hotel/residence di recentissima costruzione, moderno anche negli arredamenti, camere che sono mini-appartamenti con possibilità di avere la colazione (abbondante e abbastanza varia), pulito, a 100 mt dalla fermata del tram che porta nella città vecchia e di fronte a un centro commerciale con Carrefour e McDonald's (che consente di risparmiare cucinandosi i pasti da soli - c'è una mini-cucina ma completa di tutto, anche microonde, lavastoviglie e piano a induzione). Nel complesso, ben pochi difetti!

Ancorché periferica rispetto al centro di Antibes, ed in un quartiere collinare suburbano ancora in fase di insediamento, l'Hotel - con piccoli spazi comuni ma piuttosto confortevoli - è nella posizione ideale quale punto di partenza per ogni escursione in Costa Azzurra. Non ha attrattive serali, se non - se piace - un grande Bowling con caffetteria a non più di 100 metri. Non sufficientemente segnalato nelle recensioni di altri utenti, a non più di 5 min di auto si trova il parco della Valmasque, con numerose aree attrezzate per pic-nic.

Sostanzialmente positivo, ma è necessario arrivare entro le 20.30. Anche nella pausa pranzo alle ore 12.30 chiude per riaprire alle ore 14.30 (o 15 non ricordo). E' obbligatorio prenotare il parcheggio auto perchè nei dintorni non si parcheggia.
Posizione
In un'area di spiaggia privata, Majestic Barriere si trova a Cannes e offre facile accesso a: La Croisette, Porto di Cannes e Palais des Festivals et des Congres. Nella stessa area sono inoltre presenti: Forville Provencal Food Market e Palazzo del comune di Cannes.

La posizione e' impeccabile, l'hotel e' datato e il personale non adeguato. Camera: spazio normale, mobili con i segni del tempo ( graffiati, rovinati), bagno senza box doccia ( scomodamente nella vasca), comando doccia rotto, presa rasoio non funzionante, teli bagno medi, accappatoi. Personale: addetto al concierge adatto ad una pizzeria (parla al […] telefono urlando, povera privacy), alla richiesta: non c'e' free wifi neppure nella hall? Risposta (poco polite): you MUST pay! everything was great, room, service, location; only dissapointment was the so called private beach, few chaise-longs on a wood deck... no sand , no other amennities.. overall was a good stay

I chose this hotel following high rating reviews and recommendations of the locals. The hotel has recently been renovated so I expected good quality and high level of service. I stayed in standard room and the reception staff told me it was in the renovated part. The bedroom was more or less ok but the bathroom was awfully decorated and equipped - even […] the tap was not working properly. it could be considered decent if it was a bed &breakfast lodge and not a 5 stars hotel. While checking out I told the receptionist about the room. "-Thank you, your opinion is very important to us,"- was the answer. We stayed for three nights and very much enjoyed our stay. Service attitude was very good. The staff was always friendly and helpful (exceeding expectation). Our rooms were comfortable and nice. It was quiet and we slept well. Very good location in Cannes. Do not miss an early morning walk at the Croisette. Breakfast and Bar were very expensive (as […] is the case with this kind of hotels). Visit Cannes many times a year. Majestic is my favorite hotel to stay. Biggest draw is the professional and helpful staff, but also great location and fabulous views, occasionally very flexible rates. Prefer to less well maintained Carlton and Martinez, although both nice enough.

This hotel was recently renovated and what a beautiful place. Location was perfect. Room was a bit small but very beautiful and comfortable. Very grand entrance. Great service. Only down side I think would be with the air conditioning. I think it would have trouble on a really hot day. Otherwise great place to stay.

