Hotel che avrebbe bisogno di restauri urgenti, piuttosto vetusto. Spazi molto piccoli e angusti. colazione gratuita ma a malapena sufficiente. Personale molto disponibile e affabile. Non propio un 4 stelle. La reception molto cortesemente mi ha chiamato un taxi per l'aeroporto. L'albergo si presenta bene, vicino alla stazione della U - Bahn Rosslauer e la camera è molto spaziosa e gradevole. L'hotel si trova in una zona deliziosa e tranquilla, vicinissimo alla metropolitana e a poca distanza a piedi dal centro. Vicino all'hotel ci sono anche alcuni ristoranti di buona qualità. Nel periodo in cui ci siamo andati noi era pieno zeppo, e quindi era molto rumoroso. La colazione era servita in ambienti stretti e molto affollati, veramente poco […] allettante. Un punto a sfavore. Anche la pulizia delle stanze lasciava un po' a desiderare. Nel complesso però non mi sentirei di dare un giudizio troppo negativo. Hotel a due passi dalla stazione degli autobus che ti portano con 5 mninuti al centro, a piedi ci vuole 15 minuti. Zona tranquillissima e personale molto accogliente e preparato. Girare per Vienna è una esperienza unica. Una città sorprendente per molteplici aspetti. Si spende poco per mangiare, i trasporti sono eccellenti, gli austriaci molto gentili. La pulizia è di casa.

Ci hanno dato una mansarda all'ottavo piano.... un po' bohemienne. Qualche pecca riguardo alcune suppellettili e lampadine fiacche!! Personale gentile e colazione a buffet tutto sommato all'altezza di un 4 stelle. Estremamente comodo come base di partenza per le escursioni.

Close to sights, Ubahn, Tram, and good restaurants. Staff are friendly, and informative. Breakfast has good selection of both hot & cold food. Rooms are clean and soundproof. I would definitely stay here again.

It was a shame as the overall cleanliness of hotel was fine, but there was an annex separate to the main hotel, which was a make shift hotel in which we were allocated rooms. It was obvious they let long stay students stay in this part which does not make for a quiet nights sleep. Loud music and knocking on our door kept us awake most the night and […] it was quite intimidating walking through crowds of teenagers hanging out on the stairwell late at night to access the room. Our room was warm and quiet. The staff were helpful and friendly. I was very impressed that the waiter at breakfast remembered our groups' drinks preferences on our 2nd morning. The breakfast room was a little small and crowded. The walk into the centre was about 20 minutes which our group enjoyed but may not be everyone's preference. There was an underground […] station just around the corner though. Also in the wing in which we were staying there were quite a lot of steps to get up before we reached the lift so families with young children would have to make sure they were put into the main hotel building. no location centrally, but only one train stop away or walk a few blocks and you're around all the action. For a long stay it was worth saving the money from stay right in the middle of central. The rooms were great and came with free breakfast.

The hotel is well-placed near a metro station and there are pubs and restaurants in walking distance. The breakfast was good, there was enough choice of bread, cheese, ham, eggs etc and staff there were very happy to get more if requested. Staff at reception were pleasant but not warm or friendly in their manner, some coming across as aloof. We had […] booked two twin rooms but were told that two twin rooms were not available. I expressed my concern at this and eventually a second twin room was found, but no explanation or apology was given. Once in our room it had the basic amenities and was very clean. However our shower did not work, there was a pressure and temperature problem with it, it dribbled water and went from boiling hot to ice cold without a medium. I told reception and a man was sent to our room to look at it. He spent 10 minutes in the room while we waited and then left. However the shower was not fixed and we again informed reception. Throughout our three night stay nothing was done about this and having informed them immediately, I consider this to be unacceptable. On checkout we were told that breakfast was not included and I challenged this as I knew for certain that it was. After five minutes this was sorted out but again I felt that I had been met with obstacles that were unnecessary. A pleasant but basic hotel that did not address the problem we brought to them and this diminished our comfort and enjoyment. Continua a leggere

