Heron House Court Key West

Hotel non nuovissimo ma ben tenuto. Noi avevamo la stanza 14, molto spaziosa con soggiorno e camera da letto con il bagno. Credo che la differenza la faccia Roman la persona che si occupa della gestione dell'hotel . La sua gentilezza e le sue premure fanno veramente la differenza. La piscina e la jacuzzi sono entrambe riscaldate ed anche nei rari giorni […] di piaggia o di fresco (che abbiamo avuto la sfortuna di trovare)sono utilizzabili. Abbastanza vicino al centro se vi va di fare 4 passi fra le villette tipiche dell'isola. Meglio ancora in bici (domandate a Roman). Vi consiglio di non utilizzare l'automobile. Me and my grilfriend have highly appreciated both the kindly attitude of the manager ( Roman) and the nice house/rooms. The house is located in a quiet and typical K-west street, 15 min by walk from the centre ( Mallory Sq-Duvall St). We recommend it for a 2-3 days relaxing vacation in a nice island

Ho trascorso 4 notti presso L'Heron Court House insieme a mio marito. Il Bed & Braekfast è davvero carino. Casa tipica di Key West in legno con il porticato su due piani. La camera non era molto grande ma gradevole.Buona pulizia. Bagno piccolo. L'aria condizionata data l'umidità del luogo è quasi fondamentale, ma al solito un po rumorosa. Ci sono cmq […] anche le pale al soffitto. Sono presenti una jacuzzi ed un piscina sul retro.Entrambe carine ma non hanno il ricambio acqua, quindi per i miei standard di pulizia ho preferito non fare il bagno! Nessuno degli altri opsiti stranieri sembrava farci caso. La colazione è data da croissant, uova, marmellata, bagels, 1 tipo di affettato. Basilare ma accettabile. Roman del front desk è un tipo molto simpatico, socievole e disponibile quindi allieta molto il soggiorno e fornisce ogni info necessaria. Wi fi gratis. La posizione è in Frances st. molto tranquilla. Un 15-20 min. a piedi x raggiungere Mallory sq. ed il centro di Key west con i locali. necessaria la macchina x arrivare alla spiaggia. This B&B is ok. The staff is very nice, but other than that I could take it or leave it. The location is not very close to any main sights. The use of the word luxury in association is not accurate, the location could use a little sprucing up. New sheets, new paint, etc.

Nice small hotel with plenty on space for your stay. Our room was a mini suite and was very nice. I would stay here again. It is centrally located and an easy walk to downtown. The staff was excellent and served a nice continental breakfast.

My husband and I loved the location of the Heron House Court. It was a bit of a walk to the main attractions and party area of Duval St but we liked wandering around the neighborhood and discovering the places that locals go. Roman from Heron House was very helpful and gave great recommendations for restaurants in the area. I would stay here again.

I booked this hotel based on price and number of good reviews. I have to say that almost all reviews were very accurate, especially concerning the manager Roman. He was one of the nicest, most helpful hotel managers I have ever dealt with. His attentiveness and friednly attitude made up for any shortcomings the hotel may have. The surrounding neighboorhood […] is nice/quiet and close to Duval St and other attractions. My only suggestion to the hotel would be that my room did have some maintenance issues like paint/drywall repairs needed, but the room was very clean and comfortable. Good location - quiet near good restaurants. Rooms need attention and updating. Bring your own toiletries, only very small soap and shampoo in room. Between 7 pm and 8 am nothing available ( no microwave or coffeepot in room or lobby). Roman, the innkeeper, was very accommodating, pleasant, and helpful. One of the smallest rooms I have stayed @. Parking is biggest frustration in this residential neighborhood . Room was clean no doubt but needs to be upgraded. Bathroom floor linoleum not tile and wall paper peeling off ceiling area n bathroom. I booked a room with a king size bed. I got 2 twin beds pushed together with a king size sheet on them. The mattresses were the most uncomfortable I have ever slept on. You could feel the springs even though they were covered with a blanket. We had one small window that looked directly at the house next door that was about 4 feet away...so there was […] no view. Friendly atmosphere. Roman was very helpful/knowledgeable. The only negative thought concerning the room was that ti only had one chair. Since there was two of us, somebody had to sit on the bed. Of course, you really don't spend too much time in the room in Key West.

The location is excellent in the old town and is very walk-able to all major destinations. There are several excellent restaurants nearby. Service was excellent and Roman was a superb host. The condition of the rooms and exterior could use an upgrade but all was clea.

The room we stayed in needed some updating in the bath but the room was quaint and the amenities lovely. The innkeeper was right on with recommendations for dining and definitely rent bikes for getting around!

The building is beautifully & conveniently located but very quiet. A short walk to everything, but in a nice quiet area. It is a short bike ride or 1/2 hr walk to the shopping plazas for better prices. There is a GREAT sandwich bakery (lunches) beside the kitchen supply store 2 minutes walk away. The building itself is a little decrepit needing some […] maintenance & repair but comfortable none-the-less. Rating 3 stars is pretty close to correct. Roman on the desk really goes out of his way to be helpful & friendly and deserves a big portion of the credit for why we enjoyed ourselves so much. Whatever they are paying him isn't enough - he really makes the place. The pillows suck!!!! There is a mango tree beside the pool that drops little bombs on you when it is windy - watch out. This is a wonderful place to stay in Key West. Convenient and comfortable. Needs a few updates, but the staff (Roman in particular) make up for it all by sheer strength of personality and friendliness. We had a fantastic time! Parking is a challenge, but as others have noted Roman is very helpful in finding a spot. Leave the car parked and just walk around town. Many restaurants are nearby including on the waterfront. Duval street is a little more of a hike, but not a problem if you are healthy. It helps walk all that food and drink off! Originally we were going to stay on the other end of the island. Decided instead to stay in the old section as long as we were going to be there for 3 days.. Searched the internet a lot and came up with Heron House Court. It turned out being a fantastic choice and would go back tomorrow if we could. The bed was very comfortable, the ground floor room […] opened right out to the pool and hot tub, there was unlimited ice available, a little fridge in the room, a continental daily breakfast was just enough to start the day. A couple warnings: the TV in the room was small, but we were not there for TV. Our room opened right out to a common deck. There are other rooms that are on the 2nd floor that only have windows. be sure you know what you are reserving. There is a great Irish bar 2 blocks away and a pastry shop just down the lane. Keeping in mind costs of Key West in general, this property is fine. Don't expect luxury, but staff is very helpful (Roman) and it's nice getting to talk with other guests. It's a good 15 minute walk to Duval, but neighborhood is pretty and safe. I don't recommend having a car. Very hard to find parking spaces in area. Fabulous location, walk to Duval street. On quiet street. Very nice property just needs some refreshing with new carpet in room and perhaps some tiling in the bathrooms, flatscreen tv. Roman is the most welcoming host ever. Bed fabulous.
