cincinnati"
The Days Inn is a fantastic hotel and a real hidden budget gem but they were a few things that made our stay a bit unusual. The hotel is a former Best Western and it seemed like they were in the process of repairing and remodeling it into the Days Inn format. The pool was closed and several meeting rooms were completely empty and being cleaned giving […] the hotel an undercontruction look and feel. There were very few other guest staying the night we were there. It was quiet...almost too quiet, it reminded me of the movie "The Shining". The hotels pool was closed unanounced, we did not get the room we were supposed to and they had to "Rearrange" somethings to even fit us in. The shower squeeled when turned on and there was burn holes in the blanket.

I was aware that the pool was now available before we arrived. No problem. I was not aware that: - the elevator would be out of order for a time - one of two ice machines would be out of order - the wireless internet ( ironically names Roomlink) could not be accessed from your room, only the lobby - the cable would go out one night - the room would […] not be made up one day - we would have to request towels several times - the breakfast bar would run out of cups, Danish and bread leading to long waits as the only staff member tried to service the breakfast bar, while managing the front desk. - cigarette smoke would be smelled from the next room - an apology would never be offered for any of these inconvenience Continua a leggere
"Not the best"
We stayed at the Days Inn - Forest Park for one night (7/9-7/10). We waited at the front desk for atleast 10 minutes before someone finally came out. The man at the desk was not friendly and informed us that the pool area was closed. We were not informed of this before we arrived. We were told that it would be closed until August and the main reason […] that I chose this hotel was because of the indoor pool. I have a young child that loves to swim and wanted to make sure we could swim even if it rained. I did not make a big fuss over it because there was nothing that could be done. We finished checking in and went to our room. The room was adequate for the 4 of us staying here for the night but the beds were uncomfortable. Around 7:00 we decided to head out and visit a few stores and grab some dinner, which was harder than expected. The hotel is NOT a nice area at all. After going into a few stores, we found that most of the restaurants were closed by 9 (on a Saturday night). Would not recommend this hotel at all. Continua a leggere

Where to start. No pool. Internet did not work. Air on the 3rd floor did not work in the hall way. Room service only cleaned our room once and we were there for 4 nights. Had to ask for clean towels. "Close to Cincinatti mall and surrounding areas"
I had no idea that when I picked the hotel it would be in such a good spot. It's right off the highway and the mall and restaurants around it made getting what I needed fast and easy. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. Most of the time was not spent in the room, but when I was there I felt comfy. This hotel is under renovations. The shower did not work. We had to change rooms.
The room itself was in fair condition. I had to ask for clean towels everyday I was there because my room was not cleaned and replenished with clean towels. The pool was not working and it was smoking hotttt! It was not the worst or best.

Terrible staff and management- terrible neighborhood!!!! Pool was closed for repairs until july 2011 and never noted on website. When we returned to the hotel late on Saturday after our event there was a private party on the entire first floor- the manager and his friends and family- wtith a very loud DJ and dance music and kids running the hall and […] banging on doors . when I went to the front desk to complain at 1 am I was told it was the manager's party and wouldn't be over until after 2 am. It lasted until well after 3! Shortly after we left the next morning at 7am- the hotel front desk was robbed at gunpoint. there was no lock on side or rear hotel entrances and was in a high crime area! Continua a leggere

We enjoyed our stay at the Days Inn in Forest Park, Ohio. It was very easy to find, very clean, and the people at the desk were very nice and helpful! There was a slight problem with my Hotel.com reservation, but they did everything they could in a friendly manner. Everything was solved in about 10 minutes. The price was less than I was quoted, which […] was refreshing! The only problem we had was that the air conditioning was not working. As soon as we mentioned it, we were moved to the room next door.
