"Impressive customer service"
I was very impressed with the customer service at the Taj Pamodzi from the housekeepers to the restaurant servers. I recommend the hotel to business travelers. The only thing that was difficult is the need for a taxi to get any where. There are no attractions within walking distance.

Very nice hotel with very friendly, helpful and efficient staff. Doormen were very helpful with taxis and advice on places to go.I had one very nice evening meal and one average one. I previously stayed at the Protea Hotel (Arcades) and I found that to be a better location. You'll need a taxi from the Taj to go out anywhere at night. "Nice business Hotel in Lusaka"
I have stayed in the Pamodzi in Lusaka several times and think it's a great business hotel. Spacious rooms, very nice breakfast, and comfortable lounges where one can have meetings and drinks. Finally, the gym, garden and pool provide a nice option to get rid of the stress in the evening. The restaurant at the Pamodzi next to the pool is a great entertainment […] spot! Continua a leggere

Just what I expect from the Taj Chain. Really great staff and complete breakfast buffet, clean comfortable room. It is very irritating to have to pay extra for in-room internet access for the price per room being charged. This also is the same in other Taj Hotels in which I have stayed. The food was a bit of a let down and the restaurants a bit soulless. But otherwise good

Expense hotel for the quality. The reception and lobby are fine but rooms are very old fashioned and in an urgent need of being renovated. Staff is very friendly and available and is certainly an added-value to this hotel.

In terms of comfort and being in a convenient location this hotel is great. The problem for both me and some of the colleagues was that most of the food that we were served from the hotel restaurant was luke warm. At the end of the first day I ended up with stomach cramps and by day 3 I had chronic diahorrea and was completely unwell. Some of my colleagues […] also had stomach cramps. had made a booking on line and after a few day asked if they would add another room and they would not do the same rate , so had to go on line to book it and got the same rate madness it should be done at hotel but No , needs to train staff to think out the box.

TOP quality service, polite, humble, friendly atmosphere.
Hotel service was good. Clean room a little small. Lovely gardens and check in or out was excellent. Restaurant quality OK Breakfest a 4 but dinner was not good at all. Don't order the steak. It was over cooked and when ording the soup it never shows up. Rate restaurant a bad 2.
A good hotel with super friendly staff. It was modernized but rooms remain rather small. At this price level there should be however flat screens with a better TV-reception quality - and please free of charge internet connections. Competition in Lusaka is still lacking. The Taj Cape Town offers for half the price double the luxury

Stayed for 4 nights on a business trip to Lusaka July 2010 Liked - condition of hotel, helpful staff, room, comfort and condition, decoration and condition of public areas and grounds, room service menu - both choice and price, gym - very good indeed, really excpetional, price - quite reasonable. Didn't like so much - restricted menu/buffet in main […] restaurant at dinner, slightly odd payment booth to one side of check-in area, lack of shop selling basics or travel agent (for when I had an afternoon off), charge for wi-fi, shuttle to airport left too early.
