Hotel staff most helpful. Room was small but very usable. TV was antiquated with only one English channel. Buffet breakfast provided - very adequate.

We really liked the ambience and location of this hotel.

The positives first. Extremely well located for walking to all attractions around Salzburg and convenient 15 minute stroll from main train station. Our double room was very spacious and ensuite size ok. Comfortable bed and everything in good state of repair. An attractive breakfast room with standard selection. Top of range 3 star hotel. Despite the […] positives, I would never stay there again or recommend it for other than a one night stay. The hotel is next to a church whose bells toll every 15 minutes from 6am-10pm with occasional extra and lengthy serenades. No room could be spared. Also some 12 of the 25-30 rooms are street facing and despite double windows, nearby restaurants and bars are sometimes noisily patronised until 1am. Revellers returning home can be heard in the street at any rime until sunrise. Delivery trucks arrive before 6am so impossible to keep windows open. If going out late, sleeping through the day would be impossible despite how much you had drunk! Forget sleeping in late at this hotel. Rooms are not air-conditioned but corridors are, I do not understand the logic. No room refrigerator and our room safe was not secured, pick it up and take it with you! Wifi only works in lobby. A little hard to find if travelling by train and bus. Taxi would be fine. Fantastic location with helpful and friendly staff. The hotel is old, but clean and comfortable.

Good service, nice breakfast, good location for sightseeing. However, if you pick this hotel make sure you request a room facing the back of the building. The first night we had a room facing the street and local bars are very loud and we couldn't sleep well. Keep in mind that rooms have no A/C so you need to live the window open. Nice hote and good location. Evertyhing was on walking distance. Service great and breakfast excellent. Street could be load at night since some bars in the area. Try to request a room facing back to avoid noise. No /C in the rooms could make summer time though. Good hotel though

We had started off on a very bad foot as when we arrived, at about 11pm there was no one there and the glass doors were locked. We couldn't find a key card to unlock them. We called on the call box and were told that they person was on his way. After several calls and 1 hour later a security guard came and finally another 1/2 hour we got into our room. We […] told the front desk the following morning and they were very apologetic giving us a free dinner in the old city at their sister hotel. The dinner was really great! Other than that the service was great, breakfast was good with lots of selections that I could eat having Celiac. We had a view of the cemetery looking straight down to Constance Mozart and Leopold Mozart's grave so it was very quiet. Just make sure that, if possible, you get there before 6pm when the person at the front desk leaves. Had a very uncomfortable single room, which was not what I would class as a Superior Single. Mattress uncomfortable, only offered one pillow which had seen better days and offered no support. There are other, nicer rooms available so you might get lucky. Bathroom light would never turn off. WiFi only available in reception, and arrangements are not […] conducive to make want guests stay in that area. breakfast was mediocre and unappealing.. Service on the front desk was patchy - the woman on the desk weekday mornings was lovely, the staff in the afternoons and weekend were rude and unfriendly. Really marred my otherwise lovely stay in Salzburg, just would dread going back to the hotel. if you want to stay in this part of town there's a far better hotel just around the corner which I would recommend in a heartbeat. Overall, a good bargain and pleasant stay. On the plus side: Our room was big enough and had two chairs. Bathroom was larger than we expected for an older hotel and had newer tile. Above average continental breakfast with shaved salmon as a plus and it also had a toaster. Located on a pedestrian street with charming old buildings about two blocks from […] the old town. Negatives: Our street side room was occasionally noisy with pedestrians throughout the night up until 2-3 am. Also, the hotel is next door to a church will a functioning bell tower (we found that to be a pleasant sound though). During our visit we found the Internet service to be poor (routinely not available in evenings and out of service two days). Staff not the friendliest but helpful when asked. Comfortable hotel in the midst of a pedestrian district. Great spacious room, great quiet neighbourhood and great service provided by the staff including a fantastic served breakfast. The location was fantastic. The breakfast was very good and the hotel had a great ambiance. The room was surprisingly large for European hotels BUT the mattress was terrible! I actually ended up sleeping on the sleeper couch and not in my hotel bed. Nevertheless, I greatly enjoyed my stay.

Zentrale Lage in der Fußgängerzone der Altstadt neben der Kirche Sankt Sebastian, auf deren sehenswertem Friedhof sich das Grab von Familie Leopold Mozart befindet. Αλλο δωματιο περιμεναμε και αλλο πηραμε.Το wi-fi δεν λειτουργουσε στο δωματιο παρα μονο στο lobby.Το πρωινο μετριο αλλα καλες ωρες προσβασης.Ζεστη στο δωματιο πολυ καλη.

Haben zwei Zimmer bestellt. Erst bei Ankunft wurden wir darüber informiert, dass eines der Zimmer überbucht war. Uns wurde eine Alternativ-Lösung angeboten, die mehr recht als schlecht war!Somit sind waren wir mit dem Service überhaupt nicht zu frieden!

