Arrived at hotel 2hrs early and they wanted to charge me $10later to check in to early but they weren't going to charge that to my girlfriends mother who was in in line before me. Them, while I talking to the lady at the front desk, she answers her PERSONAL cell phone in middle of my sentence. I looked at her and she then told whoever it was that she […] had to go. Her whole attitude during the process was bad. I left and came back a few hours later ans checked in with someone else who was much nicer to deal with. I had the suite on the s/e side so the veiw wasn't at all good, but the room was nice. The pool was great but they had to much chlorine in it and they had to close it for the rest of the day that I was their. "Exremely Nice Clean Hotel Conveniently Located."
Staff was courteous and bilingual. I was extremely pleased with how clean and nice the room was. Everything was in working order. It was super hot the days we were in Delano; it was nice to have an air conditioner that was adjustable and that worked properly. Bathtub is nice and deep, shower head was powerful, water ran perfectly. We stayed at a non-smoking […] room and really was non-smoking. Continental breakfast was pretty good, it was not just coffee and muffins. It consisted of waffles, eggs, muffins, toast, bagels, fruit, juice, not sure what else. We will definately be staying here every time we visit. The hotel also has an indoor pool, sauna, and jacuzzi which we didn't get to check out, definately will go swimming next time. "Close to freeway but not noisy"
I have never given the best number to any hotel or motel, but this one is above average. Nice clean room, friendly staff, and my verizon cell phone had full bars so I didn't have to hook up to their wifi. Contential breakfast above average, hot and cold cereal, coffee, milk, orange juice, yogurt, cook your own waffles. If i'm back in the area again […] I will stay here. "Watch Out for Extra Charges!"
Incredible, but True! I was charged an extra 89.09, and the "Manager" did not know why..Really? Thanks to my IPhone, I was able to show "The Manager" the extra charge credited to my Bank Acct. She said it was not showing up on my room account,and doubted it was a ''Real Charge".."What part of 89.09 is not real!!?" was my response...She kept MAKING UP […] reasons it could have been charged and had the gall to tell me not to worry.. Wow.....Great "Customer Service" manager! Do you practice that in the mirror every morning? Do yourself a favor, IF you HAVE to stay in Delano, by all means, Avoid this Hotel. "Not too bad"
The staff here was very nice, polite and tried to be as accomodating as possible. The location is great being right off the freeway. The room itself was quite nice. Clean bedding, floors and bathroom. Don't sit anything on top of the cabinet though. In my room it was fairly dusty- yuck. Also, whatever you do, don't trip near air conditioner. I did, […] injured my knee and landed on top of a clear plastic barrier thing they had attached to it and ended up being charged $20 for it! I am still uncertain how I feel about that. I will be staying with them again this weekend and will decide at that time if I will come again or, go to their competition as I will be coming down two days every month and want a hotel I really like if I'm going to be spending that kind of time and money on. The breakfast was adeqate. Nothing spectacular and honestly, could use a little improvement. The sitting in that breakfast area sucks- I ate in my room. Excellent, everything except they advertised HEATED indoor pool and NO it was not heated, very cold, made it in as far as my billy button, thats why we took a room there, heated indoor pool, I would have stayed somewhere with heated pool even if it was outdoors.. The room was clean, there were no elevators but at least it was only 2 floors. Their "continental breakfast" was not much at all, the coffee smelled like cigarette ash. We were there on business only. Clearly a truker's stop. I've been to other Best Westerns and have always been statisifed. "Best Western Liberty--clean and comfortable."
Nice clean place to stay in Delano. Staff courteous; no surprises, really--it is a reputable chain hotel. Beds were very comfortable. It has already been noted that there is no elevator--kind of a drag if you have a lot of luggage. Handicapped rooms are downstairs. My daughter and I stayed at the Best Western Liberty Inn over Mardi Gras weekend. The room and service were fantastic. The Desk clerk also moved her car from her spot at the front of the motel and parked elsewhere so that a late comer who could not find a parking spot close to his room could park there, which I thought to be most excellent customer […] service.
