I am a business traveler accustomed to a high standard. I attend half a dozen conferences hosted in large hotels abroad every year, and I try to opt for a place nearby that has more local flavor. Kaiserhof is the gold standard in this regard. This is a very civilized small hotel, and a bargain at the price I paid. My room was at the low end of the rate […] scale and was comfortably large. Bathroom had radiant heated floors and a shower to die for. Free internet, mini-bar. Great comfortable room. My room was on street level and I never heard a sound from outside. This is a really sweet spot with very attentive staff, wonderful breakfast room, elegant and charming small bar--there is nothing I would change about this place, once you're inside. The only bummer, and it's fairly minor, is that you are outside of the ring road, and it's a walk into the first district, where so many of the attractions of Vienna lie. Nevertheless, it's no more than a ten minute walk into Stephansplatz, and five minutes to the Opera--so it's by no means a hardship detail--it's just that once outside the ring, the surrounding neighborhood is not special--it is by no means a questionable neighborhood--it's fine, although generic. If you want a lovely hotel that lets you know you are in one of the world's great cities, you don't want to spend decidedly more to stay in the first district, and you don't mind walking a few extra minutes to and from every day, stay here--it's a fine place. Superb Hotel - cannot be faulted within comfortable walking distance of major attractions. Excellent service by friendly attentative staff. Comfortable spacious rooms. Public areas so clean and lovely decor. Fine Buffet breakfast. with enough choice to satisfy everybody. Wish all hotels could be as good as this.

The attention to detail at the Kaiserhof is charming - from the personalised welcome message on the large TV screen on entering the room to the Ferrero Rocher on each pillow. Due to a late flight arrival, I arrived famished and tired however the super friendly staff made me feel instantly relaxed and even prepared a meal and delicious orange juice […] punch for me despite it being near closing time for the bar (11pm). The next evening I took advantage of the room service (available until 10pm) which included a lovely pumpkin soup. In fact the food is really excellent here - even the huge breakfast offering. Room was perfect, spacious and TV catered for all with channels in English, German, Italian, French, Spanish, Russian and Arabic. Last details that bring the Kaiserhof from grade 4 to a 5 - selection of teas inc green tea and herbals, a large supermarket at 2 minutes walk, v quiet rooms, free speedy internet, 5 mins walk to the tube, noon checkout and there is even a gym and sauna which I'll certainly be back to try. I loved my stay here. I am walking distance from almost anything from good food to historical land marks. The beds are extremely comfortable and the room service is exceptional.

Room was ready when we got there. Reception staff was fantastic in answering questions, giving restaurant recommendations and being patient! Room was very comfortable and spacious. Location was just very short walk to the Innerstrat. Across the street was the metro and the hourly bike rental. Grocery store within a 2 minute walk. This hotel was a fantastic […] hotel for many locations if you dont mind walking!! I changed hotels to join a tour and was sorry I did. Great value for what was received. THIS HOTEL IS THE MOST WORSE HOTEL IN THE WHOLE WORLD.. THE SERVICES ARE VERY BAD AND THERE IS NO REACTION FOR ANY OF YOUR REQUESTS I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANY PERSON TO USE OR BOOK IN THIS HOTEL

This is a very nice hotel just outside the main tourist area. It's located on a quiet street close to the metro, streetcars and the main sites. It's an old hotel but well maintained. The staff is very helpful and the breakfast buffet was very good. My only complaint would be the size of the basic rooms.

I waned a hotel within easy walking distance of the Opera House, that was in a safe neighborhood. This is a lovely hotel, three blocks from the subway and five blocks from the Opera House. The hotel is just outside the "Ring" area, and thus costs considerably less for an outstanding stay than those inside - but it is in a very safe and comfortable area […] and easy walking distance to museums and all. The hotel was recently updated and has really excellent features, such as Villaroy and Boch bathroom fixtures. The beds are supercomfortable - we were using a pullout sofa in a junior suite that was very comfortable and there was plenty of room with it pulled out throughout the visit. The breakfast has a fabulous fresh fruit cocktail as well as cut fruit and fresh fruit, in addition to fried eggs, scramble and boiled - wonderful breads, sausage, bacon, cakes, cereals, etc. The only notable drawback is that there is not a particularly interesting restaurant nearby though there are good snacks at the bar and a terrific market around the corner. This hotel was beautiful and an amazing value for the cost. Large room, lovely amenities, and a sauna/steam room to use for free! Was within a few blocks walking distance to the sights.

