Grande albergo sopra ad una fermata della metro in una zona commerciale moderna poco distante dal centro. La camera era confortevole ed ampia ma, in merito alla dotazione e alla manutanzione, sembra più un albergo a tre stelle che a quattro. Tuttavia lo consiglio.

L'ubicazione non è proprio centrale; difficoltoso l'uso dei mezzi pubblici. Peccato la non disponibilità del wifi in camera. Però nel complesso un buon hotel moderno e ben strutturato, da suggerire. Camere e servizio molto validi.

Albergo situato in pieno centro storico (200 metri circa dalla Cattedrale). Tanti bar, trattorie e ristoranti (consiglio il San Marco, era un ex bagno turco) nei dintorni. Vicino la hall dell'albergo c'e' un centro culturale dove la sera c'e' lo spettacolo di flamenco. Il personale dell'albergo e' cordialissimo e disponibile (parlano anche italiano). L'entrata dell'albergo non fa molta impressione ma la camera era pulita, comoda e con un bel bagno. Ufficialmente e' un due stelle solo perche' in Spagna per averne tre bisogna avere il ristorante (che ovviamente non c'e'). Colazione accettabile.

The stay was fine the only thing I was not satisfy with was that the hotel didn't offer any complementary amenities like free internet, safe box, other hotel include these items.

A nice hotel - not expensive, 5-10 min walk and you are in the middle of old town
"Grand lar- surprisingly great"
The hotel allowed me to check in at 2:30 in the morning, they were very accommodating. I was there for holy week and the town was packed with people but my room was quiet and peaceful. The bathroom was beautiful. The breakfast was delicious as well. It's a great hotel and I highly recommend it.
"Nice staff but noisy building"
Staff was very nice and responsive. Rooms are old and not nearly as nice as the lobby, but we don't mind that sort of thing since we don't plan on spending our time in the hotel when we go on a trip. However, the hotel was so noisy that we couldn't sleep. A lot of this is because it's an old building with older features - windows and doors opening and […] closing and the running elevator were enough to wake us up in the morning. "Great for a couple of backpackers!"
First off, I would like to say that our expectations were not that high. I think most people are super critical on hotel reviews (unless you had just a horrible experience). I don't care about hotel food, or whether or not the room was big. I dont travel this far to eat my meals in the hotel. With that said, I really enjoyed staying here. The room was […] a pretty decent size, even for American standards. The bathroom was really big. And there was a balcony! Score! Everythimg was clean. We had a view of the plaza that the hotel was on and we enjoyed it. The room got a little cold (january) but the heater worked and there were extra blankets in the closet so we were comfortable. We walked everywhere! I think the location is perfect. Close enough to all the hooplah, but far enough away. The staff were all very nice, and spoke english and the girl directed us perfectly to a restaurant we were looking for. The only bummer was the wifi is not free. You can pay for it for 12 hrs or 24hrs. Or you can use the computers in the lobby and pay per 15min. If you're looking to get out and about all day and not stay cooped up in the room, then I'd say this place is perfect, especially for the price. We originally only booked for one night and had planned on finding a nicer place to stay for the remaining 4 nights of our time here once we got into town (judging from previous reviews)...but as soon as we got here, we loved it an stayed here the whole 5 nights. "Gran Hotel Lar"
This hotel is clean and tidy enough but is a little away from the main area. It is only a 15 min walk though so for the difference in cost it is probably worth taking. Rooms were clean although a little dark and the lifts always made me feel a little nervous! Reception were on hand with any help you need though and offered a satisfactory stay.
"Seville best host"
I enjoyed the quality of service of this hotel and excelent location which is 15min walking from city center. I have been many times in Seville and by following the tips of the hotel host I discovered that 5min walk was a tapas bar from XVII century.
"Gran Hotel Lar: a 3* disguised in 4*"
I was very disappointed by this hotel. It claims to be a **** hotel, but although the beds were moderately comfortable, there were many bad things: 1) rooms too small (I had a bed for one person), 2) antiquated TV, not even a flat screen, 3) very bad view (room at the 2nd floor with view in the inside court), 4) neighbours were noisy every night so […] that my 5 nights there were totally destroyed, 5) toilets are noisy and don't flush well and will easily get stuck, 6) bathtub was not even equipped with antislipping thing, 7) light interruptors were not cleverly positioned, 8) room service was extremely noisy and doors shut made a lot of noise, 9) one day I did not get any shampoo at all and had to ask some at the reception, 10) breakfast was disappointing and I took it only once for 9 euros, the other days I went to a nearby bar and payed only 3 euros for a coffee, orange juice and two toasts with butter and jam, enough for me. In summary, I was disappointed, and I don't think this hotel should be given 4 stars. 3 is a maximum. Of course, other hotels in Seville may not be better, but this is my opinion on the Gran Hotel Lar. I will try to avoid it the next time. Continua a leggere

