Recensito da un utente di Hotels.com in data 23 feb 2013Hotel perfetto per soggiorni lunghi in quanto ha un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. La mia camera aveva un letto matrimoniale ed un letto supplementare per mia figlia uno schermo lcd ed un bagno con vasca e bidet. Se si vuole modificare la temperatura interna della camera bisogna lasciare un deposito di 10 sterline per avere un telecomando. La colazione per noi italiani è perfetta in quanto ci sono cornetti, pan raisin (cornetti all'uvetta grandi e piccoli) saccottini al cioccolato, panini,nutella (proprio nutella) marmellate,yougurt e pane da tostare. Se cercate la colazione inglese dovete pagare un supplemento perchè di salato è presente solo il prosciutto cotto. L'hotel si trova in zona 3 ed è a 15 minuti a piedi dalla metro (ma c'è il bus 48 che passa ogni 10 minuti e vi lascia sotto l'hotel). In 30 minuti si è in pieno centro. Se dovete passare pochi giorni a Londra forse non è l'ideale ma per chi deve passare una settimana come abbiamo fatto noi è consigliabile

Per quanto riguarda la stanza c'erano armadi piccolissimi ci si deve adattare.Buona colazione e molti giovani, dunque alla sera c'era parecchio movimento.

"Ideal for Harry Potter studio"
There isn't a closer hotel for the Harry Potter Studio tour; it’s about 5 minute drive twenty min walk. The prices of the hotel food are not to bad but because of the drink prices we decided not to eat there. The price of wine/alcohol was ridiculous! So our nice dinner and drinks at the hotel idea was thrown out the window. We drove around and googled […] restaurants near Watford about ten min away from the hotel we found a Harvester which we ate at and was amazing. There was also a Frankie and Benny’s, TGI Fridays and more! Shame we couldn’t drink though as we had to drive. Hotel was ok as it was dirt-cheap but we wouldn’t of paid any more than we did for it. This hotel is just the job if you need an overnight stay in the area, for business or a social stop. The main body of the hotel is a grand older building, with the majority of accomodation housed in a fairly new annex, connected to the main hotel. The rooms are modern, clean and comfortable; if a little on the small side. Once you're out of your bed, […] you're either at the desk or in the bathroom, which again is modern and clean with a decent enough size bath. I had breakfast in the morning, which was standard hotel fare, certainly nothing to complain about. Business-wise, the location is excellent, just a couple of minutes from the M25/A41. The actual hall and location is beautiful. If you are staying in the hotel it is a modern bolt on building next to the old hall. The pool was ok but the changing rooms were not very good. "photos misleading & very noisy corridoors / doors"
The actual accommodation is in a very plain cheaply built brick annex. You don't actually stay or even enter into the main house area (which is what all the photos show). Poor sound proofing and poor sound limiting as a well. "A nice discreet getter way"
The place is wicked nice an quiet an peaceful. Room was very very small though. Staff are really polite. The only downfall is u have to check out at 10:00am which was a bummer. "What a total Disaster!!!!"
Superb pics of a stately home, but then you drive round the back to a modern hotel bearing no resemblance to what you have booked. Buy a mondeo and get round the back to find a fiesta!!!!! I arrived at 8pm Sunday and it was -2c but no radiator on in room. When i turned it on it made a really loud noise and carried on doing so and i had to move rooms […] but had unpacked. No offer to help me just got moved to a room down corridor. I went to the bar which was freezing also, paid £4.30 for a pint of lager(menu said £3.85) and then went to be on a rock hard mattress as other reviews have said.......DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL!!!!!!! Disappointing. Miss-representation of the surroundings, the hotel shown is a character building where as the rooms were in long, dingy, cold corridors separate to the house. The rooms were cramped and the communual areas need attention.The swimming pool changing rooms smelt of cigarette smoke and the pool area is poorly kept with mold on the loungers […] and structural issues in the conservatory area making it cold, wet and unwelcoming. Nice setting but average room for price which was quite small with no armchair. Breakfast buffet was £10.50 each and quite good with plenty of bacon etc but limited fruit salad and only fried eggs. "Comfy Rooms but Not Exactly Spacious"
This hotel was very comfortable, with a lovely bed and ample pillows, a lovely en suite and a LCD TV with Freeview. For the purposes of an overnight stop en route to London it was perfect, but the room was on the small side. I would imagine perhaps too small if you're planning to stay there for any longer than overnight, or a couple of nights. Would […] gladly stay again for short stops though! "St. Patric's Day stay"
Room No. 1. Other hotel guests made a lot of noise after midnight. Room door rattled with the slightest breeze in the corridor. All doors slamed shut if left to their own device. Result - poor nights sleep!Recensioni obiettive Hotels.com
