You can't get a better location in Rome then this. The hotel is right next to the Pantheon which gives you access to a ton of shops and places to eat. Also you are very close to other major site seeing places in Rome. The hotel is a short 5 min walk from a major bus stop area which gives you even better access to get anywhere in the city. The hotel […] staff was friendly and everything was very clean. Only down side was their cleaning chemicals smelled bad if you came back right after they cleaned your room. Also the elevator is on the 1st floor, so you have to carry your everything up at lest one flight of stairs. However I would stay there again. Continua a leggere

Excellent location. The room in the annex was very small, but clean. We only stayed one night, which was long enough because Of the close quarters. Rate was expensive, but you pay for the location.

We stayed here for one night on our way back from Sicily (had to fly out of Rome to get back to the States). Great location on the Piazza della Rotunda. Updated but small bathroom. Tiny room with a queen bed but had the necessities. Room itself slightly outdated (but bathroom had been renovated). Great front desk staff. We booked a room in the Annex […] but got "upgraded" to the main hotel. Literally 10 steps from the Pantheon and walking distance (10 min or less) to Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, and Piazza Navona. We were short on time so wanted to be close to the sights. We also walked to the Colosseum, which was about a 20 minute walk. (From the Colosseum you can hop on the metro to go to the Vatican) The Piazza della Rotunda is lively until late at night (after midnight for certain), so if you're looking for quiet, this is not the place. But we were so tired from walking to see all of Rome's sights in 5 hours, that we fell asleep anyways! Perfect location for fitting it all in- you are paying for convenience.Tons of restaurants steps away. I cannot say enough about this hotel. The location could not be better, being right next to the Pantheon and in the middle of everything. Walking to the Vatican took about 15-20 minutes. The same with Roman Forum area. The room we stayed in was very well appointed with a very nice marble bathroom. The breakfast is located across the square in a cafe […] and was very nice. Lots of choices from breads and rolls to eggs, meat, and cereal. As expected with the location, the price was a little high but well worth it. The hotel staff was absolutely outstanding. They were very helpful with any requests or questions. When we first arrived, we had a misunderstanding with parking being available onsite (NOTE: Even though the description lists free parking, there is none. You have to park in a garage and taxi it into the hotel). The staff were apologetic about the parking situation and gave us a bottle of wine for our troubles. It was a very nice gesture. Overall, I would definitely stay here again. Other than the parking issue, everything was great about the hotel. I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking to stay in the middle of the city. The hotel is great. People are very nice, room clean and comfortable. The only issue, lugging the suitcases up a floor just to get to the lift.

At the recommendation of the Italy Tourism group in NY, it was recommended we stay in this area. I selected the hotel from feedback on line. Let me start out by saying I would recommend this hotel for the location, the hospitable staff and surrounding neighborhood but would like to set expectations that our room was a little small. The view was FABULOUS! But once again, the beds were too hard to sleep on.

The Abruzzi was just 20 yds from the Pantheon, very central and surrounded by amazing culture, cafes and restaurants. Every room has a view of the Pathheon and its Piazza. The staff were very welcoming and most helpful. The room was very comfortable. The en suite was a bit small but it suited our needs for the three days of our stay. Breakfast was served […] in a restaurant across the square - it was great and the staff were very friendly. The hotels was undergoing a make over during our stay, but the workmen were very accommodating and the staff very apologetic. It didn't impact on our stay at all. The hotel was just the business, the location was wonderful and Rome as always was fabulous. We would not hesitate in staying at the Abruzzi again. Continua a leggere

Typical European hotel, small. But the location is great. Although, the hotel has rooms in more than one building. The main building where the lobby is located has rooms that have a view of the Pantheon and look out over the plaza. We got a room in a different building down the street with no view. It was also on a busy street where the noise seemed […] to funnel directly into our second floor room, very noisy. We were directly above the Tazza D'Orro coffee shop. Also, the hot water in the bathroom was barely existent, it literally dripped out of the shower head at times. Continua a leggere

Easy access to great dining and attractions. Cozy walk up with great view of the Pantheon and attentive staff

This hotel is all about location. It is across from the Pantheon, and very close to Piazza Navona and the Colloseum. You can't beat it. The front desk staff were so helpful. Fantastic!