Réserver et payé une chambre supérieur mais à l'arrivée logé en chambre standard sans la moindre compensation ! et même récriminé pour oser réclamer ! Hotel fermé passé 18h ! Si vous perdez ou vous faites voler votre clé magnétique ou qu'elle se démagnétise (ce qui nous est arrivée pour 1 sur 2), vous coucher dehors... Je rappelle qu'il s'agit d'un […] 3 Etoiles... Une capote sous le lit, un réparateur qui entre dans votre chambre même avec l'écriteau rouge, parfois de l'eau chaude, mais pas toujours... etc. Charmant et bien situé mais essayez ailleurs... Небольшой отель фактически в центре старой части города.Город разделен рекой на две части.Отель на менее загруженной стороне от туристов.До самого центра старого города 10 мин пешком.Очень хороший завтрак.До обеда можно без проблем гулять по городу. Персонал (а я думаю отель частный и семейный) очень доброжелательный.На следущий день после приезда было […] день рожденье.Утром посадили на завтраке за отдельный ими же оставленный в резерве стол и преподнесли бутылочку шампанского. Обычные двухместные номера лилипутские.С низкими потолками и советской сантехникой.Окна выходят на кладбище при церкви.Проблема с колокольным звоном по утрам.Соседнее здание - церковь.После 18-00 на ресепшн нет никого.Супириоры совсем другое дело.Если бронировать двухместный то не меньше супириора.Твердая трешка+ по европе. Das Hotel liegt im Herzen von Salzburg. Die bekanntesten Sehenswürdigkeiten sind einfach zu Fuss erreichbar. Die Zimmer sind eher klein, aber sehr liebevoll und originell eingerichtet. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr reichhaltig. Sehr gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis.

Sehr schönes altes Hotel in zentraler Lage und schönen Zimmern, sehr sauberem Bad und netter Terasse zum Friedhof. Leider war gerade das Rupertifest, daher die ganze Nacht voll mit Lachen und Krachen von lustigen Leuten. Sonst klein und fein.

Das charmante Hotel hat eine wunderbare Lage am Rande der Altstadt & die Zimmer sind stilvoll eingerichtet - immer wieder gerne!

Vi kom med bil och hotellet var lite svårt att hitta då det låg utmed en gågata. Den utlovade parkeringen var i ett parkeringshus i närheten. Enligt uppgift stängde receptionen kl 18 och det var ren tur att vi var där innan.

Eingangsbereich könnte einladender gestaltet werden, was auch für den Aufzug gilt. Im Douchebereich ist der nasse Boden sehr glitschig. Das queensize Bett bestand aus zwei schmale Betten, die aneinander geschoben waren. Es gab keine Minibar und kein Gestell für Koffer. Das Zimmer war, obwohl minimalistisch, geschmackvoll und mit Ausblick auf alte Gemäuer […] und den Loreto-Friedhof. Continua a leggere

Wir schätzen es mitten in der Altstadt ein schönes Hotel mit grossen Zimmer zu beziehen. Das Amadeus hat alles erfüllt, leider war der Lärm in den Gassen ein bisschen zu laut, johlende Menschen, die Kehrichtabfuhr, die Stassen- reinigung etc. Also empfehlenswert aber mit Ohropax .-)

Wir waren mit dieser Unterkunft sehr zufrieden. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt absolut. Die geschmackvoll eingerichteten Zimmer vermitteln eine sehr angenehme Ambiance. Gepflegt und sauber. Bei einem allfälligen weiteren Salzburg-Aufenthalt würden wir dieses Hotel wieder wählen.

The hotel situation is good, otherwise not so good.

Lille og hyggeligt hotel, fint beliggende i gåafstand fra bymidten. Personalet var venligt og imødekommende. Værelset var også hyggeligt, men der var ingen air condition, så der blev RIGTIG varmt (juli måned). Rengøringspersonalet var ikke helt flinke til at skifte håndklæder og sæbe (en af dagene var der hverken hånd- eller badsæbe efter rengøringen), […] men ellers ingen problemer. Morgenmaden var overskuelig, men ok. Vær opmærksom på, der ingen er i receptionen efter kl 18. Jeg oplevede gæster komme, der ikke var opmærksom på dette og måtte opgive at checke ind... Jeg og andre gæster oplevede også, at vores dørkort var deaktiverede før tid - heldigvis kom vi tilbage fra sightseeing før kl 18 og kunne få genaktiveret vores kort... Der er internetadgang i lobbyen, dog ikke helt stabilt. Ingen adgang på værelset. Ingen minibar på værelset. Generelt var mit indtryk af hotellet trods ovenstående småting ganske fint. Jeg vil dog ikke anbefale hotellet i sommermånederne, medmindre man kan udholde varmen :o) Continua a leggere
