We didn't like the parking at this hotel at all. It was very inconvient for us to park our car in a very tight space. Sofa in the living room was broken. Also, the curtains in this room were ripped.We wouldn't recomend this hotel to our friends.

I did have some complaints. 1. The quality of the room was below average, meaning: the cupboards were usable but were falling apart, you could see where some of the shelves were caving in and the quality of the work was very shotty. This was not a deal breaker. 2. Which is the biggest and possibly a deal breaker for us, PARKING. Big deal the parking […] garage was located within the actual resort building and was around 9 floors high. The parking garage however had only between 5-8 spots per floor making it impossible to find a parking spot. The worse factor of the parking garage being that the corners and dimensions were so tight that it was near impossible to manuever within the parking garage if there was another car anywhere near you. Even without another car breathing down your neck for a spot the ramps to the next higher level were so small and tight together in our full sized 4 door sedan we had trouble making the turns properly. They did however have an over sized vehicle parking lot which we parked in one night and got a warning ticket. This upset me as I mentioned I have a full sized 4 door sedan car it is longer than most average 4 door sedans and this factor made it quite difficult to park within the small, tight, poorly designed parking garage. The hotel itself is nice. Our 1 bedroom suite was good. The only issue was we found a bug in one of the queen beds. The beds were slightly uncomfortable. Some guests were noisy, especially while returning to their rooms at night, waking others. Rooms was clean.

Hotel room was beatiful. All of the spaces are individually owned condos so that explains it. The rest of the hotel isn't much to look at. Getting to the room was a big relief. It is directly on the beach and has a great ocean view from three sides.

It was an ok place to stay but it was old. The parking garage was a nightmare unless you have a compact car. If you have a suv or truck stay away. I love staying at this hotel. It was wonderful I love the suite and the service. The attractions was convient and store was right around the corner. My kids enjoyed the two pool and I enjoyed the hot tub and bar. It was the best vacation I ever had and I loved every moment of it. This was the first time I have ever used a travel site like expedia,or any other, and I was a nervouse wreck about what the conditions of my hotel arrangements would turn out like because of the negative reviews that I had read about Ocean Forrest Plaza. When I arrived it was a huge relief. The front desk personnel was fine and my room was nice and […] clean and had everything I needed and was promised. There was however a dirty washcloth over the shower curtain rail. Not sure if it was from the previous occupants or used by the maid for a cleaning rag. Either way, no big deal. Things happen. Just by staying at that particular hotel, we got to use ALL of the facilities at ALL of the Ocean Dunes and Sand Dunes Hotels in the area which came in handy when were able to use the indoor water park at another hotel on our 3rd day there when it rained. So even though the swimmimg pools at our hotel weren't the greatest, we got to use better ones at other hotels. The beach was perfect though and that is what we came for. We also got FREE access to a large outdoor water park and a FREE deep sea boat tour and dolphin watch and FREE nature park access with zip line and horseback riding and archery and pellett gun targets and a round of golf for only $15 cart fee. All within about a 20 drive to each. All included just for staying Ocean Forrest Plaza. Those extras alone would have cost as much EACH as a night in our hotel. Very disappointed. The furniture was outdated along with the appliances that appeared to have never been upgraded. Parking garage was for compact cars, we had to find parking in the street or back lot. We were suppose to stay for 3 days but checked out after 2 days.

The only complaint I have is the parking, it is a VERY tight squeeze to park. To even get to the next level in the parking garage you have to back up so you don't scrub the wall. Since it is across the street from the beach instead of ocean front like it gives the impression that it is, the side view rooms are the best to have in order to see the beach. I was a little nervous about the parking garage after reading previous reviews, so I was expecting the worst. When we arrived, it was even worse than I had imagined! I thought my car was going to be stuck in the garage forever! My 10 yr old had to get out and help me negotiate the extremely tight squeeze. Yes, I drive a gas-guzzling SUV, but even the […] over-sized vehicle lot was inadequate. After managing to get out of the garage, we got up to our room, where our key did not work. So we went back down and the ladies at the front dest re-programmed it. It still didn't work. After the 3rd time of re-programming the card and it not working, they thought maybe they would need to call maintenance. It was 8pm, and my children and I had not yet eaten dinner, so we left to eat, and when we got back they said the scanner was cleaned "real well". I still had issues with the key, but it did finally work. I had a problem getting back in every time we left the room, but they said they didn't have another room to give me. The room itself wasn't anything special, but it was adequate. The bed was very comfortable, sofa bed... not so comfortable. There wasn't enough silverware for the 5 of us, so eating in wasn't going to happen unless we ate in shifts. Housekeeping was non-existant. I never even saw a cart out in the hallways. I really didn't care if no one came in to clean the room on a daily basis, but it took 3 requests over a 12 hr period to get clean towels! The location itself is great! We had a nice ocean view, and the beach itself is a short walk across the street. It is away from a lot of the hustle and bustle, but still had plenty nearby. My girls loved the indoor and outdoor pools. I had decided I would never stay there again after seeing that parking garage. I don't know who designed it, but they certainly didn't have any type of engineering degree! It also really bothered me that every time I left the room, I wasn't sure if I'd be able to get back in! My friend and I booked a 1 bedroom unit at Ocean Forest Plaza in January. We loved the indoor pool, hot tub and sauna. The desk help was less than helpful and the room was less than clean. The carpets really needed shampooing, the bathroom mirror had spots and spittle, and the pillows on the beds showed yellow stains from previous travelers. Luckily, I found two clean ones in the closet. The bathroom smelled very sour when we first got there but after running the water […] in the shower, it improved. I guess it had been a while since anyone stayed in there and the water in the pipes had obtained a very musty odor. The key mechanism on the door only worked half the time so we were up and down the elevator (17th floor!) several times getting new keys or help from security. We were there during Thanksgiving and knew housekeeping didn't clean on Thursday but when our room didn't get attention on Friday and we went to the desk to tell them, they just said "Oops" . We had to ask for new towels and more toilet paper. No apology. The pluses? A beautiful view and a good layout to the one-bedroom suite. There were a few minor quality/maintenance issues with our room, like some of the tiles in the bathroom being damaged to the point of needing repaired, but the repair had yet to take place.