Mise a part que j'adore les hotels de Barriere, le tarif de la nuit vaut vraiment le coup de y aller !! tout etait parfait sauf le service autour de la piscine, le seul inconvenient est qu'il est au bout de la croisette mais des maneges a 100metres pour les enfants c'est l'ideal

L'ensemble était globalement satisfaisant mais la chambre et la salle de bain étaient très sales. Les prix du bar étaient un peu chers (25 euro la coupe de champagne)

chambres au 6 ème étage, bruit permanent et gênant des ventilateurs situés à l'extérieur au niveau du 2 ème étage, petite douche ( une personne forte ne pourra pas l'utiliser ). par ailleurs qualité du service et propreté sont excellentes .

La ubicacion es muy buena, pero el hotel es muy caro por el tamaño de las habitaciones. Internet, que tenia un caro aparte, practicamente no funciono en nuestro caso y el parking es excesivamente caro.

"Majestic, hotel voor de happy few"
Hét hotel van het filmfestival, waar veel chique publiek op af komt. Voor de deur de duurste auto's. + De ligging is perfect + de lobby prachtig en stijlvol + personeel iha vriendelijk en servicegericht + prima bedden -de standaardkamers zijn bijzonder klein, onze kast kon niet eens helemaal open, de deur botste tegen het bed en daardoor lades in de […] kast ook niet(terwijl de gangen bijzonder breed zijn) -service is goed , maar voor 5 sterren verwacht je beter: We hadden eenpersoonsbedden gevraagd, maar dat kregen we in eerste instantie niet, Kostte veel tijd om dat veranderd te krijgen. De shampo en badgel werd niet automatisch aangevuld, pas als je zelf om nieuwe vroeg. Eenmaal waren er bij thuiskomst geen handdoeken -via hotel.com kun je soms tegen goed tarief een kamer boeken. Maar voor Hollandse begrippen is bijzonder vreemd dat vervolgens werkelijk alles veel extra geld kost: een zonnebed op het privéstrand enkele tientjes per dag!! Bij zwembad iets minder. Ontbijt over de 30 euro, fittness en internet moet je ook betalen -onderhoud ook niet perfect: het lekte in onze badkamer, dop van het bad kapot, de , waarschijnlijk leidingen, in het hotel maken heel veel kabaal , ook s nachts. -Als je er niet zo chique uitziet word je toch ietwat anders behandeld dan de gasten in een duur pak Kortom, eigenlijk een hotel voor mensen met veel geld die status belangrijk vinden óf mensen die eens eenmalig in zo'n soort hotel willen zitten. Très bel hôtel, bien situé, le personnel est très serviable. Seul petit bémole il n'y a pas de jacuzzi au SPA et peu de chaisse longues à la piscine.

Le Fouquet's restaurant "honteux" 40 € un plat papillote poisson en-dessous d'un surgelé grande surface! Pas de vin Bordeaux au verre. Commandé un apéritif au bar terrasse, jamais servi, oublié! Mon forfait incluait le PDJ : refusé, j'ai […] été obligée de téléphoner à hotels.com pour l'obtenir. Séjour de 4 nuits à plus de 2000€ avec un diner horrible = je fais une grande croix sur cet hôtel Barrière qui hélas a perdu de sa superbe et est devenu le supermarché de l'a-social. "Majestic Marriere - Mitt i smeten"
Riktigt fint hotell, bästa grejerna är poolområdet, läget och den pampiga entren. Också väldigt bra och vänlig service med hantering av bil, bagage och annat. Lite synt att inte strandbäddar på egna strandklubben ingick i priset..

My Family and I stayed on the Majestic Bariere for 5 nigths in end October. I was a very pleasant stay at a very nice hotel with superb location. The service and the generel standard was very high. I would strongly recommend this hotel.

Vi var glade for opholdet på selve hotellet, men på den til hotellet tilknyttede strand med mole, restaurant, og hvilestole m.v. oplevede vi ikke sammen service som på hotellet. På trods af mange ansatte var det svært at få reserveret stole og nærmest umuligt at få bestilt mad og drikke - ærgerligt, for stolene var jo dyre nok!
