Hotel was nice and clean and the hot breakfast was much better than other hotels in the area.

Our family recently traveled to Cortland for a weekend of skiing, we stayed at the Hampton Inn, It was a great place, the people, the atmosphere and the food there was wonderful!! I recommend the Hampton Inn for anyone that is going to stay in or near Cortland.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn Cortland to do some wine tasting in the Ithaca area the next day (all hotels in Ithaca were booked for an apple festival). It was a short 30 minute drive to our destination. Hotel was comfortable, clean, and worth the rate.

The hotel is very nice but we had some problems with the breakfast in the morning being cold. I notified the staff and they gave me some excuses. This would not have been a big problem except that the same thing happened the next morning - cold breakfast again.

We had a few hiccups when we were checking in but the manager went over and above resolving the matter - we would definitely stay there again.

This was a very, very overpriced stay in a hotel that is in generally decent shape! The wireless didn't work the first night, the room phone was broken, and to top it off there was virtually no sleep to be had in the room we had! it was located next to the utility room and kitchen, with loud employees all night, and banging and generally a lot of noise. […] If I had been able to get a different room or hotel i would have left in a heartbeat!! The next AM, breakfast as provided was overdone eggs with sausage that could have only been made by Goodyear. Sad to say, this was the only available hotel in the area for our stay dates. That night, we made them switch us to a different room, and at least we got some sleep, the next mornings breakfast was the same, and in general we were happy to leave the place, and will NEVER go back to it again! Pretty sad, considering the rates were higher than any other Hampton Inn we have stayed at, and the quality was so poor. And to boot, we stay in Hampton Inns a lot when we travel, it is our preferred hotel! The people were good, and tried, but it looks like a lot of corners are being cut to keep this place profitable--NEVER AGAIN FOR THIS ONE--SORRY! This is all facts, not heresay, truth is truth, the place needs renovation, and a staff that doesn't make so much noise in the kitchen--better yet-delete the rooms around the kitchen. On check in we got two sets of keys to two separate rooms, none of them being the room we reserved. After much discussion, we were sent to another room, smelled from cigarette smoke, so they sent us to another room...a handicapped room with no refrigerator, the whirlpool did not drain properly, the shower curtain was short and caused the floor to get […] all wet in the bathroom; the carpet was dirty. Overall I was very disappointed in the service we received. I was tired and "put up with" the headaches. I simply will not go back. We were also promised a 15% refund on our room rates with an accompanying ticket stub from a nearby theater, but because we reserved our room through hotels.com, they would not give us the 15% rebate. We had three rooms and no one got the rebate. They did nothing to satisfy the customer. I expected so much more. Continua a leggere

Hotel was neat and clean. Checking in and out took almost no time and everything we asked for was given immediately. A great place to stay.

I requested a 6:45 am wake up call, which I did not receive. I was late for a morning appointment which I missed and will have to travel back to cortland again over the next few weeks.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, really like the hotel I would recommend it to my friends & family.

Your staff were so very courteous and kind. The breakfast was nice and satisfying. We enjoyed the pool and if we had more time we would have used the fitness room. We slept great and wished we could have stayed longer!! We will be back and thank you for making it a pleasant stay as brief as it was..............kim

Awesome stay at the Hampton in Cortland. We booked a room with a whirlpool - and the whirlpool was gigantic. Nice and clean room. Breakfast was better than I anticipated - omelets, home fries and sausage as well as the other usual continental breakfast items. The evening coffee and cookie snacks were a real treat. Stayed here for a ski trip at Greek Peak with my wife and two kids. Did we ever make the right choice when booking with this hotel. Service was outstanding in every respect. Breakfasts were hearty, evening snacks were very good. Many thoughtful details made for a very pleasant stay. Pool was clean and well maintained with long opening hours. I was staying in the Cortland area with my Nephew for a hunting trip. Normally we would stay at a cheap motel but everything around was taken. So I booked the Hampton Inn and was very glad I did. The staff were wonderful. Every request we had was instantly filled. The cookies they make and 24/7 coffee really are a great addition. In the morning (5:00 […] Am) they had a whole bunch of pastries, cereal and fruit available. The beds were heavenly and even had a large, flat screen TV. We will be back! Continua a leggere

I decided to book a room at this hotel because I needed a break from working and this hotel was PERFECT. It's located next to SO many fast food restaurants and the dessert/snack tables in the lobby are delicious. The breakfast was pretty standard, but still great. The rooms themselves are just FANTASTIC! A widescreen TV and amazingly comfortable beds […] and comforters. The pool was a little small and I wish there was a hot tub, but I don't these things detract from the experience at all. Fué una gran sorpresa para nosotros encontrar tan limpio el Hotel. La recepcionista fue muy amable. Lo mejor de todo es que a cualquier hora de el dia o la noche tienen café caliente para los huespedes así que no tienes que salir de el hotel para comprar un café.
