Snowmass Inn Snowmass Village

Loved staying here. The rooms are clean and the hotel is Close to shops and restaurants and bars, and the mountain. the staff was more than accomodating - Laura at the front desk was excellent.

There is a reason the rates are so low. The decor is circa 1950. The beds are the most uncomfortable beds I've slept on in years. You walk into your room and are overpowered by this smell.... The temp control system is essentially non-existent. The air is stagnant, no fan in the room to circulate smell. The TV is tiny, not that you'd actually want […] to be in the room if you had a choice. Even though it is Snowmass, the price paid should buy you a little bit of quality. This was a first time stay for my friend and I as we booked this place online last minute. We were so impressed on how close it was so ski lift (steps away), shops, restaurants, and free shuttle into Aspen! The beds were great, the location and the price were the main selling points. The walls were a bit thin and the noise of boots on the walkways between buildings was very audible. The "lounge" area is wasted space: fire places but no wood, water cooler with no water, bathrooms without paper products. Why go there? For the price, this is a good value. The room was a bit run down and dated. There was a big armoire between the beds and no bedside tables which was kind of strange. Hotel is basic but clean and the beds were comfortable; shower was good. The location is great - you can ski down to the lift and all restaurants and shops are very close. Considering the […] excellent location, the hotel is a bargain. Please note: there was a $28 dollar charge for parking in the lots which are a little walk from the hotel. We were not told about that on the hotels.com website and we thought parking would be included. It is somewhat inconvenient to have to park a little distance away but it is understandable when you see how little room there is to park. So if you want to ski and walk the village the location is great. But for me not worth the additional parking fee (mandatory) , the very unclean room, difficult to find and get to your room when bringing your luggage in. Great value for the money. No frills, but great location and friendly service.

Very convenient to the slopes of Snowmass. The building and condition of the rooms explain why the $$ rates are so reasonable compared to nearby accomodations, but if all you need is a place to sleep between days of skiing the price was indeed attractive.

My traveling partener has bad allergies and normally has to bring sheets, pillows, towels, etc from home due to the smelly detergents most hotels use. NOT HERE ! The room was very clean, fresh smelling and ample ammenities were provided. Views are spectacular and staff is awesome. Will DEFINITELY stay there again !!

From the free airport shuttle to the complimentary hot chocolate and day storage this was the best value hotel we've stayed in. The staff are so friendly and helpful we regretted only staying one night!

Come on guys, this place is cheap for Snowmass (I've stayed in a few other condos/hotels up there! The service was friendly, the rooms were basic and comfortable enough. I wouldn't pay double the price to stay in a swanky hotel when you can stay somewhere clean, comfortable and convenient.

Just a short distance to walk to the lifts and restaurants. Across the street from the bus depot which gives you easy access to the entire village. The room was large and comfortable. Nice outdoor heated pool and hot tub.

Great room for the price. Local transportation busses to ride into Snowmass and Aspen are a short walk from the hotel.

The rooms where clean everyday, and the staff was so helpful , for the money it was worth it, stayed before there and again , they surpass them self. . .will stay again . Worth the money. if your looking a nice price for a room,

Nice and beautiful hotel location. Clean room.

Good value for summer travel. Dated.

The check in clerks were jerks, the beds were hard, cant turn off the ceiling fan so it was freezing in room all night. Had to park down the hill and walk forever to your room.

Roomy. Nice continental breakfast. Very close to bus stop (free bus). Note that internet computer & WiFi are free in lobby; but extra charge for WiFi in your room.

Snowmass Inn as a name of this place is misleading, as there is nothing inn-like about it. It is a basic, no frills room (cheap blanket, sheets, pillow, 70s style decor) with cable TV and a coffe maker. [No complaints about the towels.] The breakfast options were plenty for continental (4 kinds of cereal + a good granola, 3 types bread/engl muffin, […] 2 juices, hard boiled eggs, fruit out of a can + jelly/ PB), though definitely leaning toward quick to prepare (pre-packaged) and cheap. Convenient as it is right next to the Snowmass "mall"." A nice surprise out the back door was the garden. After reading the reviews before I booked this hotel, it didn't expect much, and the hotel wasn't all that great. Just a basic clean place to sleep, but an OK value for the area. The breakfast was OK. There are free buses to Aspen if you want to avoid driving and parking problems there.

Wir waren rundum zufrieden. Das Hotel ist nicht sehr neu und auch nicht luxuriös, aber gepflegt und nett. Es hat einen kleinen beheizten Outdorr Pool plus superheißen Outdoor Hot Tub! Herrlich! Die Räume sind amerikanisch groß, der Komfort gut. Die Snowmass Mall mit Sportgeschäften und Restaurants ist eine Minute entfernt. Dort kann man beim FourMountainSports, […] oder anderen Läden, Skier und Zeug ausleihen. Und von der Mall kann man dann direkt auf die Piste und zum Village Express Lift runterfahren. An der Mall gibt es auch eine Bushaltestelle für z.B. freie Shuttlebusse nach Aspen. Ich denke, alles in allem super Preis-Leistung für Snowmass/Aspen! Continua a leggere
