Recensito da un utente di Hotels.com in data 14 feb 2013Tutto come indicato al momento della prenotazione, hotel tranquillo ma in OTTIMA posizione per visitare la citta' ma anche per la sera. Il ns. aereo e' atterrato alle 23:00, arrivati in hotel alle 23:30 e alle 23:45 eravamo gia' davanti a un ottima 'cana con tapas' in Alameda de Hercules, piazza piena di locali a 2 passi dall'hotel Cervantes.

Recensito da un utente di Hotels.com in data 30 gen 2013Visto il prezzo economico dell'hotel, direi che siamo stati mediamente soddisfatti. Le stanze sono piu' piccole e piu' vecchiotte di quello che sembrano dalle foto. La colazione c'e', ma e' scarsina, in piu' ci sono pochissimi tavolini disponibili, rispetto alle camere, e durante il nostro soggiorno c'era un gruppetto che monopolizzava a lungo tutti i tavoli (quindi si è mangiato in piedi). Nella descrizione dell'hotel è scritto che nelle stanze c'è il riscaldamento, in effetti c'è, ma è effettuato con una stufetta a infrarossi a parete, dall'aria piuttosto inaffidabile. Il bagno invece non è assolutamente riscaldato. E' scritto inoltre che in bagno c'è l'asciugacapelli, ma non è vero (è necessario chiederlo in reception, e non sempre è disponibile). E' anche scritto che la struttura offre trasporto gratuito da e per l'aeroporto, e la stazione, ma una volta in albergo ci hanno detto che non e' cosi'. Per il resto, il posto è mediamente pulito, il personale gentile e la posizione OTTIMA. Si trova al primo e secondo piano di una casa, senza ascensore, quindi non e' adatto a chi a difficolta' a camminare/salire scale.

L'unica cosa negativa è il fatto che le camere hanno un'esposizione che affaccia al cortile interno e spesso non sono luminose. Comunque per il resto, ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo, lo consiglierei.

"Ottimo hotel per turismo"
Perfetto. Ottima posizione, vicino all'Alcazar, ai ristoranti e allo shopping. Personale molto disponibile e cordiale; abbiamo segnalato un problema con l'acqua calda alle 8 di sera, al nostro rientro dalla cena era già tutto a posto. Ottima colazione, molto ricca e varia, di ottima qualità. Camera grande e pulita, forse l'arredamento un po' datato. […] C'è una piccola piscina sulla terrazza con vista cattedrale; l'albergo fornisce i teli, c'è un bar e l'angolo con gli spruzzi di vapore d'acqua per rinfrescarsi (quest'anno a Siviglia si arrivava ai 45°C). Abbiamo soggiornato due notti nell'hotel. La stanza, di giuste dimensioni, era posta al terzo piano, si affacciava su un patio interno ed era ben insonorizzata. Possibilità di prepararsi una bevanda calda grazie alla presenza di un bollitore e tisane in camera. La stanza era inoltre fornita di televisore a schermo piatto di buone dimensioni e stirapantaloni. The hotel is in a great location and I found the staff enormously helpful with a variety of requests. The decor of the rooms is slightly dated and they are on the small side but very clean and comfortable. The rooftop pool is great for a few lazy hours in the sun. "Excellent rooms, excellent location"
Stayed for one night to park at hotel and experience Seville by walking. Was able to reserve parking in advance, the hotel was easy to find, easy location to walk to attractions and areas. "Very good hotel to stay for several nights"
The hotel is very close to the city center - 5-8 min to the Cathedral. Room is clean, and rather big. Service in the hotel is very good and all people on front desk helpful. The hotel is located within a 5 to 10 minute walk of all the main sights. It has secure underground parking, clean, smart rooms, and is great value for Seville. Unfortunately the roof-top terrace and swimming pool were closed when we were there (beginning of February), but we'd definitely return in the spring/ summer to take advantage of them. In no way a 4* hotel. Its location is central (about a 10-minute walk from the Cathedral), but there are plenty of options that are more central. The nice part about it location is that it's within equal distance of the Triana bars and the Cathedral. The area around the hotel is also quite good and safe. The bathroom was really clean, and also quite […] nice. The rooms are really clean and the staff is nice and friendly. But: - the cleaning lady walked into our room, which I certainly don't expect in a 4* hotel - the AC was not working Overall, not a bad hotel and I may stay here again -- but there was nothing special about it, and it's certainly in no way 4* in my book. It's quite forgettable. One upside: it has a pool on the top with a really nice view of the cathedral -- highly recommended if you're visiting in the warmer part of the year (we visited in February). I guess it gets very crowded though. All in all, a safe choice if you don't want to take a risk and cleanliness and central location is all you require. "Good location, easy drive in with the aid of Sat N"
We had booked this short stay at the hotel as a break within a break, we were at our appartment on the Costa del Sol, unfortunatly the weather did not favour us for our stay it rained, this together with a bad back, put the damper on our visit. The Hotel however provided a refuge from the rain, it was a shame the in house restaurant was closed for renovation […] but they still managed an excellent breakfast. The location is excellent to visit all major tourist attractions. It is also a block away from the beautiful river that traverses Sevilla and the variety of restaurants in theTriana area. the customer service was outsatnding. We thought this hotel was OK. I felt that this hotel could use some updating. The room we had terrible views and seemed a bit on the small side. The bathroom was nice though! The breakfast buffet was good, with many choices. I would look into other hotels before booking this one, if nothing else is available then this one would do. It does grow on […] you. The Becquer Hotel, has everything one needs on a visit to Seville. Comfortable clean rooms, dining facilities, bar and internet access. Good location for all main attractions. Rooftop pool great for cooling off after a hot day out.Do walk across the Triana bridge at the end of the road and have a sherry at the top of the yellow bar/restaurant at the other end. Bliss.
