E' molto comodo (considerando la cartografia di Venezia) per la visita della città, in una zona tranquilla e vicina alla stazione ferroviaria. Personale cortese e disponibile. Camere ampie, purtroppo la moquette ovunque le rende un po' polverose e per gli allergici può essere un fastidio. La temperatura in camera è settata ai 23 gradi, il climatizzatore […] si può spegnere, ma non regolare. La zona in cui si trova l'hotel é piuttosto tranquilla e caratteristica, ottima se ci si vuole spostare a piedi ma anche semplice da raggiungere per mezzo del vaporetto. La colazione é ottima e abbondante, le camere confortevoli. N.B. Hotel in apparenza defilato come locazione(quindi tranquillissimo anche se frequentatissimo da stranieri),ma in realtà,per chi ha il vero piacere di girare per Venezia su tragitti non necessariamente "turistici",estremamente comodo a tutti i luoghi di interesse in circa 15/20 minuti a piedi. Un simpatico longe bar aperto sino alle 23,30..ed una abbondante […] colazione ricca...un buon rapporto qualità-prezzo per un 4 stelle.. Oltre ad essere a 10 minuti a piedi dalla Stazione,è a 4 minuti dal Ghetto Ebraico,ed in pochi minuti e due ponticelli,ha a portata di "forchetta" un discreto numero di Osterie piacevoli e gustose (..tipo Osteria Beavita,Il Paradiso Perduto,Diana,Gam Gam ebraico..)e subito dopo il Ponte dei Scalzi (Stazione) l'ottima l'Ostaria al Veci Pozzo,senza perdersi un pò più lontano (in Campo S,Polo) la Birraria La Corte...questo per "sottolineare" che si può mangiare "fuori" dai soliti luoghi centrali costosi e non sempreall'altezza.. Ha rappresentato la scoperta di un interessante sestiere di Venezia: a piedi si raggiunge in un attimo il Ghetto, o ci si avvia in una bellissima passeggiata verso l'Arsenale,sede della Biennale.Si scopre la Venezia dei veneziani,meno invasa dl turismo. La posizione e la qualità dell'hotel è soddisfacente ma le dotazioni del bagno non mi sono sembrate all'altezza di un 4 stelle; sempre nel bagno, pur se pulito, ho rilevato il mancato funzionamento del termosifone ed alcune piccole mancanze sulla manutenzione; complessivamente comunque sono soddisfatto.

Hotel accogliente, a ca 1 km da Rialto e S.Marco, e a pochi metri dall'imbarco per Murano e Burano. La Junior Suite è composta da un locale soppalcato con travi a vista molto rustiche e romantiche. Servizi TV scarsini. Nei pressi presenti Supermercato, tabacchi, ristoranti e negozi vari... compreso McDonald's. Possibile trasferimento con taxi, vaporetto […] o gondola. I didn't have to spend my limited time in Venice calling the airport, because the staff was so helpful with contacting the airport for me when my luggage was delayed. The neighborhood is quiet and my suite looked over a less traveled canal, so it was quite charming. Great location in a residential neighbourhood with plenty of excellent litlle restaurants nearby . 10 mins from Madonna D'el orte vaporetto stop and 25 mins walk to Plaza San Marco - 15-20 mins to Rialto . Good value hotel in outer Cannareggio but with Vaparetto station at Santa Avise just three minutes walk. Breakfast very poor quality with possibly the worst coffee in Venice. Having said that, it's a very peaceful location and it benefits from being far removed from the main tourist areas.

Very nice and comfortable hotel right on the canal. You can take a water taxi to the door which was very convenient. The architecture was superb. The breakfast was delicious and had very diverse choices to suit all tastes. The staff - all of them - day or night- were helpful, attentive and extremely professional. We had a wonderful stay.

My friends and I had a lovely time at the hotel. It suited us perfectly. The room was spacious and breakfast was yummy. The staff were friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our three nights there.

The hotel was very nice, as was the staff. It is located a bit far from all of the excitement, but if you don't mind a good walk then that is ok. The breakfast was a bit expensive but the closet cafe was about two "blocks" away and a pedestrian bridge away. The give you a free water taxi to see a murano glass shop in Murano, but then you have to find […] your own way back since we made a large purchase they gave us a free water taxi ride back to Venice. Lovely hotel off the beaten track to give a feel of the 'real venice'. Clean, tidy, functional and well maintained. The only issue was there were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room itself. Whilst not a major issue, it would have been nice to have. The location means you have the opportuity to walk and explore Venice. Rialto Bridge is an […] easy 20 minute walk past shops, cafes and markets. St Marks square a further 10-15 minutes stroll. The hotel doesnt offer the luxury of some of those on the Grand Canal but the money saved means you can splash out on other Venetian experiences. Great service. Good location. 20 mins from Rialto bridge. Downside was that there was no tea or coffee making facility, no iron and no room AC. Far too hot for two young kids!

