Per una cinquantenne come me certo ogni tanto le molte giovani sono un po' rumorose ma per il costo si può davvero sopportare...

Recensito da un utente di Hotels.com in data 8 nov 2012Buona opzione per chi abbia voglia di passare qualche giorno a Chicago a prezzo ragionevolissimo senza restare rintanato in camera (si veda più in là). L'hotel (forse meglio chiamarlo Motel) ha una posizione ideale, è a 10 min a piedi dal centro, a 2 passi da 2 linee di Metrò e facilmente raggiungibile in auto. Camera parecchio fredda per via del riscaldamento renitente (soggiorno in novembre). Ci tornerei! Di fronte alla reception baretto "caratteristico"con colazioni su misura

Camera stupenda, ampia, confortevole, bagno moderno e bellissimo, vista meravigliosa su chicago (sia dalla camera che dalla vasca da bagno/doccia), posizione veramente perfetta per visitare qualsiasi cosa, davvero nel cuore della cittá. Per contro personale poco cordiale e non troppo gentile, e diversi guasti riscontrati nella camera (riscaldamento, […] ecc) anche se prontamente risolti. Everything was great for the most part - I only have a couple of comments. The parking rate of $50/night was entirely too high for someone staying in the hotel for several nights. I attended a conference at the Fairmont Hotel - the room rate at the Hard Rock was better, so I decided to stay with you. However, by the time I added $50/night for parking […] - it didn't make any sense. I could have stayed at the Fairmont and been in the same place as my meetings. The Fairmont parking rate was $30/night for conference attendees. The phone in my room was nonfunctional which was a bit of an inconvenience and there were no snacks in the room. "Right in the heart of the city"
Great location for a starting point. Within walking distance of many attractions and transportation. The staff was very helpful and accomodating. The price was great. This was possibly the worst hotel I've stayed in. The rooms are not individually climate controlled, so the open window functioned as the AC. The hotel is not well maintained and on the "dumpy" side. Hotel was in the ideal location for our needs: close to Union Station and Ogilvie; steps to buses for museums. Cabs are always plentiful. Countless restaurant options. 7-11 across the street. It was unfortunate that they stuck us (mom traveling with 5 yr old son) next to the elevators, where we could hear each and every movement of the three elevators […] on that bank. Immediately comped us b'fast when front desk made an error on room number at check in and our key didn't work. So that was nice. Would definitely stay there again for convenient location. "Great hotel with a few drawbacks"
I especially liked the vibe in the hotel, with a great hotel bar that is frequented by locals as well as hotel guests, great musical atmosphere all around the hotel, and you can even borrow a guitar and jam in your room for free (safety deposit required). The room itself was ok, but nothing special, king bed and large empty space with no furnishings […] or anything in it, and water pressure was a bit low in the shower. The main problem I had with this hotel is internet access. In these days many people have more than one internet-accessing devices, yet these guys charge a large amount for internet access, and the biggest issue is that this access can not be shared across several devices! So I had to pay separately for internet access in my laptop, tablet and phone. This is just unacceptable, and for this alone I might not stay in this hotel again. "We will be back!"
My wife and I spent the weekend here for our five year anniversary, and we couldn't have been happier with the staff, hotel and location. It is right in the heart of Chicago! Staff was very accommodating with everything. We stayed in the tower sweets and had a great view of the Chicago River right by the Chicago Tribune, Trump Building and many other […] wonderful / beautiful buildings. We will be back!
