Mi sono fidato delle recensioni prima di scegliere questo hotel e devo dire che non sono rimasto deluso. La posizione è veramente ottima, vicino ad un grande centro commerciale all'aperto con vari negozi e ristoranti. L'atmosfera non è quella tipica dei grandi alberghi, ma più vicina a quella di un residence. Elevata la pulizia. Il servizio manutenzione, che abbiamo dovuto chiamare per un piccolo problema con il condizionatore, è rapido ed efficiente. Molto gradito il parcheggio gratis. Un po' scarsi i prodotti trovati nel bagno: abbiamo dovuto far richiesta dello shampoo.

Molto gentili, camere un pò spartane ma pulite e spaziose. Colazione al piano terra ma "in piedi" o ai tavoli fuori se il tempo è ok. Park gratuito a due passi. Vicinissimo al Kodak . Buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Tornerei sicuramente

beakfast ESAGERATAMENTE CARO perché il costo della colazione è indipendente da cosa si mangia. Mia moglie ed io abbiamo preso: 2 espresso+1 banana+1yogurt+1 ciotola di cereali+1 bicchiere di succo di frutta = 56,92$ !!!

I booked the hotel because of its proximity to the hospital where I was having surgery. The hotel fulfilled all my needs.

"Security at bestwestern Gateway in Santa Monica"
We were very concerned about security at the hotel. The parking garage was for IHOP and the hotel. The elevators in the garage were open to the public and went all the way to all floors of the hotel. We felt very insecure late at night under these circumstances, particularly because there was no security to be seen and there were many vagrants in the […] area. My only warnings are that the hotel is in a fairly commercial neighborhood--lots of car dealerships and auto related stores, some fast food. We loved the hotel. We needed to add an extra room and they were very flexible and accommodating. The free hotel shuttle was a huge blessing( small tip) The shuttle dropped us off by the 3rd street Promenade & Santa Monica Pier and would arrive back at the time we scheduled, super great!! Good value for money, clean room and comfortable. Good parking arrangements, no need for a key to the car park. Quite a long way from the shopping areas but easy with a car.

i stay for work so convenient for route10 to la. Hotel is reasonable price and ok for santa monica for tourists. I travel considerably and find best western good value esp for car park and internet, although the internet here is very slow. I booked this hotel knowing we were hardly going to spend any time there. Free parking, free wi-fi and easy access were other reasons. The hotel is pretty banged up. Looks like a lot of deferred maintenence. Housekeeping was not good about keeping their carts out of the walkways and they knocked on our door early, around 9:00. Our air conditioner was […] LOUD. I enjoyed my stay here. It was a little pricey considering there was no breakfast (IHOP next door though). This place was really just a place to spend the night, but because this was my first time in Santa Monica. Fine hotel. Trouble with wifi which was extremely important to us.. Seems like we were connected to a Wifi at another BW very far away. Spent hours trying to get good service. there was a bit of street noise on Friday night but we liked being able to open the window with it closed the noise would have decreased.

This was worth the drive down from San Luis Obispo. I was able to get to the Bergamot Station Art Galleries nearby without a problem. I was satisfied with this hotel. They should change the batteries on the remotes. The free Wifi was a bit slow.

"Redress Arrived - Just as Promised"
The manager called me and confirmed that there was a mold problem in the bath of the room I complained about in a separate review here. He apologized and offered full restitution. I declined saying only one night of redress was warranted. He promised to send me a check and it arrived last week. Hotels.Com was nice enough to send me an update link so […] I could post this.