My wife and I are both gluten-free. We informed the hotel upon arrival and every morning, as part of an excellent breakfast buffet, we received a plate of warm gluten-free bread and buns as well chocolate cookies. The hotel is very well appointed and comfortable, but the standout services were the front desk staff, and bellhop. They were very warm, quick to help, and enjoyable conversation. Breakfast was also very nice with a broad buffet of selections. We were very pleased with the hotel.

Recently renovated hotel in excellent location. Easy walk to center and Opera area.Staff very helpful ..excellent restaurant reccomendations. Full breakfast included in room price.

Personnel at this hotel were absolutely spectacular. The breakfast was all you could hope for and speciall care taken to keep the buffet looking just right until the end. Great attention to detail. They had a nice bar area where you could enjoy something during off hours. They upgraded us and we had a a lovely junior suite. My family and I were looking for a inexpensive hotel to stay at for the July 4th weekend, and came upon this hotel. I was thinking positive things about this hotel being that it is a Best Western and they are not bad hotels in the states. Our previous stay at a hotel in Rome was a huge disappointment. The room was incredible, my wife and I were unsure of what to expect from a hotel while travelling with an 8-month old infant, but the Best Western not only met our standards but blew them away. This hotel will clearly make it difficult in the future to find a hotel just like this one. The room was all that we expected, the air-conditioning was a definite plus being July and the temperture in the 80's. The pillows were incredibly soft, we had brought our own and ended up not using ours, because theirs were so great. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic, a great way to start the day, it was about a 10-15 min. walk from the center of town, a 5 min. walk from the market. The only thing that was difficult was the parking, after 2 passes by the hotel I was able to find a spot on the street, but I later found a parking garage just around the corner. Très bon hôtel. Nous y sommes restés 3 nuits. Confort feutré, situation au calme, chambre et salle de bain très propres. Le gros plus de l'hôtel : son buffet de petit déjeuner où tous les produits sont frais et de qualité. IL y en a pour tous les goûts: sucré, salé, large choix de thés raffinés. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der stilvollen Einrichtung, der angenehmen Atmospäre und dem freundlichen Personal. Auch Internet problemlos verfügbar. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ebenfalls gut und reichlich. Die Lage fußläufig zu den wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten im Zentrum auch sehr gut. Notre chambre 202 était vraiment très sombre et très triste,donnant sur une cour avec un mur aveugle,aucune luminosité,assez déprimant surtout pour une chambre dite supérieure,nous n'avions pas envie d'y rester.

Excelente hotel a cinco minutos a pie del centro peatonal de Viena y de la Opera. Servicio muy profesional y amable en todas sus instalaciones: Recepción, Camareras de habitaciones, Bar y sala de desayunos Habitación amplia y cómoda. Volveremos a este hotel en nuestro proóximo viaje a Viena.

...ist sehr zentral gelegen (in 10 min zu Fuss bei der Oper). Sehr saubere Zimmer, gutes Frühstücksbuffet. Beim nächsten Wien-Aufenthalt steigen wir gerne wieder im Kaiserhof ab.

Gute Lage zur Innenstadt und Oper, kann sie in 7-10 min Spaziergang zu Fuß erreichen. Hotel in jeder Beziehung bestens. Auffallend freundlicher Service, exzellentes Frühstücksbuffet.

Das Hotel Kaiserhof liegt günstig in der Wiener City, sodass man die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten sehr gut zu Fuß oder die naheliegende S-Bahn Station erreichen kann. Besonders hervorzuheben sind das sehr höfliche und zuvorkommende Hotelpersonal, die liebevoll und sehr geschmachvoll gestalteten Zimmer sowie das Hotelambiente im Allgemeinen, das leckere […] Frühstück und das überzeugende Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. hotel placé à uen courte distance à pieds de l'opéra. hôtel confortable, agréable, quoiqu'un peu classique.

Os minimos detalhes superaram as melhores espectativas. Um para voltar sempre. Fácil acesso a tudo que me era prioritário. Tarifas justas para a qualidade dos serviços. Extremo cuidado com o serviço de e-mails com respostas confirmadas personalizadas aos remetentes (um luxo!) O auge posso afirmar foi a excelência do buffet.
