"Close to Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium"
We were in town for a girls trip to see Trace Adkins in concert - hotel was perfect! Very quick walk to the concert. Hotel was beautiful - could tell had been renovated recently. Great stay - highly recommend!
"Fire Alarm"
This hotel rents out their ballroom to a local church group on Sunday mornings. The rock band on stage set off pyrotechnics and triggered the fire alarm. The staff would not admit that this was the problem, attributed it to "construction". I will never stay there again.
Beautiful hotel- loved the room. Very convenient to everything downtown.
"Desk Staff"
The desk staff was "outstanding" ! My wife and I travel a lot and we were more than impressed with how friendly , kind and helpful they all were . The young lady was extremely nice , I wish I could remember her name . There must be a great manager there .
My husband and I were greatly impressed with the staff during our stay. We would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

The lock on my door malfunctioned, and although it was repaired by the hotel's engineer, this caused me a lot of inconvenience. I previewed a movie, accidentally hit the purchase button, and was unable to stop it; I phoned the front desk, was told the charge would be deleted, but at check-out learned that it had not been. It was deleted at that time, […] however. These complaints are minor, perhaps, but if you are on a tight schedule such minor annoyances add up quickly. I've stayed at this hotel five or six times before, and the quality of service and maintenance have definitely declined. I don't plan to book it again. Continua a leggere

I have been staying here for the last four years during my son's college years. This hotel is consistently outstanding in quality, service, and comfort. The location is great, right by Wofford and Converse College and next to the downtown area. The staff is friendly and prioritizes customer service. With business to do in Spartanburg, we stayed where our associate advised and found this hotel a welcome choice - particularly after looking at all of the other options. This hotel is above average for the location, and well positioned in the heart of downtown.

My stay was a one night get away for my self. I am a very busy wife and mother and after a very busy year I wanted a night or 2 away befor the school year began again. This was a perfect stop along the way. I loved the large room and the 12:00 check out time that allowed me to sleep in a little. Check out was easy too. I enjoyed staying in the hotel. Everything was good except having plastic cups /glass for drinking in the room. For a Marriott property at this level I except non-plastic cups/glasses.
