Lascia un po' a desiderare la pulizia del copriletto e della coperta. La colazione è servita in un grande salotto , purtroppo non ci sono finestre ed il modo di lavorare del cameriere ricorda di più una "mensa" che un boutique hotel.

Non è vicinissimo al centro di Monterey, occorre la macchina per raggiungerlo in 10-15 minuti.Ottima ed abbondante la colazione

Recensito da un utente di Hotels.com in data 28 giu 2012Non ho parole per descrivere quanto sono entusiasta di questo hotel, nel quale purtroppo ho trascorso solo 1 notte. Zona dell'hotel facilissima da raggiungere, con grande parcheggio gratuito davanti e dietro. L'hotel dispone di una piscina interna molto carina che però non ho usato. La camera era confortevole e silenziosa ed il bagno perfetto. Sembrava tutto nuovo. La colazione viene servita nella hall da Starbucks e sebbene non sia un buffet a quantità illimitata è di alta qualità. Mi è dispiaciuto partire, ci sarei rimasto qualche notte in più, ma dovevo continuare il mio viaggio.

Inviato da Francesco C di "Roma" il 28 ago 2011Abbiamo passato 20gg a Santa Cruz per un corso di studi presso l'Università. Avevamo l'auto quindi la distanza dalla città e dall'università non sono stati un problema. La stanza 317 era posizionata sulla destra del grande parcheggio dal lato opposto dei campi da golf e verso il bosco, quindi distante dalla strada 17 di grande scorrimento. L'albergo ha un ristorante molto buono, tra i migliori della zona, ovviamente riferito al cibo americano. la stanza è stata pulita tutti i gironi con cambio degli asciugami. C'è un frigorifero vuoto ma funzionante per eventuali necessità, e la macchina del caffè americano con 2 cialde al giorno. L'unico grande difetto per noi è stata la colazione,yougurt, dolci, uova sode fredde tenute nel ghiaccio, no pane, no cereali, no cibo salato (prosciutto, formaggio, ecc.), ovviamente caffe e latte. non abbiamo avuto particolari necessità quindi non possiamo dare un giudizio sul personale dell'albergo. Quello del ristorante, dove abbiamo mangiato diverse volte è molto gentile, e il locale è accogliente. Se vi capita approfittate del brunch la domanica, con 20$ a testa potrete assaggiare un menù ampio e ben cucinato.

"Love this hotel!!"
We stay here every time we come to Santa Cruz. The rooms are always clean and they very nice and spacious! Parking is very easy. The breakfast is DELICIOUS! Bacon, eggs, fresh Belgian Waffles! And of course the usual breakfast items; fruit, cereal, yogurt, bagels etc. We take that fact into consideration when choosing a hotel because of the money we […] save by not needing to go out to get a good breakfast. "Not the best"
When I booked this hotel, the rating was 4 out of 5 stars...well it's more like a 2 out of 5 stars. Our first room was on the second level and had no air flow from the window as it sat above the mini courtyard for the hot tub (there is NOT a pool here) the noise from the street traffic was terrible. We visited late April, Santa Cruz was cool and breezy...but […] we were in a room having to run an air conditioner because of the noise. I switched our room, which was considerably cooler in general...but there was no screen on the window and the hotel staff was not concerned about replacing it. Our only complaint is the carpet under the air conditioner (between bed and window) was very wet, which also caused an unpleasant odor. The hotel property was clean and well maintained. There was adequate parking (free). There is a terrific Italian restaurant directly across the street. The hotel is walking distance to downtown and to the boardwalk. The wharf is a little farther but not an impossible walk especially if you want to avoid the crazy traffic down there. "Good value for $--Front desk needs to be available"
Overall experience was positive. The gentleman working the front desk was rarely actually at the front desk. You often had to call back to the backroom to get him to come out and assist you. When he did it seemed that you were putting him out. I would recommend to the management to require the front desk staff to stay at the front desk while they are […] on the job to take care of the guests and be available to answer questions. The rooms were in good shape and is worth the reasonable price. Continental breakfast was delicious, waffles, eggs, bacon, cereal, coffee, juice, etc. and the breakfast crew were friendly! There is a nice Italian restaurant across the street called Lucio's. Better for couples and young people since the music is loud, however, it has a small play area if you do bring kids. The staff were very accommodating and pleasant. We really enjoyed the breakfast and use of the guest computer (much needed since we didn't have ours). Just stayed overnight on a Sat. The ice machine on our (third) floor was not in order and several baskets of trash sat by it for the19 hours we were there. The room was much larger than expected. The breakfast was nice as the selection was huge with yogurt, muffins, waffles, toast, cereal, etc. Good coffee. Spacious dining area and nice staff but few […] and far between. "All the essentials and more"
Our stay here was very satisfying. Then staff was courteous and helpful. Everything was clean, comfortable and worked properly. The breakfast was better than expected (Eggs, bacon, waffles, muffins, bagels, cereal, fruit, juices, coffe, teas, and more). Obviously this is a well run establiishment. We've stayed here before and would stay here again, however this last stay was a nightmare. There was a complaint about smoking in our room, which there wasn't any due to my wife being 7 1/2 months pregnant and I'm in a hotel room duh,well what had happened was I was sitting on my vapor pen unknowingly and it had been going off in my pocket, front desk […] clerk came to inform me of complaints and that I was being charged for the smoking fee, even after I explained. After talking to desk clerk he told me that I was being charged but was still allowed to stay. Well when we got back in at 2:30 am after a concert the security guard informed us that we had to leave. So now not only have I paid in full for a room I can't stay in I'm also getting charged 368 on top of that. I came back in the morning to explain what happened and contest the charge with the manager, who was a great manager, and she totally understood and went to check the room herself, she said that there would be no extra charge for smoking because she could tell we hadn't been smoking and understood about my pen being accidentally turned on. I will definitely return I love the place but just really sucks that we even had to go through all of that and with my wife being pregnant that really added to my irritation level, and I still paid for a room that we didn't get to stay in. "Thought it would be better"
Two major snags, no outside window (didn't think to ask) was major for me. Just seeing the outside world and getting that light is a big thing for me. There was also a problem with the TV, and when they had the solution they called the wrong room with it. If I hadn't gone down to the front desk myself to complain yet again, the TV would have been unusable […] all night. One more thing, the heat was very loud when it came on. It used the fan from the air conditioning system, and you couldn't set the fan to a quieter speed. So I woke up with a headache because I used the heat. "Comfortable accommodations for a family trip"
We stayed at the venue for 3 nights and found it very comfortable for our needs. We used the fitness room (small but adequate), enjoyed the breakfast selection, and walked to downtown easily. The room was very comfortable, although there was a lot of street noise. It was a perfect place to stay after our trip to Ano Nuevo State Park to see the Elephant Seals.
