"It's an oldie"
..but suprisingly comfortable. The exterior needs some TLC, but the room was large, clean, and comfortable. The restaurant was excellent, a good variety on the menu at a good price. Very tasty. We didn't try The Saloon, but it looked like fun. A good location for highway access and 5 minutes from the lake.
"my stay"
this hotel met or exceeded my expectations. The complimentary breakfast was exceptional. The staff couldnt have been friendlier. I will definately stay at this property again.
"Late checkout"
I need to check out at 12:00 instead of 11:00. I called the front desk and asked for more time. I was told that I was cutting it close and I had better be out by twelve. I thought this was rather rude.

Stayed in room 122. Our bathroom was filthy. Mold was around the bathtub and tub surround. There was also mold on the floor by the tub. Dried toothpaste was on the wall beside sink. The ceiling tiles above the bathtub were cracked and rusty.

"Knew what we were getting into"
We knew with the low price not too expect too much.Everyone working there was very friendly.The main problem we had was our room being on the ground level was very cold when we entered and took 5 hours to register above 50 (also took a while to figure out heating system that we had to climb on furniture to reach) knowing guest were coming they should […] have had the heat on.Also cab service to the casino was $25.00 one way they would probably rent alot more rooms if they could provide a shuttle service. "Newly renovated?"
Advertised as "Newly Renovated", which means that "most" of the black mold was cleaned from the shower stall? Beds were new...but this is a tired property, exterior door security systems not working, same carpert that we had in our lake house basement in the 70's though! Restaurant staff was very friendly though.
It is in a great location. The breakfast included in the price was excellent. The price was right.

"quality inn in fairview pa - not good"
Our room was musty smelling and the bathroon had mold on the ceiling and around the tub, staff was nice, and resturant was good but the area that the hotel is in is blighted compared to the next exit up the road. "Quality Inn and Suites - not impressed!"
We were very surprised when we noticed that one of the ceiling panels was gone and that part of the ceiling was covered in mold (which is a major health hazard). Also the windows were filthy and were covered in spider webs. We also noticed that the air conditioner / heater vents were caked in dirt. "Do not stay here stay in your car before this hote"
Some one from Quality Inn needs to inspect this hotel it is not rentable. The outside looks like it has never been upkeeped, it smells like mildew and the ceilings have water damage marks all over them. The room smelt really damp and mildewy. The bathroom was falling apart we had no hot water at all. The breakfast had bluey green eggs on the buffet […] you were given paper plates and plastic utensils. I starved instead of eatting it. I could keep going on but I think you get the hint. Please think twice before booking this Qualitty Inn exspecially this is suppose to be a chain well who moniters the conditions? We found a bug in the bed. I notified the management. He moved us to another room and told us he checked it out and assured us it was not a bedbug. I really hope he was truthful. We would not stay there again.

The Hotel break fast is very good n vast selection maintenance they have to concentrate much more. very cool area.will stay may be next time again
"Erie pa hotel"
Great for the area. Was fishing Walnut. Very close to creeks. Best part is when the day was done the is a nice bar and restaurant on site. For the $ not sure there's much better in the area.

For the price paid on line the room was acceptable .Buffet breakfast was just OK WE would stay again for the same rate or less

It was a basic room, my only complaint was the bathroom. It just looked dirty.
"What do you expect for so little?"
The walls are thin and the air is thick (smelly) but it was a comfy bed and clean enough in the room. The included breakfast was OK although not "hot" as advertised (eggs & sausage in the buffet was not kept hot). For such a small rate it was an exceptable deal, but next time I'll spend a bit more for less smoke & a better night sleep.
"took a chance"
I felt the hotel was more than adequate for our needs. We just needed a place to stay and this was great. The front desk people were exceptionally nice, the room very clean and comfortable and instead of the buffet of pastry and cereal, we actually had a hot, freshly cooked breakfast the next morning.

