ottimo, la camera era comodissima il personale gentilissimo da migliorare la colazione, gli infissi nelle camere si sentivano troppo i rumori esterni, materassi un po datati e la doccia. Molto comodo per gli spostamenti, zona molto tranquilla comunque sodisfatto.

Situated 5 mins from Corso Umberta and surrounded by a good choice of restaurants. This hotel has a friendly and courteous staff and I believe that all rooms have a sea view and balcony..The breakfast buffet is very good and varied and it caters for special dietary needs, noted were provision for both coeliac and reduced sugar needs. I'm not sure if […] a difference between standard and superior rooms exists, I had booked a superior room but it was, although sufficient, somewhat compact. No complaints and would return. Taormina can be expensive but there is value to be found, try using the little cake shops off the main street, one at the very top of the town on the road to Castlemola, worth a visit. I thought everything about it was brilliant. Location, service ect. all good. Short walk up to main street through little narrow streets full of cafes and shops. Only thing to be careful of is the narrow trail down the side of hotel that leads down to the train station, don`t do it except you are in the best of health it is dangerous.
Great central location without any traffic noise; spacious room with large balcony and wonderful view. Restaurant also has wonderful views of sea and Etna. Staff were very charming. Pool seating was very well managed. Would highly recommend this hotel The location would not suit someone with problems walking up steep roadways.

This hotel is in a perfect location to explore the sites of Taormina. The views from the pool are amazing and all rooms have a sea view. We stayed here for 10 days on a b & b basis in June 2011. The bufffet breakfast has a pretty good selection with various cerals, cheeses, fruit & eggs. There are also a good few restaurants to choose from nearby. In […] particular I would recommend the little restaurant at the top of the hill (come out of the hotel turn right and climb approx 35 steps) it is very good value and also has amazing views. Giovanni (the pool attendant) is also very nice and cannot do enough for you. I would throughly recommend this hotel to others and a trip to Taormina! We will definately return. Continua a leggere
"Has to be one of the bst hotels in Taormina"
We stayed here for one week in August 2010 with our two children aged 13 and 10 after reading all the reviews. It was FABULOUS. the location was ideal, 2 minutes from the centre street but just far away to not hear any noise (the main drag is very busy and noisy) the hotel clings to the cliffside so the views are stunning down to the clear turquoise […] water. The glass elevator adds to the fun. Rooms are clean and stylish and great AC contolled by you. Beds are huge. The pool is wonderful, check out the liitle "portholes" in the side and get a view of the sea below you. the poolman cannot do enough for you and there was always enough loungers even if arriving at 3pm after a day out. A litthe poolside bar for lunch was lovely. Breakfast ... well what can i say, the most amazing choice I've ever seen, all fresh each day. It is a quite hotel, I'd avoid it if you have young children or noisy children (ours are not) and there is a steep climb from the hotel door t the main street but only equivalent to 2-3 flights of an M&S escalator say - fine ofr young and fit people, but not for elderly or infrim or for pushchairs. You do not need a car in taormina. We ate out in town every night, so cannot comment on the restaurant for lunch and dinner. We felt we'd found a real gem - book without hesitation or worry! Fantastisk flott beliggenhet, med sjøutsikt og kort vei til sentrum. Et flott sted å bo for å oppleve Taormina.

"Hotel Monte Tauro-udsigt og tæt på bykerne"
Hotellet ligger med en dejlig udsigt,og tæt på byen.Det er muligt at parkere ved hotellet,selv om det for en dansker kunne synes umuligt. Personalet venlige og servicemindede.Svømmepølen fin og ikke overbefolket da vi var der i juli.Og dejligt med en lille terasse.Vi rejste med 3 store børn,og de blev opgraderet til en suite med bedre plads. Men ikke […] egnet for gangbesværede eller hjertelungesyge.Hotellet ligger på en stejl bakke man skal op ad,omend kun 50 meter,før man er i byen. Continua a leggere

een schitterende ligging zicht op zee en etna. schoon, mooi hotel. gezellig plaatsje met goede uitwijkmogelijkheden voor excursies, etna liparie, catanie, gole de alcantara etc.

Die Aussicht auf die Bucht ist einmalig (insbesondere von der obersten 6. Etage. Der Balkon ist auch sehr schön (Richtung Süden), leider keine Liegestühle. Poolbereich sehr klein aber o.k.