The location could not be any better. We were at the piazza for the Pantheon! could walk to anything anytime.

This hotel has a great location. We had to switch rooms due to faulty AC, however the outside breeze in September was enough to cover the night sleep. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Would book again, for sure.

The hotel is in an ideal location - on the square in front of the Pantheon. The rooms are large for Europe and the staff couldn't have been nicer. They have A/C which is not always the norm in Europe but it is a little on the weak side. I would absolutely return to the hotel.

This is a no-frills hotel if you're used to the typical chains. Instead, you get "authentic Rome" in a location that is perfect for exploring the city. I had a gorgeous view of the Pantheon from my window, as well as the piazza in front of it. The hotel is 2 blocks from Piazza Novona, and central located for walking up to Piazza del Popolo or down to […] the Colloseum and Roman Forum. Front desk staff was very helpful, and helped me devise a plan to see as much as possible in the half day I had there. My room was clean and quaint. This hotel couldn't be any better situation location-wise! It was within walking distance to basically all the hot tourist and night spots. The only issue we had was that the air conditioner left a bit to be desired, however, it was almost 100 degrees out each day... the poor thing just couldn't keep up. Hotelli Abruzzi on sijainniltaan loistava. Olen itse viihtynyt Roomassa aina parhaiten Pantheonin alueella ja hotellin sijainti on unelma. Pantehonilta pääsee kävellen helposti Via Corsolle. Hotelli oli erittäin siisti ja hyvin hoidettu. Viihdyin hotellissa erittäin hyvin ja aion palata samaan hotelliin. Det er vanskelig å skrive en objektiv anmeldelse av et hotell i Roma, lokasjonen i seg selv setter en jo i positiv stemning... Hva sier eiendomsmeglerne? “Lokasjon, lokasjon, lokasjon”. Og det er Hotel Abruzzos fremste styrke. Våkn opp, kikk ut gjennom gardinene og stirr rett inn i Pantheon... Roma er generelt lett tilgjengelig til fots, og et bedre […] sted å starte enn midt i sentrum er vanskelig å tenke seg. Rommet vårt var nesten trekantet, med rikelig plass til 2. Det var i annekset, dvs med egen gatedør, ikke inngang via resepsjonen. Vi har dermed hatt begrenset kontakt med personalet, men det lille vi har sett har bare vært positivt. Ryddig & rent var det også. Vi var litt bekymret for støy midt inne i sentrum, men med vinduene lukket og (stillegående) AC på var det ikke noe problem. Wi-fi var ikke tilgjengelig i annekset (bare hovedhuset), og selv om det var en milliard TV-kanaler, var ingen av dem på verken skandinavisk eller engelsk. Hotellet serverer frokost i form av kuponger til en av restaurantene på piazzaen. Man kan jo vanskelig tenke seg et hyggeligere sted å spise. Men maten i seg selv var ikke mer enn måtelig, og kaffen tror jeg med hensikt var gjort udrikkelig (det finnes jo ellers ikke dårlig kaffe i Italia) - bestill en fersk eller gå i kafeen på motsatt side av plassen for en ordentlig utgave. Velvidende at dette hotel kun havde tre stjerner, så vi alligevel frem til en smule luksus, nu hvor hotellet ligger på en fremragende (og garanteret dyr) adresse. Det fik vi så ikke, men til gengæld fik vi den bedste udsigt vi kunne ønske os! Da vi åbnede vinduet om morgenen kunne vi sige godmorgen til fontænen midt på Piazza della Rotonda. Et kig til […] venstre afgjorde om Pantheon havde åbnet dørene og efter et kig til højre kunne vi se om is-kiosken havde åbnet i en af de mange smalle gader der findes i Rom. Om aftenen kunne vi stå (man sidder ikke så godt i vindueskarmen) og kigge på de mange (rigtig mange) turister, italienske gademusikanter, klovne og gadesælgere der hyggede sig på pladsen. Selve værelset var lille men pænt og meget rent. Badeværelset var også upåklageligt, og havde både hårtørrer og håndklædevarmer. Sengen var ret hårdt for min smag, men det gik. Til gengæld havde værelset den billigste mini-bar jeg nogensinde har set på et hotel. Servicen var upåklagelig, og receptionisten var altid til rådighed hvis der var noget vi ville spørge om eller have hjælp til. Det står klart at det ikke er et hotel man bruger alt for meget tid til at opholde sig på. Til gengæld ligger det så perfekt, at det hurtigt bliver alle pengene værd. Den centrale placering gør at man ikke behøver først at tage bus og/eller metro for at komme ud og opdage Roms små hemmeligheder. Continua a leggere

