Il ns. aereo e' atterrato alle 23:00, arrivati in hotel alle 23:30 e alle 23:45 eravamo gia' davanti a un ottima 'cana con tapas' in Alameda de Hercules, piazza piena di locali a 2 passi dall'hotel Cervantes.

Recensito da un utente di Hotels.com in data 30 gen 2013Visto il prezzo economico dell'hotel, direi che siamo stati mediamente soddisfatti. Le stanze sono piu' piccole e piu' vecchiotte di quello che sembrano dalle foto. La colazione c'e', ma e' scarsina, in piu' ci sono pochissimi tavolini disponibili, rispetto alle camere, e durante il nostro soggiorno c'era un gruppetto che monopolizzava a lungo tutti i tavoli (quindi si è mangiato in piedi). Nella descrizione dell'hotel è scritto che nelle stanze c'è il riscaldamento, in effetti c'è, ma è effettuato con una stufetta a infrarossi a parete, dall'aria piuttosto inaffidabile. Il bagno invece non è assolutamente riscaldato. E' scritto inoltre che in bagno c'è l'asciugacapelli, ma non è vero (è necessario chiederlo in reception, e non sempre è disponibile). E' anche scritto che la struttura offre trasporto gratuito da e per l'aeroporto, e la stazione, ma una volta in albergo ci hanno detto che non e' cosi'. Per il resto, il posto è mediamente pulito, il personale gentile e la posizione OTTIMA. Si trova al primo e secondo piano di una casa, senza ascensore, quindi non e' adatto a chi a difficolta' a camminare/salire scale.

L'unica cosa negativa è il fatto che le camere hanno un'esposizione che affaccia al cortile interno e spesso non sono luminose. Comunque per il resto, ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo, lo consiglierei.

