This Extended Stay was not as nice as some I have stayed in. We were in a non-smoking room, but it smelled like smoke in our room and in the hallway. Also, our room did not have proper curtains, just two black-out panels attempting to cover the windows. As we were on the first floor, we could therefore not open the "curtains" during the day, making […] the room feel like a dank hole. In addition, there were three huge spotlights outside of our room, so on the first night we could not sleep at all because the makeshift "curtains" did not block out all of the light. The next morning, I asked the person at the reception desk if she could please make sure to get proper curtains in the room. She said she would do so. When we returned to our room several hours later, the curtains had not been put up. So I called again, this time talking to another attendant. This person said she would get it done, as well, and that she would call me right back. She didn't. I waited a while, and then I went up to the front desk to speak about this in person. This attendant had just gotten on duty, and she had not been told about the situation by the previous two people I had spoken with. I explained the situation, and she got some curtains from the maintenance room that I hung up myself by standing on the air conditioning unit and draping the curtains across as best I could. They really need to get their act together and get some more professional employees, apparently. Continua a leggere

For a comparable price I could have stayed at a comfort inn & received a free breakfast & clean towels daily. Extendedstay continues to increase its prices without providing additional services.

We chose this hotel because of its access to the highway, which although a ways out, was still fairly convenient to get to and from Austin. Upon entry, the elevator smelled horrendous, and stayed that way for the first day of our five day stay. It smelled like someone had left a dirty diaper out in the sun to rot. When entering our room it looked like […] they had just mopped the kitchen entry way, which may account for the giant wet spot a few feet away from the bed...either way, a giant wet spot on the carpet was definitely not a welcome addition to the room. Our bedding had been washed, although it had two small blood stains on the sheets and pillow. Also for some reason, the top blanket had a letter F written in bold market on the under side. We were told that since our stay was ONLY 5 days, we would not get house keeping but if we needed anything to ask the front desk. Our room only had one small garbage can, which got full pretty quickly. The continental breakfast consisted of coffee, otis spunkmeyer muffins, granola bars and some apples. The only major complaint here was that the extended stay branded coffee cups were poorly made and would scald your hand as you held the coffee. No outer coffee bands were available. The muffins were effectively pure sugar. Overall, I probably would not book at an extended stay hotel again. Continua a leggere

Extended Stay America offers exactly what is needed - a clean, comfortable room at a cheap price. The hotel offers very few amenities but for sleeping, watching TV, and surfing the net, the place cannot be beat for the cost. The kitchenette is nice to have simply for the refrigerator. The staff is very courteous.

If you have to stay more than one night I recommend you go elsewhere!!! I have never known a hotel that does NOT have housekeeping, the only way you can have a housekeeper come to your room is if you pay extra that's crazy. You have to go turn your old towels in before you can get more. No problem for me because I went to Target and bought towels because […] there towels were too rough to use. You had to hold the toilet handle the entire time for it to flush and it was extremely loud. I had sugar ants that were on the cabinets. Just not a good quality hotel for a weeks stay. G Tex Ball, the general manager is awesome. our stay was very nice. when we left I neglected to get all items out of room. when we were already back home in Dallas, I realized I was missing the case. I called the hotel and explained what happened. Mr Ball offered to fed ex the item to us, we just first had to complete a form he faxed to us authorizing […] him to charge our cc for the fed ex package. we got the package within 24 hours. he didnt have to offer to do that, but sooo glad he did! I loved it! Felt like I was home with the kitchen and it was SUPER CLEAN! I go to Austin often to visit my son in UT. I've been staying in different hotels to compare. This is the WINNER! For now on, I will be staying at Extended Stay America. I will be trying different locations to see if all have the same great service and cleanliness.

It took over an hour to get checked into the room even though there was no line. The employees are incompeten and eat foul smelling food at the check in desk. It is not possible to contact management . The staff do not know how to check you in if you reserve through expedia. I was told that I didnt pay for my third night, even though I had a receipt […] showing otherwise I was locked out of my room on my third night and had to pay for my third night a second time in order to get my belongings out of the room. good bed, nice room, kitchenette equipped well, but i saw a small bug on the floor at one point. Also they don't offer wake up service. you have to use the clock radio, but i couldn't make it work. Luckily i was able to wake up in time each day so it wasn't that much of a problem, but they need instructions for it.

The overall stay was good. The first room was great clean, quiet; that was the first night. The next day after I got back to the hotel, there was a plumbing problem that could not be fixed. They were very polite and gave me another room, so I had to pack up every thing and move to that room. The room was suppose to be non-smoking; it smelled awful. […] So I was given another room. 1. When we arrived the sheets and pillow cases had human hair. Not sure if never washed or just a bad wash. 2. We requested a new set of sheets and those sheets were also full of human hair and smelled funky. 3. I was typing on my lapto and a 1" skinny cockroach started to crawl on my keyboard. The hotel was a very quiet, clean and comfortable place. The staff was very nice. I had a problem and misunderstanding (my fault) about the check out time but that was resolved by the extremely understanding and nice staff.

Stayed only one night here, because everywhere else was full. Good enough as long as you don't expect too much. Room small but clean. Nice TV. Beds okay. Bad points: Shower kind of weak and not real hot. Noise from Hwy on highway side.

When I got there my key card didnt work, got it re-keyed and it still did not work. Got it re-keyed a 3rd time and the staff came up and it still didnt work. After the 4th time she suddenly remembered that the room they had given us used to be used for storage and hadnt changed the locks on it yet. Then when my son turned on the water in the kitchen […] sink it sprayed all over the kitchen. The free breakfast that was advertised suddenly wasnt available for 3 more days. The room was clean enough, The staff was friendly and the Beds are hard has a rock. It was fine for one night. If you would improve your mattresses I don't think its a bad place at all.

Beds are so uncomfortable, you have to ask for shampoo & blow dryers at the front desk. Don't forget an extra pillow here, we asked for 1 more (we only had two) and they were all out?! Not going to go here again, the staff did all they could to help us out, but they can only do what they can if they don't have what they need to help out the guest.

I have stayed at Extended Stay Motels before. This one was clean and quiet especially the bathroom. The only fault I had is that they did not have a hair dryer.

The hotel was relatively clean, but our room and the hallway outside were FREEZING. I'm not exaggerating at all. It had to have been at least 40 degrees in there. We had to turn the heat on to be even remotely comfortable. And speaking of comfort, I have never in my life slept on a harder mattress than the one at this hotel. Not a total dump, but scary clientele. We had our dogs and my husband would not let me walk them alone...lots of police presence, probably because of the drug dealers out back.

Hotel staff was really nice, check in went easily and they came up right away to help me close a window that was stuck open. Room was clean (not spotless but not gross by any means). That being said - hardest bed EVER. Scratchiest sheets EVER. slowest elevator EVER. And if you are on the Hwy 35 side of the hotel, it is very noisy. Staying at Extended Stay America was a good experience. I was in town for training and really would not be hanging out at the hotel. So all I needed was a clean room and a comfortable bed. For the price, you can't go wrong. It isn't a 5 star hotel, but it isnt a dive either.

The staff was welcoming. The room spacious. The windows are double paned to keep highway noise out and they open to let the breeze in. Full size fridge. Near to target.