We booked this hotel for it's location and ability to park. When we checked in at 2pm (only an hour after check-in started) we were told the hotel car park was full and would have to use a public car park. The speed of service at the reception desk was very slow and we felt that the facilities did not reflect those of a 4* hotel but those of a 2*. "Well worth the money"
OK, so it's not slap bang in the middle of the old town but it's only maybe 10 minutes walk to the cathedral and depending which way you walk a lot closer to the sighs than you think. Considering how much cheaper it is than the more central hotels it's well worth being slightly "out of the way" in my opinion. "Nice hotel!"
This hotel is definitely not a 4 star hotel, but it's really nice considering we usually stay at hostels. Very clean, staff was friendly (on our last day we arrived at the hotel soaked, it was pouring rain outside. They didn't complain and when we asked them to call a taxi so we could go to the airport they did it right away. 5 or 10 minutes after the […] taxi was there and it costs max 30 euros to go to the airport - which was a very good deal for us considering the rain). The shower was not perfect because the water would cool down and warm up several times without you touching anything, but it is bearable. Location is not the best, but considering it's hard to find any metro surrounding the main areas, we had to walk a lot anyways. Oh, there is a TV in the room and breakfast wasn't included. It's always a better deal to have breakfast outside - it's cheaper. Don't miss the tour inside "Plaza de Toros", it's short (about 20 min), but very interesting and costs 6 euros. I found the staff very helpful and restaurant o.k. if a little plain. Hotel car park a little small but o.k..I n all a very pleasant experience and I will stay there again.

Maybe 40 years ago, this hotel would have been 4 stars. Unfortunately, no renovations seem to have been done since then, and to call this a 4 star hotel today is a huge exaggeration. The beds are not comfortable, the furniture in general needs refreshing, the walls are very little sound-proof, so you can easily follow next-door and corridor conversations, […] the toilets are not nice. "Great Location"
This hotel for the price was great! The air conditioning system wasn't working really great, but it was 120 degrees every day. The location made up for anything though. The staff were very helpful.

