"Lovely start to our holiday"
Le Lagon is a nice Resort. We had initial room issues in 422 but turned out for the best as we were moved to room 115 which was perfect. Highly recommend this room, perfect view over the Lagoon, breezy. Erakor Lagoon and Erakor Island are beautiful. With a family of kids 14 and 10, we kayaked and snorkelled daily, chatted to kids on the other side and […] regularly had icecream at Erakor Island. There's a Ferry run by Erakor Island right beside Le Lagon which costs 1000 vatu adults and 500 for kids during the day but you can recoup this cost towards food and drink. At night it's free and one night they had a pizza and movie night on the beach - perfect! Le Lagon is perfect for resort lifestyle with pools, swim up bar, golf course, tennis court, kids club (one day the whole family went with kids club to a local school), themed buffet dinners, one night it was a BBQ by the pool, oh and importantly for March, airconditioning. Not too far to Port Villa, 700 vatu in cab. It was a lovely start to our holiday. After 5 nights we transferred to Island Magic at Mele Bay which I would also recommend, very nice 2 bedroom self contained fan cooled Bungalows. Great snorkelling, just jump in off the wharf at the front of the bungalows, close to the Cascades and delightfully helpful couple managing the place - took us in the back of their truck to the Cascades (didn't have to go in the back, but kids loved it) and down to the Beach Bar Friday night for Fire Dancing. Tanna Coffee is an easy bike ride, unfortunately they only have 2 adult bikes but was nice for my husband and I to have a ride and nice coffee together. A fair way out of town so best to grab supplies before you get there, however they do have essentials at the front office, and when I say a fair way, only about 20min drive. Another fantastic day out we did was to Blue Lagoon, the most amazing blue waterhole with ropes to swing from the trees, our 9 yr old son had a ball with the local kids Closer to Le Lagon but we did it Continua a leggere

"Warwick LaLagon - Nearly great hotel"
Just back hours ago from Warwick La Lagon Vanuatu,if you have kids or just want a fantastic hotel this is it.Great kids club, fantastic location and wonderful presentation of pools and surroundings.For couples also everything is on offer. If however, you are impatient or expect even somewhat quality of service and become frustrated with SLOW service […] - don't come here.With 5 guests at the bar and 6 staff on it will take you 20 minutes to get served a beer, even when they take your order it will take another 5 minutes to pour and serve - SERVICE IS EXTREMELY POOR - but don't let that turn you off, if you can get past this. It is a nice resort. Just take your duty free booze and there is a supermarket just outside the gate and get mixers and drink in your room.Also if you are thinking of an Asian priced holiday, this is NOT the case, it is a lovely yet very third world country but everything costs Sydney / Melbourne pricing and there is not any street styled eateries and nothing is open after 8.00 pm, you come out of a restaurant at 8.30 pm and it is dark nothing is open, you could be in the middle of a country paddock. Some nice restaurants to look out for but expect to pay about $80.00 plus per couple for a nice but not overly fancy dinner. If you are staying at Warwick and want same priced but better by far food take the free ferry / punt across the water from the resort ( only a couple of hundred metres ) to Erekor Island and eat there - best steaks, fantastic seafood chowders and desserts that WILL take you back there, same price as resort but heaps better and the service over at the island compared to the resort is chalk and cheese, you will be surprised. Stay at the resort and eat and swim and snorkel at the island. Don't get me wrong - the resort was great but the service drove everyone around the twist, the lunch at the pool bar was a farce, drinks were SO SO SO SLOW, we ordered drinks one day, waited,waited went to the room and made some Vodka tonics from dut Continua a leggere
"Best Resort on Efate"
Recently stayed at Le Legon 22/2 -29/2/12 for my 20th wedding anniversary. Absolutely lovely. The pools were great to cool down in. We stayed in a King Size Garden Bungalow it was spacious and airy. The Seafood Buffet on Sunday night was delicious included Coconut Crab and local fish, worth doing while staying there. The pool bar was also nice to hang […] out at. Staff very friendly and helpful. "Warwick Le Lagoon Resort & Spa, almost perfect."
Really loved the holiday, second trip to Vanuatu and the Warwick was amazing. We were so impressed with the food, every night was a different theme and all tasted fantastic. And the Wild Ginger restaurant had even better food. The Lagoon had ok snorkling, nothing like Hideaway Island but then the Warwick is much better base to stay in comfort and day […] trip out from and the kids loved the three swimming pools. The only down side was even though we loved the food my wife and I and several other friends and family (we travelled over for wedding) all got stomach bugs which had us running to the toilet. We only hate and drank at the Warwick so we all got the bug from there. We drank a mix of bottled and tap water so don't know if the food or water was to blame. I would still go back and just cross my fingers not to get a bug again as food was really good. lol Continua a leggere

"Un peu loin du centre mais très agréable"
Bel endroit, agréable, une belle piscine mais pour aller dans l'oc"an ne pas oublier les chaussures. la présence de touristes australiens en nombre fait grimper les prix, c'est dommage. Un peu loin du centre (30 minutes à pied). A proximité, il faut aller diner à la Chaumière et à l'Houstalet

"Hotel warwick a Port vila super cadre!!"
cadre super,spacieux,piscine tres appreciée par les enfants avec son bar.un ajout de crépes,gauffres,coupe de glace....sur la carte serait le top! les serviettes de la piscine sont à changées car trop vieilles: bordure effilochées,couleurs passée! au restaurant, trés bien mais sur le buffet barbecue dommage que les steaks etaient trop cuit,et pas assez […] de légumes du pays. Sinon, super séjour en famille!!!!! Dans l'espoir un jour d'apprécier la voiture a Port vila, car l'état de la ROUTE est vraiment excecrable:!!! Pitié.. Aussi,se méfier des locations de voitures, la notre le turbo à lacher sur le trajet avec des enfants a bord,pas trés évident.l'état des voitures louées laissent à désirée et doit étre améliorée.
