Recensito da un utente di Hotels.com in data 22 feb 2013Io e la mia ragazza siamo stati in in questo hotel dal 16 al 19 Febbraio 2013.E devo dire che è stato davvero ottimo...La posizione è invidiabile,vicino alla metro e comunque a 10 minuti a piedi dal centro e 5 minuti dal Prater,in una zona tranquilla con qualche buon ristorante... buona accoglienza, bella stanza, spaziosa, pulita e confortevole.L'accoglienza è stata più che all'altezza e l'addetta è stata davvero gentile ed esauriente...e c'hanno gratuitamente assegnato la suite invece della camera standard!La camera eè ampia e pulita con un letto King size (tre piazze) e un televisore da fare invidia a quello di casa...nonchè il Wi-fi gratuito...Il bagno è spazioso e pulito,con cambio biancheria efficiente e pulizia giornaliera (anche di Domenica)...La colazione al mattino è a buffet,molto varia,con ampia scelta fra dolce e salato e con personale sempre attento a rifornire il buffet e pulire la sala...Alla partenza sono stati poi gentilissimi nel tenerci le valigie in deposito per mezza giornata (l'aereo partiva di pomeriggio tardi) e a farci fare il check-in online per l'aereo con relativa stampa delle carte d'imbarco...che dire,visto anche il prezzo incredibilmente basso pagato,ho passato un bellissimo weekend di San Valentino...da consigliare a voi e a tutti quelli che vogliono visitare Vienna!

Unico inconveniente l'assenza del segnale WI-FI all'interno delle stanze ma presente nelle aree comuni.

Ottima esperienza: l'albergo è in una zona molto centrale della città, che consente di raggiungere a piedi tutti i principali siti d'interesse (Santo Stefano, Hofburg, musei...) e si trova a due passi dalla stazione della metro di Karlsplatz. Dall'aeroporto, con il CAT (ce n'è uno ogni venti minuti circa, mi pare) si raggiunge in un quarto d'ora la […] stazione metro Landstrasse, a due fermate da Karlsplatz. La struttura è confortevole ed elegante, sia per quanto riguarda gli spazi comuni, sia per le camere, la cui unica pecca è il bagno, un po' troppo piccolo e non all'altezza del resto della stanza. Il personale è molto disponibile e gentile, anche nel suggerire visite; inoltre, vi possono prestare una tessera (non so quante ne abbiano a disposizione) che consente l'accesso gratuito a due persone all'Albertina (attualmente, fino a tutto marzo, mi pare, c'è una mostra sull'astrattismo). La prima colazione è decisamente adeguata (hanno anche specialità, così le chiamano, a base di uova, che però non abbiamo assaggiato), il caffè indecente, come nel resto della città, più o meno. Second visit to the Beethoven and almost couldn't fault it. Our bedroom was spacious and tastefully decorated, public rooms smart, breakfast fresh and great variety. Staff helpful and friendly. Good internet connection. The location is difficult to beat, Secession house round the corner, Karlsplatz tube a short walk, the Ring with trams only around […] 200m. Museum Quarter, BurgTheater, StaatsOper, Kartnerstrasse, Mariahilfestrasse all easy walks. Stephansdom is only a 15 minute walk away. The only minor nuisance? "Central to all attractions, BEST breakfast!"
The hotel is in a central location, just steps away from the Vienna Theater and the Nachsmarkt for late night eating galore. The famous Cafe Museum is open late for soup and snacks. There are tons of restaurants nearby and the famous Vienna opera house is just 2 blocks away where you can watch a full opera with standing room tickets at only 4€, a little […] tiring to stand for 3 hrs, but how convenient to have a hotel room just 2 blocks away! Albertina, the museum quarter with all the famous works of art, music and 7,000 years of crowned jewels, the Belvedere Palace that stores Gustav Klimt are all just a few blocks or tram stops away. The world famous Secession is right at Karlplatz Ubahn station, from which you can travel directly to Schönbrunn Palace on one line. St Stephan's Cathedral and the city center is 10 mins walking distance past the Opera house. Aside from the perfect location, we received a warm welcome upon arrival by the wonderful reception staff. There is WiFi on each floor. Our room was small with 2 twin beds and nice view of the street. My friend changed to a single room which was much nicer with large double bed and red velvet decoration. The rooms were worth every penny. The hotel was charming and we were surprised at the beautiful setup for breakfast. We could have sat in the breakfast room for hours but had too much sightseeing on our schedule. The staff, level of service, comfort of the rooms made for a wonderful wknd and tour of Vienna. The hotel was nice, well located (border line of city center). The room was clean and the staff was very nice. Excelent breakfast buffet. The only issue was the bath tub with shower is a little strech and the pillows too soft. But the relation quality price was good. We were very pleased with our two separate stays at the Hotel Beethovan (at the beginning and end of our Eastern European tour). The location is excellent, a block from the Market, two blocks from a Metro stop, and an easy ten minute walk to the Opera House. The staff was very friendly and helpful with restuaurant recommendations. The rooms are beautifully […] appointed, and we appreciated the free Wifi. But the best part of all was the breakfast, which is truly outstanding. On our last night, we had to leave at 4am to catch an early flight and missed breakfast, but the staff generously provided us with coffee and a bag of breakfast treats to take with to the airport. "Good value in a great location"
A smart, mid-size hotel in a quiet side street, close to restaurants, cafes, market supermarkets and with excellent public transport links for the airport and tourist attractions. The Opera House and main shopping street are a 5 minute walk with beautiful parks also close by. The bedroom was comfortable with good quality beds, fridge, modern bathroom […] and air conditioning. Some carpets are a little faded but this did not detract from the well presented reception, breakfast room and lounge. The quality of the breakfast was first class and the availability of complimentary tea and coffee throughout the day and evening a welcome bonus. "Great Hotel Close To All Amenities"
Extremely helpful staff, good varied buffet breakfast, room was newly furnished with new huge step in shower on 5th floor away from any sort of noise, and the lounge had a free supply of tea and coffee on tap 24 hours a day, Hotel in the centre of Vienna so walkable to all the attractions only time we decided to take the tube was to see the Schonbrunn […] and to go to an evening concert at the Kursalon at the City Park. Although the Beethoven didn't have a bar there were plenty in the vincinity and restaurants abounded in the Naschmarkt which was just across the road. "An excellent hotel"
This hotel was very easy to get to from the airport and was in an ideal location for exploring Vienna. The hotel was excellent with a very good buffet breakfast and a free tea/coffee lounge available all day. the staff were helpful and spoke good English. "Great location near Karlsplatz, music, and U-Bahn"
We were so pleasantly surprised by the convenient location and comfort level of this hotel. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a larger room, which was great -- roomy, well furnished, and spotless. Breakfast was included in our room rate, and it was excellent, including eggs and other non-standard "Continental breakfast" fare. We had a really good time at the hotel, room and service was superb and the breakfast bar absolutely fantastic. All staff was very friendly and helpful and knew the area very well.