Het personeel was heel gasatvrij, deed echt moeite om ons dingen uit te leggen en zaken voor ons op te zoeken. De kamers zijn wat oudbollig, maar voor deze prijs zeker niet onder de kwaliteit. De lokatie is goed, je steekt een straat over en je zit in de Barrrio Santa Cruz, met kathedraal, alcazar en Plaza D'Espana op loopafstand. Au premier abord, les drapeaux étant franchement défraîchis, on pourrait douter de la bonne tenue de l'hôtel. A l'accueil, le personnel est plutôt froid mais avec un sourire et quelques mots en espagnol on arrive à briser la glace. Les lieux sont entretenus et il y a trois ascenseurs qui desservent cinq étages. La chambre est spacieuse avec des meubles […] désuets mais le matelas est confortable selon les lits. La chambre est mal insonorisée. Les bruits extérieurs sont vraiment gênants. En effet, sur la place devant l'église, les gens se rencontrent pour parler et les enfants pour jouer au ballon. Les vrombrissements des voitures et les sirènes tonitruantes des ambulances et de la police viennent perturber le sommeil nocturne. Quant à la salle de bain, spacieuse également, la baignoire dispose d'une douchette inamovible fixée au mur. Le mitigeur diffuse de l'eau à une température aléatoire, on peut passer du très chaud au très froid mais pour trouver un compromis ça relève du parcours du combattant. Alors optez pour le bain. Par ailleurs, les serviettes et draps de bain sont manifestement lavés au vinaigre. Le shampoing et le savon sont vraiment bas de gamme alors prévoyez les vôtres. Nous n'avons pas testé le petit déjeuner international car le prix de dix euros par personne est freinant, d'autant qu'à proximité on peut déjeuner correctement (grosses tartines grillées, beurre, confiture, boisson chaude, jus de fruits) et pour trois personnes, on arrive à 8,30 euros. 기차로 세비야 도착하시는 분은 도보이동가능하고 시내와도 그리 멀리 않은 위치적인면이 이 호텔의 장점. 버스이용시 바로 앞정거장서 터미널가는 순환버스도 있음, 그이외에는 4성 호텔치곤 너무 소박하고 시설도 그리 현대적이지 못하나 하루 이틀 이용하는데는 그리 큰 문제는 없습니다. 친절도는 체크인, 아웃할때 말고는 접촉을 하지않아 모르겠음..

"Hotel necesita remodelacion"
El hotel esta ubicado en una buen lugar relativamente cerca de varios lugares de interes turistico pero el hotel no siento que sea de 4 estrellas, necesita mucha remodelacion en las habitaciones, estan un poco desactualizadas y se ve algo descuidado. Se cobra por el servicio de caja fuerte y wi-fi que en la mayoria son gratuitos.

"Gran Hotel Lar Sevilla - sijainti muttei 4 tähteä"
Hotellin sijiainti on hyvä, lähellä keskustaa ja päärautatieasemaa. Hotellin vastaanoton palvelu oli ok mutta huone oli rähjäisen oloinen, ilmastointi ei toiminut vaan piti ainoastaan epämääräistä surinaa ja äänieristys oli heikko.

Jeg boede kun på hotellet en nat, men det fortjener stadig en bedømmelse. Værelset havde alt hvad jeg skulle bruge og sengen var utrolig god. Hotellet var ikke vanvittig flot istandsat, men alt var funktionelt. Afstanden til centrum af Sevilla var god og afstanden til Seville banegård var helt perfekt i mit tilfælde:-) Mit eneste meget lille punkt var […] at der ikke var gratis internet. フロントスタッフがとても親切で片言のスペイン語にも関わらず行きたい場所への道順を地図に書き込んで丁寧に教えてくれました。 泊後、列車でコルドバに向かう予定だったのですがバスターミナルと鉄道駅のちょうど中間にこのホテルがあり、どちらも徒歩で行けて便利でした(どちらも徒歩10分くらい。）旅行ガイドには「駅へはタクシーで」と書かれてたので良い節約に。 部屋に虫の死骸が落ちてたので清潔さを低くしてますが、まぁ常にそんなことはないでしょう。 良いホテルでした。

"no es un cuatro estrellas"
Solo pedía que el hotel fuera, limpio y lo era. Ahora bien, no es un cuatro estrellas ni de lejos , es un dos estrellas si acaso. television de hace 30 años, que solo coge 6 canales,todo muy viejo, ninguna comodidad extra. la cama y punto.

Fue insoportable el nivel de ruido que había en el hotel en general. Se oia a las vecinas de la habitación de al lado cuado hablaban,, se oia la t.v. la puerta chirriaba al abrir y cerrar y para colmo había una boda o evento similar que colapsó la entrada durante varias horas.