i stay in this hotel 2 days, it was far from city center unlike what written in hotle.com discreption, break fast is normal no thing to show, however all the rooms was seperated by thin sealing and any sound in the other rooms will fall directely in your ears!, there is now sound sealing installed inbetween the walls, this hotel is definetly 2 star […] NOT 4 star!!, if you want to have cheap price but nothing else, then this is your hotel !!! I am not quite sure why this is rated as a four star hotel. Decor was a little dated. Elevators are quite slow, but OK. Breakfast was good in a more European type. Personnel was all good and the location in good. A couple of issues. Number one: NO AIR CONDITIONING! Do four star hotels really not have AC in Europe? At least have a ceiling fan, or at […] a minimum, an occillating fan in the room. Weather wasn't too bad, but even so, the room got real hot. I can't imaging staying here during hot summer weather. The other issue is the noise that echos through the courtyard of anyone, and everyone who enters the hotel. Compounded with this, is that you have to have the window open at night in order to get any kind of air movement in the room. But, I still enjoyed Vienna, and all else was fine. This was the second time I chose this hotel. The location was good because it was just next to an underground station, however, the concern was quiet. The service was good. And the cost was reasonable.

The hotel was a good hotel and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Although not centrally located in Vienna, it was very close to a subway stop and you could be in the heart of Vienna in a matter of minutes. Although the neighbourhood was good, there was not a lot to see in the immediate vicinity. Super location with easy access to the U-Bahn. Super room and facilities. The breakfast area was rather frantic at times, no, most of the time. Many people trying to use a small space, with long lines at times. The service did the best they could! But we would definitely come back.

This is not a 4-Star hotel for sure. You have to pay extra for breakfast, internet, bar, all those little things that come out at the end very heavy. The location was good, staff was helpful. Chosen for the location (few steps from underground, even center was reachable on foot). To be improved in the room 1) Lightening - energy saving bulbs are not effective, in bathroom in particular- 2) No air conditioning -which was bad in the hottest summer days of July-. On arrival young woman on front desk not helpful and actually sighed when I asked for a room change to an upper floor. The internet access was primitive: we paid a set amt for a specific time period and were taken by a staff person to someone's office to use their computer. It was dial up so ate up a lot of time just getting booted up. We like checking […] email daily but found this system too cumbersome and only did it once. There was no coffee maker or kettle and luckily I had my own small travel element. The last morning I went to make coffee and it was gone. I thought it was stolen by the maid. I went to the front desk to report the theft and the staff had it. I was told it's their policy not to allow these devices. I told them I was angry that I had not been informed that it was taken and the man said he had called the room but there was no answer. Good location. Hotel divided between 2 buildings, we were in older building and unfortunately sharing the building with some very noisy students. Room had high ceiling but no air con. Room fairly sparse but clean and adequate. Staff not overly accessible or helpful. Breakfast satisfactory.

Traveling with two adult daughters we found the the sleeping room/kitchen arrangement at the Deutschmeister spacious and accommodating. On the top floor of the older building, it proved to be well ventilated but warm given the 80 degree temperatures in Vienna. Location is good given the price, two minute walk to the U-Bahn, less than five minutes to […] the tram, and about 15 minutes into Stephanplatz made getting around the city very easy. Hotel also had parking at a reasonable rate, whereas fifteen euro for a wireless code seemed a bit excessive. I spent a week at the Deutschmeister. It is extremely well placed for the underground, being about 100 m from Rossauer Lande station on the U4 line. it's right beside the Donau Canal, which has lots of walks and parks. Cafes, shops and a church are only a few minutes away also. I had a small apartment which was very tidy and well maintained. I made […] use of the small kitchen, which had a combined microwave/fan oven. My only criticism is that the walls are quite thin and noise from other guests, including things like bathroom fans, is quite loud. I sleep in earplugs when I'm travelling, so it wasn't a particular problem, although if you had small children you might find it difficult to get them to sleep.
