Best Western Hotel Orion Budapest

L'hotel si trova in una posizione ideale perche' e' a Buda nel quartiere del castello ma a pochi passi dal Ponte della Liberta e quindi e' vicinissimo anche a Pest si possono visitare facilmente entrambi i lati della citta' ben servito dai mezzi pubblici si trova in una zona tranquillissima, anche se nei dintorni non si trovano pasticcerie bar per fare […] la prima colazione e bisogna spostarsi. La stanza e' molto luminosa anche se non si aprono le finestre c'e la climatizzazione generale,e per fortuna non e' caldo tropicale come in alcuni hotel di Budapest. pulita TV con pochi canali uno in italiano ma abbastanza grande. E' ben insonorizzato si dorme veramente alla grande, c'e la wifi che funziona bene ma non ha una postazione internet free per i clienti. Molto ben pulito la stanza era gia rifatta a mezzogiorno. Albergo ottimo per noi che lo abbiamo usato solo per dormire, pulito e tranquillo. Il personale sempre gentilissimo e disponibile. hotel comodo e silenzioso nonostante la linea di tram vicinissima. Anzi col 41 e/o il 19 si possono raggiungere, tramite coincidenza con metro o altre linee di superficie, tutte le zone interessanti di Budapest. La funicolare per il quartiere Castello è raggiungibile a piedi in pochi minuti. Colazione corretta. Raccomandabile.

Accogliente hotel situato ai piedi della Cittadella e a pochi metri dal Danubio e dalle terme. Ottimo punto di partenza per visitare la città a piedi. Personale molto cortese. Camere molto pulite. Unico punto debole: il bagno è piccolo.

Albergo piccolo ma confortevole anche se un pò datato, la sala per la prima colazione è ben organizzata e a Budapest non tutti lo fanno, i servizi un pò spartani si compensano con il rapporto qualità prezzo.

La stanza era pulita la colazione ottima e il personale molto gentile. La stanza era molto pulita e accogliente e inoltre il fatto di avere internet gratis aiuta molto per qualsiasi bisogno per non parlare del fatto che c'è la possibilità di avere caffè e thè gratis a qualsiasi ora. Una esperienza da consigliare! complimenti!

l'hotel e`situato in una zona abbastanza centrale, a due passi dal Danubio, c'e`da dire pero`che per andare nella zona di Pest bisogna farsi uno dei lunghi ponti che caratterizzano la citta. La colazione e un po scarsina ma ci si puo accontentare. Il personale è cordiale e mantiene l'hotel molto bene in termini di pulizia. Vicino all'hotel troneggia […] un campanile che con il suono delle campane puo risultare fastidioso (bisogna dire pero che grazie al campanile ritrovi l'albergo piu facilmente!). Hotel was 7 minute walk to the castle and 7 minute walk to the pest side across chain bridge. Once you crossed the bridge you were in walking distance of all sites. I did not have to use public transportation at all in Budapest. Breakfast was extra, but worth the 8 Euros.

Fantastic location if you want to explore the city on foot. Staff very friendly andd helpful.Only downside is there is no bar in which to sit and unwind in the evening after a days walking (but there is a bar just around the corner!)

Nice rooms and clean with friendly staff. Less than a block from the Danube and close to Buda Castle and the Chain Bridge. Some but not many restaurants in the immediate area but 15 minute walk over the Chain Bridge to the Pest side of the city and you will find numerous restaurants. Would return to stay at this hotel.

Enjoyed a comfortable 4 night stay at Hotel Orion in Budapest. The hotel is comfortable rather than luxurious, but offers comfortable & value for money accommodation close to the city centre. The staff were incredibly helpful and I was particularly impressed with the room considering the excellent price I paid for it. We stayed 4 nights and had no complaints at all. Unfortunately it is not possible to open the windows. Air-condition is set in winter and summer month to a standard and centrally distributed degree, for me it was too warm and therefore uncomfortable in the night. Would have returned if this issue would not exist.

Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The room is beginning to look tired - especially the bathroom. The thingy that opens/closes the plug is loose and the towel rail next to the washbasin is in poor condition (room 41). Breakfast was fine - remember to ask for eggs and bacon to be cooked for you. The location of the hotel is perfect. It is on the Buda side. You just walk across the bridge to get to the Pest side for all the restaurants, bars, shopping, etc. The Buda side is much quieter for your sleeping, since Pest is always on the go! He quickly helped arrange it so that we could get 2 rooms next to each other a night earlier than scheduled. He gave us fantastic suggestions for restaurants!!!! Very pleased with my stay here. The room was comfortable, clean and well equipped with items such as a mini bar, free wi-fi, etc. Spotlessly clean throughout the duration of my 4 day stay. The front desk team were exceptionally welcoming and couldn't do enough for their guests. Some have complained that the rooms are small but they are perfect if all […] you require is somewhere to rest up for the night. The hotel is ideally located on the Buda side of the city. Turn left out the hotel door to head up to the Castle. Or turn right out the door to head to the tram stop or walk along the riverside. Be careful of the cycling lane though! A taxi to the airport cost me 4600HUF which is about £17.00 and was good value. Other than that the excellent public transport will get you everywhere you need to go. Or you can walk as I did. Very much enjoyed my stay in Budapest and this hotel was perfect for my needs. Would recommend. Location on the Buda side was okay, not a bad walk to center but did have to cross the bridge or take a bus. Hotel was very nice. Friendly service. Room was comfortable, bathroom was small with a very good shower.

I really liked this hotel. You are very close to the Elizabeth Bridge to get to Downtown Pest, and you are just a short walk from Buda Castle. The room is big by European standards and I think if you book early enough, it is very affordable. The staff is nice and if you need water or a soda, the mini-bar is relatively cheap.

I would recommend this hotel without reservation. It is nicely situated in a quiet street near the Buda end of the Elizabeth Bridge. The staff were very friendly and courteous, the buffet breakfasts most generous and overall value exceptional.

A great hotel in Budapest, in a great location near the Dunabe River. The service I received was friendly and excellent, and the breakfast was very good for the price. Will definitely return in the future and feel refreshed and relaxed after my stay. It is also a short walk from one of the cities spa baths.

The staff was very helpful in our city exploring. The staff also very helpful in anything else we needed. My only concern is that they need to add another English tv channel other than BBC. The hotel is on the Buda side of Budapest, just one block off of the river. It was quiet and comfortable. We did not have breakfast, but it looked and smelled really good. You do have to walk around 3 blocks toward Castle Hill to find the first restaurants on this side of the river, but the walk along the river is beautiful and we always felt safe. From our arrival, we were impressed with the staff and service. The tram service is very close and provides excellent transportation or connections to every area of the city. Breakfast was delicious. Hotel staff very helpful helping with communications following a pickpocket issue in the city.

Hotel very clean and welcoming. Staff extremeley friendly and helpful with very good English. Hotel less than a minute from the Danube. Would have been nice to have Tea and Coffee facilities in the room however complimentary Tea and Coffee were available at the bar 24/7. Will definitely go back.

Both my friends and I had a lovely time in Budupest. We loved the hotel and the hotel service was perfect. The hotel was very clean and tidy. The breakfast was fantastic, well cooked and presented. You could have what ever you wanted and it was cooked fresh within a couple of mins. One of my friends became ill with a very bad migraine for the last […] couple of days and the staff could not have been more helpful.
