Bed not comfortable and the television screen was half black, desk staff did not seem to care. I would not put this comment on your website, but BW should be aware.

While visiting Cornell, this motel proved to be very convenient and adequate. Not much competition, hence the high price for what it is.

My first room had debris on the carpet. I complained and was switched to a near-by room. The second room was clean, with a fireplace, adequate space for office work and quiet. The front-desk attendants were polite, but gave me the wrong replacement key, requiring me to have to drive back to the office to get the correct key.

I took my HS daughter to visit Cornell. The Best Western is well-situated for the visit. However, there was a January cold snap, and our room temperature never exceeded 63 degrees F. The staff offered to move us, but we decided to stay, so they brought extra blankets. We rested comfortably. And they gave a discount card for a future stay at any Best […] Western, so I am still a satisfied customer! Just a heads-up though. "Overall good but......"
Overall I had a good experience in this hotel, yet I was a little disappointed. I forgot one of my personal items and the maintenance service found it, I asked the hotel to mail it to me they agreed but they asked me to pay the mail fee, I believe that this service should be with no charge.

This was, hands-down, the best hotel experience I've had in a long time. The staff was friendly and helpful. The neighborhood, although loud (mostly when outside) and busy (Little China is congested), is convenient. There are plenty of vacant cabs passing through and the orange subway line is a block away. It's not the best line in that it sometimes […] takes up to 15 minutes for a train to come and usually requires a transfer stop to get where you need to go, but I'd rather have a great, clean room and a slightly slow subway line than a terrible, dirty and uncomfortable room and an ideal subway line. What's important to me are clean sheets, a clean blanket and a clean bathroom. This place was fairly modern in style and new. Besides a non working refrigerator in my room my only other complaint was that with a good brand name like Best Western that they could have had a better breakfast. The only eggs they had were hard boiled. I'd like to see some scrambled eggs and/or omelets with bacon or sausages. Also they should spring for some OJ. "last minute over-night getaway"
My husband is working in the area, two and a half hours from home. I drove down, last minute, to stay with him. The room was clean, quiet and we loved the fireplace. We would stay here again.

"Pleasantly Surprised"
I had never been to a best Western before, and it was better than I thought. My room was large, clean, and comfortable. The continental breakfast was really good, and the free coffee, tea, and hot chocolate were all good quality. I will definitely be looking to stay at Best Western on future trips.

hotel location is fine but because it is set back off the road and the entrance is in a plaza it needs a larger sign at the road so you know where to turn into the plaza.
"Another nice Best Western"
Our room was great- loved the high ceilings and the fridge. Only complaint- fitted sheets are not used and our sheet came partly off the bed during the 1st night. Breakfast was nice- we really like the "make yourself" waffles. Would definately stay here again if we're ever in Ithaca again.

Very comfortable hotel room. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Liked the refridgerator and microwave. Wished there was a hand mirror in the bathroom.
The external appearance was very unattractive with almost no curb appeal at all. The lobby was dark and gloomy and the coplimentary breakfast was unacceptable - not for the amount the rooms cost. I have had delicious breakfast spreads at hotels that charged less than half what this hotel charges. The main redeeming feature was the hotel room which was […] large and spacious and quite comfortable. Also the location of the hotel was very convenient, close to the university and within walking distance of a grocery shop, pharmacy, fast food restaurants and a gas station. That said, the rooms were still grossly overpriced and it was obvious that this hotel takes advantage of the fact that there arn't a whole lot of options available for families accompanying students to the university. "Not the best Best Western I've been to"
The biggest issue I had with this hotel is that the bedding did not smell clean. The pillows smelled like a guy's gym bag. Not pleasant at all. Other than that, I liked that the room had a fridge and microwave.

Great choice. I booked online and was not 100% sure what I was getting and the hotel was very nice. Very reasonably priced and the location was great. Took my four year old daughter and she was so fascinated with the room. She did not want to leave. Only downside was the continental breakfast. Not enough variety, especially for a 4 year old.

"Worn out rooms"
We stayed at his Best Western with our two children, 5 and 2. Location is convenient to the Cornell campus. However, our room was in bad shape: it smelled musty, the furniture was old and uncomfortable, the carpet was worn out and not vacuumed behind the furniture, and the air conditioner was very loud. We called the front desk several times to ask […] for a crib and no one picked up. When we finally went to ask in person, they delivered the bed outside the room with no mattress and no sheets. "very nice and comfortable stay"
The staff are nice. The breakfast was not very good, cold boiled eggs were annoying. Fruits were bit soiled and often " sorry no bananas" notice.

We were in an end room and the wireless internet signal was weak, making the connection extremely slow.

We were staying overnight for one night when our son was visiting colleges. The hotel was clean which is always my first criteria. The breakfast area was also clean and the food was typical for a continental breakfast. The downside of the hotel had to do with our quality of sleep. We discovered that the hotel had "paper thin" walls since we kept hearing […] our neighbors' alarm clocks going off multiple times early in the morning. I was at the point of knocking on the door to ask them to turn it off! Also, the beds were made with a flat sheet for the bottom sheet rather than a fitted one. It kept coming untucked all night leaving us sleeping on the plastic mattress protector. Very uncomfortable! "Not bad"
I was expecting the worst. It was not that. I didnt mind it at all. The only bad part of my stay was I was close to the enter/exit doorway. Will I stay again? Yes I hope to stay at this hotel every time I go visit my daughter at college. Price was a little much but I will pay it again if so be it.

This hotel was conveniently located a 5 minute drive from the Cornell campus. In a rush to get to campus early, the complementary breakfast was more than adequate. Nothing fancy, this was clean, quiet, inexpensive and convenient. Front desk help was quite pleasant.

This was a nice hotel and had a nice breakfast...good value and all the amenities you would expect except for one....they didn't have mattress pads on any of the beds so the sheets slipped off every night. "There are much better options....not reccommended"
I picked this hotel based off of the reviews and the proximity to Cornell's campus. However, the Holiday Inn downtown is much nicer, it has a shuttle to campus, and is closer to shops. The Best Western is old and poorly decorated. Large staples are sticking out of the carpet from where it was stapled to the wall. The towels were old and shredding and […] I woke up with a spider in my bed that attached himself to my clothing....so this place is definitely not reccommended. On a somewhat positive note, the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. However, they were located in another building and the front desk call number on my phone didn't work. "The "Three C's" : Convenient, Comfortable, Clean !"
I have been to Ithaca many times, but had never been to this hotel. I was attracted to it for it's proximity to Cornell, and it's price. First of all, it is a convenient location - just on the edge of a plaza with a Rite Aid, Supermarket, Subway, Chinese Restaurant, and Burger King. It is also conveniently located just a few mins from the main parts […] of Cornell, and no more than 10 mins from the Ithaca Commons. If you don't have a car, there is a free hotel shuttle to these places. The rooms were fresh and had a nice atmosphere with high, vault ceilingsand comfortable furniture. Also, it was very clean, and felt kind of new. There was free wireless, and alot of breakfast options included in the room price. This is definitely where I will stay for my future Ithaca trips. "Well named Best Western"
The staff are real friendly and helpful from the front desk to the cleaning staff even early in the morning on a New Years Day. Our room was bright and clean and the bathroom was a good size with great water pressure. A welcome change to have a microwave and fridge.Would definitely recommend it to others

"Ithaca Best Western"
This has got to be one of the BEST hotels I have ever stayed in! The staff was extremely helpful. The shuttle service was great and would take you pretty much anywhere you wanted, and it was free. They do appreciate tips :) Also, the free breakfast was delish! They have a waffle maker too!