"Sloppy Room"
This hotel needs an upgrade very badly. They need to separate the party area from the rooms and the food area was horrible. I will not stay there again.
"THICK PLASTIC wrapping on beds"
IF you are considering a stay in the Erie area: READ THIS! 1st impression of the area was not very good: I expected to see a tumbleweed roll by. A deserted building is across the road and the hotel looked haggered. The managers office is visable from the front of the building and looked horribly unorganized. We arrived earlier than check in time as […] I wanted to ask that they would have the AC on before our arrival (wife has asthma). The entry area looked better and seemed recently remodeled so I felt better about staying there. The front desk KID seemed inconvienced by me as I interupted his personal call. He offered no confidence that they would or could have the AC on for us and it was something we would have to do. a few hours later we checked in: The room was fine. It was clean(ish) and well lit. NOW this is where it gets JUST WEIRD. My wife and I sat on the King size bed and heard a crackling sound and the bed seemed STIFF; not firm:: Just STIFF. We pulled back the covers and fitted sheet:: and the bed is wrapped in it's clear shipping plastic. The corners were taped with black duct or electrical tape: WHO DOES THAT? My wife and I are low maintaince guests and did not want to cause a scene, so we didn't say anything. Too bad as the matress was actually very comfortable. But the sheet kept slipping off the corners and the CRACKLE-CRACKLE made for a difficult nights sleep. When we walked in to the hotel there was an overwhelming odor of some type of chemical or moth ball smell. Hallways showed peeling wallpaper with mold in between. Had to go buy lysol and light a candle to mask the odor so we could sleep. Needed a bodybuilder to be able to pull the fawcett out to get the shower running! Terrible!!!

My daughters and I very much enjoyed the full breakfast buffet of choices. The hotel location was fine- a little travel to destinations didn't bother us. We had a clean room and the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We didn't have our frig/micro the first day but the staff were able to get those in our room the next day. "Hotel not in good condition"
This facility is not well maintained. It was musty and felt like a truck stop that had seen better days.This is the first hotel at we canceled after one night.
"Don't do it"
This hotel was nasty. The desk still had sticky stuff on it from previous guests. We were on the "sublevel" and the window would not close all the way and we had to stick a screw in the broken lock so it would lock properly. The window curtains had spilled paint on them from the most recent paint job. The entrance door was smeared with something brown […] as well as the wall in the hallway leading to our room. "Plastic covers on the mattress"
Functional and relatively clean overall, but a couple of sketch out factors: there were plastic covers on the mattress that crinkled every time you rolled over and the shower curtain had mildew.
"Too much money for too little content."
For the money spent I was very disappointed with the hotel overall. The front desk personal were friendly and helpful despite a faulty computer system which dragged out check in. It was down hill from there, mold, rust and a used wash cloth in the closet they call a bathroom. Ancient carpet and television teamed well with the noisy air conditioning […] unit. Breakfast which was included was a complete waste of time, would have more helpful to just provide a card with directions to McDonalds. "Hidden paradise!"
We had a pleasurable stay at this hotel. My husband and son both enjoyed the pool. The buffet breakfast was also wonderful. I enjoyed the luxury beds and size of our room. I would recommend this hotel if you are not looking for something right in the heart of Erie. There is not much around it but that's what we enjoyed about it. You are only about 10mins. […] from shopping and 1 hr away from the Prime Outlet Mall. This is much nicer than some of the hotels in Grove City. It's worth making the drive to stay in this hotel. Continua a leggere
Motel is in area of abandoned businesses. Outside poorly maintained. Not a blade of grass. Wife flipped out.
"Better than expected"
I took my chances on this palce based on other review because I was kinda desperate. Glad I did, though - turned out to be an OK place to stay. It was a bit pricey but probably because of the season and the hurry I was in to book it and I wanted 2 Queen beds per room (also a bonus since most placed only have Full). Overall: - Breakfast was awsome - […] the best free breakfast I ever had! - Service was great - we asked for extra blankets and towels and he was at our door in 5 min despite the place being booked for the night. - Cleaning staff was very nice. - When the ice makers ran out, the gals at the Dinner gave us a bucket-full - Rooms were clean and everything worked, what more could I ask for? "Quality Inn"
Room was sutible nothing fancy. Quit area away from the hustle bustle nice outside pool. Restaurant and bar on premises food was good nothing fancy worth the price. I would stay again.
Pleasantly surprised by this hotel. For the price, the hotel was wonderful. The breakfast was great and the pool was too. The rooms were clean and no complaints at all!
THis is an older motel and the rooms have that musty smell. Good truck stop but that's about it. wouldn't go there again.
"Quality Inn in Fairview, PA: Comfortable room."
The beds were very comfortable. A complimentary breakfast was included at the grill attached to the motel. Breakfast was OK - not a large selection. Motel itself is rather worn-looking, but it was convenient for us, and the price was right.

"Isolated and Not Worth It"
Located well away from anything else, this hotel is showing its age and lack of maintenance. My room number was handwritten on a pad of torn paper taped to the wall. Carpets were badly worn. Bathroom fixtures had multiple cigarette burns. The only thing I can say good about this place is that the breakfast was a full breakfast.