In a quiet residential location away from the hussle and bustle. Nice escape at the end of the day. Very close to the Vaparetto at St Alvise. Unfortuanetely we had to move rooms on the 2nd night as we were near the reception and suitcase wheels on marble can be LOUD. No problems with the move request. Breakfast at the hotel was superb, cooked or continental […] and as much as you needed to set you up for the day. would definately stay here again and would reccomend it if you want some peace and quiet at the end of a busy day in the tourist areas. Could offer a Wellington Boot service when the tides are very high, fortunately we had purchased some and could get out but other guests were stuck one morning as the whole are was under 6 to 8 inches of water. We enjoyed a great weekend in Venice and found the hotel to be excellent. The value for money exceeded expectations. Staff were always around to help with questions and info also by email before we arrived. The breakfast buffet was a great start to the day with plenty of choice. The hotel was lovely. It is about 30 mins walk from st marks square but this was great as it made us walk through some areas of Venice we wouldn't have otherwise explored. My only critisim of the room was that we has a room in the attic so no view! Breakfast was delicious. We were very pleased with this hotel. The hotel is in a very good position, only a few minutes away from the nearest waterbus stop of S.Alvise, only a few stops from the bus and train station stops. In daylight and with a good map it's probably nearly as quick to walk to the Rialto Bridge and Saint Mark's Square as it would be to ride on the waterbus. […] The S.Alvise waterbus stop is very convenient for visiting the islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello. We bought a 7 day travel ticket with the journey from the airport to Venice for 54 euros each and were able to make good use of it. You get 7 days from the time you first use the ticket. There are plenty of reasonably priced restaurants within a few minutes walk of the hotel. The Reception staff and Breafast Room staff were extremely helpful. The room was cleaned to a high standard although there were some marks on the curtains. We were concerned about the air conditioning having read reviews posted earlier in the year, but can report that it worked very well. Breakfast was available from 7.30 - 11 am. There was a very good buffet of hot and cold, sweet and savoury items. We would be very happy to return to this hotel and would certainly recommend it to others. Continua a leggere

First off, our room was huge!! We were not expecting such a large room in Venice. It was far from pretty much everything. Their was some mis-communication with the hotel staff about the times the restaurant was open, but other than that, they were very friendly. it would be easier to find if Venice bothered to have reasonable, or some, consistent street signs. had a room for 4, our master bed upstairs and had to find our way down inroom stairs to bathroom at nite, barely missing kids bed. Internet never did work, so they made it free, honest! upstairs tv kept going out. Nice clean place tho, had a nice breakfast […] as well, lovely staff. Excellent breakfast, spacious room, helpful pleasant staff with easy to reach vaporetto stops. The location was out of the way of the main tourist areas but with lovely interesting views and canals around so it was quiet and peaceful with a feel of the real Venice. Lovely to get back to at the end of the day. Brilliant for families due to the large […] rooms at the hotel and the availability of a three day vaporetto tickets that made travelling around fun- so being away from the tourist areas became an adventure! Several family friendly places to eat not too far away and cheaper than in the San Marco area. There is also a supermarket five minutes walk away which was a real bonus. The only gripe was the fact that our teenagers, a boy and girl would not share a sofa bed so they had the comfortable twins upstairs while we had to sleep on the sofa bed which had springs and uneven mattress so not very good for getting a restful sleep causing us to wake up quite a bit and feel quite tired. The hotel was well placed in the quieter part of Venice, but near enough for restaurants etc. Lack of a restaurant in the hotel was surprising, but bar was pleasant enough. In general, the room was comfortable but with 2 niggles: sometimes the wait for hot water was up to 5 minutes. Also, for those with a strong sense of hearing, there was a sporadic […] clicking noise heard through the night in the beams above the room. The aircon was effective, if a little noisy. The hotel is situated a good ten minutes from a main street that can take you all around Venice but it's well worth the walk. The area is very quiet and very clean. There are some small restaurants and some stores near by. Inside, the hotel was clean and comfortable, although we did have some trouble getting the AC to shut off. The hotel is very clean with large comfortable bedrooms. the bathroom was spacious with a seperate shower cubicle. Air conditioning was on all the time unless you opened the bedroom windows this was lovely as it was very hot during our stay. Breakfast was from 7.30-11am. The breakfast buffet was very good, wide variety of food incuding, cereals ,fruits, […] meats, cheeses, scrambled eggs, pastries and cakes. hot drink machine with al the usual drinks. the dining room was very clean and you could also eat outside. we did not have the evening meal. the bar was very modern and relaxing and you could also sit outside in the gardened area with benches, tables and chairs. the receptionists were very helpful and knowledgable about the area giving us a map on arrival with directions written on and places of interest circled. Venice can be quite expensive and very crowded in the summer months. Fortunately, this hotel is away from the center yet within walking distance from the central train station and the main tourist attractions. It's also a two minute walk from a ferry station so you can easily hop on and visit other parts of venice and other islands. Restaurants near […] the hotel are better than the ones in the tourist district and are more affordable. The hotel alos has an outstanding breakfast. When we arrived to Venice, it was very hot and and very humid. It felt like it was over 100 degrees outside. I booked this hotel because we it said we would have an air conditioned room. After walking about 20 minutes to the hotel from the train station, we arrived and walked in the doors to the lobby it was EXTREMELY HOT, probably hotter than outside! […] The staff was very nice and upgraded our room to a two story suite with a canal view and the room was amazing, but also 88 degrees (31 Celsius). They did not tell us the air was broke. The bed was upstairs with a fan that was also blowing hot air on us all night. It was too hot to enjoy the hotel. The hotel bar was even hotter!! All the other guests also said their air was broken too. As nice as the hotel was, I would have changed hotels if they would have informed us about the air. This hotel was in a nice quiet part, away from the tourist area but within easy reach of the centre of Venice by vaporetto or on foot.There were some good restaurants quite nearby and it was pleasant just to stroll along the side of one of the small canals stopping for a coffee or a drink. The hotel itself was comfortable with efficient air conditioning […] (it was 32c when we were there)The staff were helpful and were fluent English speakers. Just one word of caution, work out how many euros you believe you need, then double it! Euros flow out between your fingers like water! Used the water buses which were great.