Et flott hotel med hyggeilg atmosfære. Litt trangt og bær ut og inn kofferter, men hva gjør da det når alt annet er perfekt. Megt god frokost på en liten kafe på andre siden av torget.

Meget sentralt beliggende hotell v/Phanteon, rene rom, god service. Bra frokost i restaurant på motsatt side av piazzaen(80m å gå). Liten heis og variabel kvalitet på Internetttilgang i 5.etg. Alle viktige severdigheter i gangavstand fra hotellet. 50 Euro med hvit(lovlig) taxi fra/til flyplass.

Vi havde et værelse med udsigt til Pantheon og til pladsen foran Pantheon. Værelset var ikke stort, sengen var heller ikke så bred, men madras og pude og tæpper var gode. Badeværelset var også i orden, men heller ikke særlig stort. Morgenmaden blev serveret på en nærliggende cafe, hvor vi kunne sidde og nyde solen og udsigten og pladsen foran Phanteon. […] Morgenmaden bestod af kaffe/te med 2 små boller, en pakke smør, en lille pakke abrikosmarmelade og en croissant. Udemærket, men ikke så meget. Men det blev rigelig opvejet af cafeens beliggenhed. Vores konklusion er at hotellet er OK, og at beliggenheden gør at det var helt perfekt. Continua a leggere

Hotel Abruzzi i Rom ligger super centralt! Man kan gå til alt fra hotelet af, og er derfor ike afhængig af busser mv. Hotellet er ikke så stort, og der er forskel på værelsesstørrelsen. Men et ok værelse, når man kun skal bruge det til at sove på. Sengene var dog meget hårde! Men der var fint rent og et pænt nyere badeværelse med en lille brusekabine. […] Jeg ville helt klart komme igen til hotellet! Morgenmaden foregik på en cafe udendørs cirka 20 meter fra hotellet, og det var alm italiensk morgenmad og en fantastisk kaffe!! Så mit råd er, at hvis det ikke skal være et luksus hotel, så tag Abruzzi, da det ligger super godt og er rent og ok. Continua a leggere

Vi fikk rom i "annekset", som var en bygård ved siden av selve hotellet. Det var nesten nyoppusset og hadde høy standard til å være 3 stjerner (selvom rommet var ganske lite). Hotellet ligger flott til ved Pantheon, sentralt, rolig om natten. God frokost på en cafè rett ved siden av. Kan absolutt anbefales!

Hotellet er absolutt å anbefale. Rommene var av bra standard, beliggenheten suveren. Hyggelig personale, jeg kommer gjerne tilbake!

Hotellet ligger ved Pantheon, og er en perfekt beliggenhet for å kunne gå til severdigheter. Rommet var rent, og personellet i resepsjonen servicemindet. Bor her gjerne igjen.
