Front desk was rude and unhelpful. I was working in town and tried to do an early check in for my husband and was turned away, its hotel policy. We were told hotel was at 100% occupancy but the parking lot was completely empty. While I was working, my husband had to wait four hours in the hotel lobby watching other guests being checked in until I was […] off work. When we voiced our opinion about how it was very inconvenient that my husband had to wait all day in their lobby we were offered nothing. We asked for a late check out and give an extra hour, its hotel policy. Their hotel policy needs to change. We were on our way to Death Valley and wanted to stop in Bakersfield to get a good night's rest. The complimentary breakfast was wonderful. The accessibility to the freeway was perfect. "Nightmare"
First off at check in they gave us keys to somebody else's room. So we walked in on an occupied room thinking it was ours... And vacant. After clearing that up, The first thing we notice upon entering our room was not other visitors this time but rather a big fat roach running across the floor(got picture of it). Next, They told us not to use the room […] towels at the pool but it took us asking 4 times for pool towels then we finally just went to get our room towels. Then about midnight my son got ill and vomited in the bed. We called for clean sheets and were told that everything was locked up and the night crew did not have access. We asked for access to the laundry facility so we could wash them ourselves but that too was locked and staff had no access. We asked for a roll away bed, again no access. We asked for a vacant room so that two adults and two kids, one vomiting would not all have to share a queen bed. Denied. Was told that the only rooms a available, now at nearly 2am were suites and staff did not have authority to let us use one. Finally shortly after 2am another staff member arrived for work and was able to get us a roll away cot. They so generously informed us that they would not charge us for the use of the cot. I was very surpried at how nice the hotel was for the price. It was conveniently located near the freeway, but there was not freeway noise. The room was very spacious and there was a small refrigerator and a microwave. There was even a balcony with a view of the very attractive pool area. I've stayed at many hotels that advertise free breakfast, so […] I was expecting the usual sweet rolls and coffee. Was I ever surprised to find fresh biscuits and very tasty country gravy along with make-your-own waffles, hard-boiled eggs, cereal, fruit and, yes, sweet rolls and muffins. Pet room had sticky tile floors. better than carpet for pet rooms but the room was heavy bleach smelling. Old worn out towels. "wifi, wifi, where art thou wifi?"
I liked the place, it had a little playground. The pool was empty because of winter, fine with me it was cold. The breakfast was nice, i liked the biscuits and gravy. The room was nice, my only complaint was the really bad WiFi! It was horrible! I wouldn't stay connected! That bugged me, Good for the money through, so I'd stay there again.Recensioni obiettive Hotels.com

"Awesome room for the price"
Headed out there for March Meet - we usually book a standard room but since I had some higher dollar credits decided to go for a suite. The room was awesome, big and I loved that the jacuzzi sat out in the open and was big enough for two to three people. When we were in the living room area though, we couldn't help but notice two greasy hand prints […] spread across the couch... we're talking perfect hands. The only thing missing was half a face print in the middle. A hot rag and some detergent would work wonders. While I give whoever it was kudos for having a great time, no one wanted to sit on the couch during our stay.... Room 196. Won't deter us from heading back there for next race though, the Bullshed is a blast and we always have a great time staying there! Continua a leggereRecensioni obiettive Hotels.com
