This hotel was clean and quiet, and we choose this room because it had 2 queen beds plus a pull out queen couch. We needed a room with 3 beds, as our two girls don't share a bed well together. The hotel staff were courteous and responsive when we requested extra pillows and blanket. The sofa bed mattress was uncomfortable. The blanket had a burn hole […] in it. Room somewhat run down; curtain rod bracket half off and lampshades torn. Bathroom was clean and OK. Balcony/porch off the room has view of a cemetery. Continental breakfast not impressive. Older motel, not real clean. Just south of Ithaca so quick to Center Commons/ Ithaca College and Cornell--by car. Very close to Buttermilk Falls. Refrigerator didn't work.
"Excellent quality for a low price"
HBO and free wireless in room. Free breakfast including some hot items. Shower and heat worked well in room. Down side is that location is removed from city center and you cannot really walk anywhere from the hotel. Safe and well renovated inside but outside of hotel could use some attention. Overall a good buy if price is a concern.

Upon entry: 1. Room was freezing cold 2. Found hairs on the sheets. Long dark ones. 3. Ridiculously awful deodorizer smell. 4. Half full can of chewing tobacco in the drawer. 5. "Disgusting"
Room was disgusting. Heat didn't work. Bathroom was filthy. Lights didn't work. We left and got another hotel room.

A pleasant surprise, this Rodeway is run with a professional manner and clean to boot! I was in for business, a clean comfortable room with decent cable and amenities, the breakfast is better than most of the comparable chains with a personal touch too! Strong Wi-Fi signal makes it a slam-dunk for me!! **********A+++++*********
"Not bad."
For the price it is what it is. The sofa bed was horrible and not adequate for a good night's sleep. Internet worked great, lots of parking, not too far out of Ithaca. I'd stay here again but I wouldn't plan on the sofa bed being an option for someone to sleep.

"Nice Motel for business travel"
I needed an inexpensive, clean, warm motel room with a good shower, conveniently located to a business location in Ithaca. This place was perfect! Great shower, good selection of TV channels, warm and very clean. The next time I am in Ithaca for business, this is where I'll stay!

"Would stay again"
We stayed for two nights visiting family. The hotel was fine, a bit run down. The first morning we blew a fuse with the blow dryer and the second night we were there our toilet overflowed. The hotel office needs some updating. Breakfast area is in terrible shape. Not bad for the money though.

We had a pleasant experience with our stay at his hotel. Although it is not plush, it was clean in our room. We had a business class room and it was plenty big enough. The main lobby area could use a face lift to give a better feel to the hotel. Very small and not as clean as our room was. At least our room was clean and that was what really mattered […] to us. The room was clean, and adequate for an overnight stay. However, the walls are kind of thin, so it was noisy through the night as I could hear the comings and goings of folks at all hours. Breakfast was underwhelming, but I didn't have high expectations to begin with.

Road side motel, good for quick stay for one person, seemed to have some bigger rooms. I have stayed twice, one night each time, room was small, clean, comfortable,> Good enough place to sleep and shower for a real low price. Area seemed safe. Close to state park

this place is just okay if you need to use room for sleep and not much else. no bathroom shelves to speak of - 2 very tiny ones. slight odor to the room. place was quiet and seemed quite safe.
The room was clean. Nice place, less than 3 miles from the Commons for shopping and eating. Good place to stay if you're just sleeping. Breakfast was very, very simple-pieces of bread and mini bagels toast and condiments, mini muffins, eggs to microwave, and waffles to toast, plus juice/tea/coffee/milk.

My wife and I found the hotel to be clean, comfortable and affordable. Great hotel for a night stay while passing through.

I was very disappointed in the size and cleanliness of the room. There wasn't much we could do since there were no other rooms available. The bathroom had a pedastal sink with NO counters! You could barely turn around in the bathroom and it was not clean! I would never stay there again and would definitely NOT recommend a stay there.
we stayed for 2 nights. the room was large and the microwave and fridge were wonderfull for a family. it is near the parks. breakfast was very good. we would go back.
"Comfortable stay"
We had a comfortable stay at this hotel. Check-in was very pleasant, the room was clean and smelled nice, breakfast in the morning included muffins, toast, toasted waffles and juice. It's close to some nice swimming holes and hiking.
This is actually a classic North American motel, quite basic but clean and conveniently located near two beautiful state parks. The stuff is friendly but not always helpful when it comes to the real things. Room size is big enough everything in good condition. Free breakfast is acceptable for this kind of motel
This hotel is on a main road right outside of town. So, it's convenient. It seems they are in the process of renovating, which is long overdue. The rooms are clean but cramped. The shower stall had no shelves to place your toiletries. The biggest drawback was the continental breakfast which left a lot to be desired - cold eggs that we had to thaw in […] the microwave, no fruit, no yogurt, minimal options. Good value for the $$ BUT.... The room was clean, but the carpeting was too old & dirty, and I could smell the order of cigarettes even though this was a non smoking room. Wouldn't walk on it without shoes on! If the room had new carpeting it would have been great.

"Little Out of the Way and Pricey, But Will Do in a Pinch"
A last minute weekend college visit, but my regulars were all full, so I ended up here. More or less what I expected...standard motel ambiance with tiny room and monster truck in the parking lot. Relatively clean overall and surprisingly quiet considering the place was full. Location is about two miles outside Ithaca, but still relatively convenient […] to the colleges once you figure out which streets to take. Use a map, as Ithaca's downtown can become a maze of one way streets, twists and turns, most of which can be avoided if you know where to navigate from this motel. "Hot breakfast" consisted of frozen omelets you zapped in a microwave - no kidding - but was still surprisingly edible. Biggest downside was the price--they are charging pretty close to what the other much nicer hotels closer in town are charging. All in all - I don't think I would make this my first (or even second or third) choice, but if everything else is full, it will do in a pinch. Continua a leggere
"Ok for a one-night stay"
We stayed here one night before a conference mtg. It was fine for one night. The room smelled a little bit (not sure what it was). The staff was nice and the grounds were well maintained. This hotel is a bit further out on the road and so you might think you've already passed it before you get there.

"Overpriced for the condition and location"
Motel was hard to find and did not live up to the advertised expectations. Very small and overpriced for the quality that was offered. Our power went out twice when we tried to plug in phone charger, poor electrical wiring? Would definitely NOT return. Sauberes und Komfortables Zimmer geeignet für die Durchreise in eine große Stadt Bemängeln kann man nur die Terrasse die nicht sauber war
