Per una cinquantenne come me certo ogni tanto le molte giovani sono un po' rumorose ma per il costo si può davvero sopportare...

Recensito da un utente di Hotels.com in data 8 nov 2012Buona opzione per chi abbia voglia di passare qualche giorno a Chicago a prezzo ragionevolissimo senza restare rintanato in camera (si veda più in là). L'hotel (forse meglio chiamarlo Motel) ha una posizione ideale, è a 10 min a piedi dal centro, a 2 passi da 2 linee di Metrò e facilmente raggiungibile in auto. Camera parecchio fredda per via del riscaldamento renitente (soggiorno in novembre). Ci tornerei! Di fronte alla reception baretto "caratteristico"con colazioni su misura

I was confirmed for a king-sized bed, yet received a full. Aircon/heat in room didn't work & although I tried calling the front desk several times, no one answered ANY of the extensions I tried. People in the adjoining room screamed/banged on walls all night but yet again, no answer at the front desk to help rectify this. First hotel I've been at that […] I felt afraid. Attempted phone check-out in AM, no-one picked up. I travel for biz 3 weeks out of the month and have never experienced unresponsive staff the likes of this. Awful. "Comfortable and convenient"
If you have an early flight out of O'Hare, I highly recommend staying at the Hilton O'Hare. The rooms were clean and comfortable and we only had to cross the street to be in our terminal. We weren't disturbed by airplane noise (but then again we were there between 2am & 6am). In room internet access is a free service provide by most, less expensive hotel chains. I couldn’t believe there was an extra charge for internet, at the most expensive hotel, I have stayed in recently. This hotel had a very good nightly rate when pre-booked and it is easy to locate due to the signage all over the airport. Check-in lines were horrendously long, but the room was very clean and there was the possibility of getting food late at night. "Fine hotel to stay at before flying out"
It's a very nice airport hotel. Our flight was early so it was perfect. We didn't hear any airport noises and our window was facing it. The staff there were all super nice and helpful. There's nothing to walk to unless you like hanging out in airports. The restaurant was delicious but pricey. Early in the morning there was banging around in the hallways […] but some of it were other guests. The bed was comfy but we had the handicapped room so it was laid out a little odd. Everything was great about the hotel, the staff was great, the rooms were clean and comfortable. The only issue was the bathrooms were small and you could only get 2 dbl beds. NO 2 Queen beds in the same room. The "affordable" meal was still very expensive but that is what comes with limited eats when you don't have your own transportation. "Too much for too little"

Overall, everything was great. For us, the location adjacent to the airport was perfect. We didn't think we should have to pay extra to use the gym ($25 per person per day) and the overnight parking fee was very high. "Mediocre room in perfect location with snarky desk"
The person who checked my daughter and me in spoke so rapidly we had to ask her three times to repeat what she had said. She then retorted "I am speaking slowly!" We pointed out that if that were true to our ears (the guests) we wouldn't have had to point it out. God Help the non-English speaker who stays here. We had trouble getting to the hotel on […] our return as the exit is not well-marked from the highway. We drove in circles for an hour without seeing a sign and the one we did see led to a dead end. Then it was spring time change night and the room alarm clock was a manual reset one that would not be reset until the following day which made us very unsure about whether we were ontime for our flight. It would have been a nice touch for the hotel to hand out a card to guests on that day explaining the time change and what time it will really be when the room clock says a certain thing until it is reset by housekeeping staff. They could offer to send housekeeping staff to the room at time of checkin to make the change then. We handled it but again - God help the non-English speaker who arrives from abroad from a country that doesn't have daylight savings time and has to catch a flight the next morning after losing an hour overnight! "Hard To Reach"
I thought my experience would be much different. It took forever to find the HIlton inside of O'Hare. There are no easy signs to give an idea of where to go. Also, the room amenities weren't up to par. We couldn't use the fridge since it was zip tied and full of other stuff. We also wanted to order pizza from Pizza Hut but we couldn't since the hotel […] was only contracted to maybe four other restaurants. Wasn't worth it.
