I stopped at this hotel with my two young children on our way back home. The hotel was very clean, the staff were great, and it was easily located off I81. The room was comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was plentiful and well presented. It is located near a high school and elementary school which are closer to the centre of town. The playground/fort […] at the school was ideal for my kids to run around in after a long drive in the car. There's reasonably good pizza and a nice ice-cream place in town. The hotel was OK. The beds were very hard.

Shared a room with my husband and my son for two days as we needed to visit the nearby colleges –Syracuse and Ithaca. Syracuse was a quick 20min drive and Ithaca was 45min. I thought the hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly, however the continental breakfast is only good for toast and quick cup of joe or tea (the mini cinnabuns were good). […] Its not a five star hotel but it did suit our purpose. Although not your 5 star motel we found it comfortable and satisfactory for our needs. Best value for money we had stayed in. Breakfast was basic but complimentary so can't complain.

The entry foyer smelled -- either of really cheap incense or mildew. It was a rainy day and quite muggy. The lobby AC was not on -- the owner clearly wants to save every dime. The breakfast bar was as expected, but filthy. The bagel container looked like it had never been cleaned since it was put in service. After breakfast, I left to go to my room. […] a few minutes later, I came back out, and as there was no one in lobby, the manager had turned off the TV. I guess 100 watts for a TV for a few hours at 11 cents per kilowatt hour saves them a half a dollar a day. Now the windows were open to let some fresh air into the lobby, but it still stunk. I've stayed at 16 hotels.com places in past year and this was the worst! Continua a leggere

We were very pleasantly surprised to find excellent quality of services and room accommodations. The hotel rooms were beautiful.

This was a great hotel. The staff was very gracious, the room was extremely clean and the bed very comfortable. I had some difficulty with the WiFi and staying online and had to go through getting back online which was sort of a pain. But overall this hotel is wonderful. We did not have the continental breakfast which was mostly toast, danishes and […] you could make waffles if you wished. There is a WONDERFUL diner just down the road called The Elm Street Diner or something like that. It's not a large place, but the service was outstanding and the food fantastic with good prices. I would highly recommend them as well. We will be staying here from now on when we transport our child back and forth from Syracuse University. It's right off the highway and only 20 minutes from our son's dorm. We were very pleased !! Continua a leggere

The hotel is right off Rte 81. So that's very convenient. The room and bathroom were immaculate, a very big plus. Now the downsides. The bed was very FIRM, the breakfast, well .........that left some room for improvement. Probably would keep little kids content but not even easily pleased adults. There is a diner (Elm Street Cafe) about 3/4 of a mile […] down the road that was excellent. My wife and I had breakfast and dinner there and were very satisfied. No ambiance' but the food and service was top notch. We had a ground floor room and the room above us must have a spa because we could hear it. So ask for a second floor room if you can. Our stay was very nice and the staff was friendly. The location was perfect for us since we had to travel in both directions of Cortland and Syracuse. The only negative we have about the hotel was the hot continental breakfast. The breakfast was disappointing, the frozen eggs were unappetizing, as a matter of fact all the food was frozen except for […] the bread and waffles. And the breakfast left a lot to be desired. Good if you are travelling in Central NY

Nice room. Nice staff. Great continental breakfast. A good nights stay. Would stay again.

We recently attended a family funeral in Tully, NY and wanted a place we could stay nearby. The hotel was clean and very conveniently located. It wasn't fancy, but it was more than sufficient for our needs.

Too expensive for a motel with few ammenities. Mattress was too hard. Service was good.

This hotel is clean and comfortable. The only negative was that the staff could be better trained. They weren't very knowledgeable about local restaurants and the book in the lobby on restaurants was outdated. Also, it was difficult to find anyone on the front desk the morning we checked out.
