"Holy motel batman!"
Even though the room was non-smoking, smelled like smoke, and smoke alarm was missing from it's location. Shower was dirty. Needed directions to find it along the way, they would not answer the phone on multiple attempts. Coffee maker was broken. Heater didn't get warm enough. Two flat pillows and a nasty mattress. "*GROSS*"
Manager took forever to come to front desk after we had to call him, while waiting there freezing. Place reeked of disgusting curry smell. Then the guy acts clueless and rude. Room was freezing because there is a fairly large space between door and ground (we pushed all of the towels against it and blasted heat and got it to about 65 degrees). Bedroom […] and bathroom very dirty. Shower ran cold after about 6 minutes. Asked for a late check out of 12pm (instead of 11am), which most actual respectable hotels placate but the guy tells us "Ten dollar for hour." We stayed here because it used to be a Super 8 and was VERY well maintained and its literally a mile and a half from Mount Airy Casino. If you can suck all that up bc you want to go to Mt. Airy and not pay $250 for the night then go ahead :) Continua a leggere
"Gross !!!"
Room smelt terrible , like mildew and tobacco ! The shower was filthy and only the hot water worked! I would never ever return to this hotel! Sorry but this place gets two thumbs down, if I had more thumbs they would be down as well.

"Travelodge/Super 8 in the Poconos"
I am not really picky when in come to hotels, and I understand you get what you pay for. But this place was horrendous. It was filthy and we had some kind of animals crawling in the ceiling tiles. They did switch us to another room, but it was just as dirty.

This is definitely not a good place to spend the night. The room smelled moldy, the bathtub had water stains and the toilet backed up and overflowed. The AC unit does not regulate the room temp properly (either ice cold or hot). The signs at the entrance still say it's a Super 8 and the manager says that they haven't gotten around to changing them yet. […] Do yourself a favor and find another place to stay in the Poconos!
