I think this would be a great place to stay......but lobby was dirty. Really needs to upgrade.

I recently stayed in this hotel for 5 nights. I might use this hotel again my stay wasn't to bad. I had to change rooms the first day because of a hot water issue. Every night I would place a do not disturb sign on my door but house keeping still knocked on the door or called me on the phone. I had a 3hr time difference I was dealing with & a baby with […] me so to have them bother me was a little annoying. I would just make my needs known ahead of time for my next visit. The girl at the front desk was very rude because i interupted her texting upon trying to check in late at night. Then the manager came to help and had her lleave and he was much nicer. Once in the room, there was hair in BOTH beds on the bed sheets. Also it was raining outside AND in our bathroom. The floor was completely wet at 6 am from the rain leaking […] in through the exhaust vent...def not safe. I will NEVER stay here again. Upon check out in the am, the young man was nice when i told him of the problems, but did not offer even partial refund. The breakfast room was filthy. Continua a leggere

The room was clean and the bed was extremely comfy, but the rest of the hotel needed some help.. didnt offer much for breakfast and the halls needed the floors cleaned and the non smoking and smoking rooms are right next to each other, so the hallways always smelled like smoke..

Room was not cleaned upon check in.The girl at the desk said check in was not until 3pm even though hotels.com stated it was at 2pm.So we waited until 3:10 pm and it still wasn't cleaned.They moved us to another room but made us feel like we were a bother.Overall dirty looking rooms.Not a pleasant experience.

It looked a little ghetto, however the front desk people were very helpful. I was a little mad because the pool was closed down and that the hotel did not seem to have working air conditioning in the halls or in the lobby.

Not a good place to stay. We found silverfish in the room. It has 2 floors, but no elevator and I was not told about that when I booked the room. After having knee surgery it wasn't easy to get to the room. the hallways were so very very hot. We were glad we were there to sleep only. the pool was under maintenance, there was a band playing until 3am. […] But they did have a sign that said you may hear the band in your room. We were not told about a breakfast and actually I never saw anything set up at all. We will stay somewhere else next time. Continua a leggere

No pool on a hot summer's evening and then TV looked like it was snowing on every channel. The entryway stairwell was dirty, although fortunately our room was clean. Hampton Inn next door would have been worth the extra money in comparison.

We were told at the time we made the two day reservation the outdoor pool would be open. It wasn't. When I made a comment about wishing I had known that because the 7 and 9 year old little girls in the car were really gonna be disappointed, the gentleman said he would be happy to cancel our reservation or hold the room until we checked rates and availability […] at some of the other hotels close by. We were promised a refrigerator and microwave in the room. When brought to the front desk's attention, they delivered it. Unfortunately, to the room across the hall. They did bring another set, but left it outside our door. We had to carry both into our room. When we complained about our air conditioning not working efficiently they offered us a different room. When I explained we were on our way out the door to watch the Madison, IN Regatta parade, they said they would not guarantee the replacement room if we didn't move then. When I questioned the reasoning behind that, the "manager" blew up and said she would take care of it. The room had a foul odor and a dirty floor. There were no snacks in 2 of the 3 vending machines on the first floor. (Our room was on the second floor). The ice machine on the 2nd floor was out of order, so we had to go to the first floor to get ice. There were handwritten notices that seemed to be everywhere letting you know something was not working. The laundry carts were actually grocery carts. The "free" continental breakfast was only from 6 AM-9 AM, and coffee ran out both mornings we were there. Needless to say, we will NEVER stay here again, and would NEVER recommend the hotel to anyone. Worst hotel stay I have ever had. Seriously! Continua a leggere

Pool covered with long term protective cover. Pool was advertised by Quality Inn website (linked by Hotels.com). Young lady at the front desk said it would be down atleast through June and probably until 2012. It is still listed as a feature at the Quality Inn website. Pre-Reunion pool party canceled. Hotel had a fould odor. It is a very old building, […] but this was a mold/mildew type smell. My room was fairly clean despite this. The air conditioner was fair at best. During a mild, overcast summer day (High 84) the A/C struggled to cool. The coolest it got was 75 after maximum setting for 12 hours. There are no elevators. Despite having 6 other cars in the parking lot and a school bus, I was unable to convince the young lady at the front desk to book me on the first floor. I did not expect much in a Quality Inn at this lower rate in Scottsburg, IN. But I do expect the ammenities offered, clean room and reasonable requests to be met or atleast attempted. Next time I need to stay in Scottsburg I will attempt the place that shares the Quality Inn parking lot. Sorry, I do not remember the name. Continua a leggere

Its a good hotel for the money. The room and bed were clean. The hotel isnt new but it does the job. I will be back here again.

It was not pleasant, maintained and breakfast was a joke.