"Hotel Inglaterra - ottima posizione, servizio deludente"
l'albergo è in una posizione ottima, centralissimo e anche bello. Le stanze molto belle e comode, peccato per la poca gentilezza del personale. Forse sono stata sfortunata ma la sera in cui ho pernottato c'era una cena in hotel ed è stato impossibile riposare fino alle 2 di notte. Dopo la cena, il personale ha rimesso in ordine tutto facendo un caos […] intollerabile; mi sono rivolta alla reception ma non è cambiato nulla. La mattina dopo nessuno si è scusato per il disturbo. é veramente impressionante la poca professionalità. Though very simple outside this hotel has very nice interior. Service is quite good. But the room lightning was very dark. Even with all lightning equipment on it was difficult to read. Shower head was old and too dispersing. And beds are too shaky and matrasses are too soft. Maybe it is the old English style but now the time is different. The hotel's location couldn't have been better - situated at the junction of the main thoroughfare and the old town maze of tapas bar lined alleyways. Coming from the airport was so easy - airport bus (very cheap) to San Sebastian terminus and from there by tram (very cheap) to the end of the line in Puerta Nueva square. great lacation, is the best i can tell for the hotel, the building is too old, a lot of failures in all the rooms, the rooms are too small, the bathrooms are too old, we have a bad experience with air conditioned, it does not work in two different rooms and with electrical system, failed 2 times in all hotel. the description (expedia) tells there free […] wifi, there was only at the lobby and does not work too, of course there is no routers for the rooms. the personal very good and kind but the structure don,t help them. definitely s not a 4 stars hotel. I was extremely disappointed why tripadvisor rated this hotel so highly. reasons why i give this hotel a big thumbs down-1)Hotel Facade looks rundown 2)the hotel sign was partly unlit. a sign of wear and tear 3)waited at lobby for 20 minutes to get hotel clerk who spoke english to get off the telephone and help us. we gave up and resorted to other means […] to help us with driving directions to the freeway. 4)hotel has a musky stale cigarette smell. another lady complained off the same and was told that smoking is prohibited. ok- so the smell from long back still exists! 5)breakfast buffet was staffed very poorly. this hotel thru our entire holiday in spain had worst breakfast food options. only sliced bread. huge chunks of watermelon placed on trays. how about cutting them up in smaller slices! The location is excellent on one of the main squares. The rooms are of a good size, clean and well decorated. But the service is not all it could be. I booked a room with a balcony for three nights I arrived to find that I was put in a room without a balcony. I complained and showed my documentation stating clearly that I had booked a room with balcony. […] Those rooms were full. Mistakes happen. A great hotel would simply admit the error, apologise and suggest some compensation (even just a free breakfast) until they could move me into a correct room. Instead, this hotel tried to say that I was in error, hotels.com were in error, or anyone else but them. I had to fight to get it recognised that I had booked a room with a balcony and to get an assurance that I would be moved the next day. There was never any apology or any admission that they were in the wrong. There were no English language programmes on digital TV. Although no information was given in the room, it was possible to get BBC World (as the only English channel) on the non-digital channels, but the reception was so poor that it could not be watched for long. Wi-fi does not work in the rooms, and only just works in part of the common areas. They do supply a cable if asked, but I could not get that to work either. While I was there lots of frustrated people were trying to get wi-fi on their laptops, and the problem seems to be longstanding, but nobody seems to care. A mixed experience, which I think on a good day could be very pleasing however, we clearly caught the reception team on a bad day. The main receptionist upon check in couldn't be bothered to look at us, let alone converse or tell us anything about the hotel. Secondly despite one of our party paying for a superior room via Expedia, he allocated a standard […] room to them. Everything was just too much trouble. Room was good. Breakfast was excellent and the staff too were very good. The main bar was exceptionally busy and the drinks were appalling, flat beer and flat coke. Roof top bar has excellent views, although not advertised in the hotel, so we only found it by mistake. Drinks in that bar are over priced. They were not helpful in providing recommendations, and when we asked for their help to book a flamenco show for us in the evening, they not only tried to up-sell us to a different show but also tacked on a 5-euro additional […] charge to the ticket price of the one we wanted. Great experience! The fron desk staff was a little stiff, but helpful when needed. The location was great as was the room. They upgraded our room during check-in. Our room was large with beautiful wood floors and an overall great experience. The beds are tough, as we've found in all the hotels we stayed in while in Spain, but otherwise unremarkable. The […] location is within 3 minutes of all the action--this was perfect for my wife and as we could walk everywhere we wanted and clean up before going out to dinner, but not have to deal with the noise/issues of the late night crowds. This place is on the main square and a block from this town's paseo. It is a short walk to the two main tourist sights and is spitting distance to the tram. Great location to walled city if you do not wish to stay in the old city but lacked decent restaurant and the beds were like sleeping on rocks. If I went back would probably stay at the EME Fusion or the Alfonso XIII.Recensioni obiettive Hotels.com

"Centrally located"
Great value for the money. Centrally located, although Seville's tourist area is not widespread, it was probably our "third choice" out of the 6 hotels we stayed at while travelling throughout the eastern half of Spain. We had trouble finding the hotel in the car, as one way system, but when we did, a pleasant guy parked it in the car park for us and brought it to us when leaving, and helped us with luggage. We asked if it was possible for a room overlooking the square, and Carlos on reception was very helpful and gave us a very nice room, and was helpful with directions, […] etc. We didn't eat there, as prefer to go locally for coffee and croissants for breakfast and sit outside. Location of the hotel is excellent. In fact, it is its biggest asset. Rooms are good size. The furniture is dated. Sheets, blankets, towels and matresses are about 3-star standard and not 4-star. They have free internet that works only with cable. Wifi is only available in the lobby. All in all it offers comfortable stay. I loved the hotel, great condition luxury hotel and they treated us like royalty. The location is perfect for sightseeing and good for sleeping. the room was superb, excellent value for money, although they had internet in the rooms wiht a cable, the wifi was available in the lobby and common areas and they made up for it in the superb room they gave […] us. hard to beat this location, plus it has onsite parking for a reasonable rate (if you are driving and want to stay in the 'center' like we did, it's really hard to find a good hotel with parking-- actually almost impossibe). the hotel is in excellent condition, the rooms are super big for euro standards, overall hard to beat this price/location/quality! Located in Plaza Nueva, so very close to downtown! I've been ther with my husband for 1 night and then we left to visit Granada and then we came back again for the last night in Sevilla. The second night of our visit to Inglaterra Hotel, the room and the bathroom were very large and comfortable. The hotel is clean and nice.
