White Oaks Resort & Spa Niagara-on-the-Lake

Fantastic property with incredible amenities. The gym is to die for and the tennis and squash courts are like none I've ever seen. The bar's decor was impeccable and ultra hip. Our room was simple modern and very well kept. I would stay again. Very close to wineries and the Welland Canal. St.Catharines should not be overlooked!! Don't bother with the […] falls. This was our second stay here. The staff are amazing; helpful, attentive, friendly and go the extra mile. We had checked in after participating in a 30K race, which I happened to mention at the front desk. They had complimentary protein smoothies and a fruit platter sent to the room! A welcome surprise! I would highly recommend this resort!

We stayed the end of February for a couple of days and found the hotel to very nice, the service was excellent and friendly and if we had question the staff is very knowledgeable. The only thing we found is that the food and drinks are over priced. But we did find some other places within a short drive to eat that was more to our liking for price. loved the use of recreation facility, it is fantastic

We selected the hotel for location, rating, cost…and they delivered on all three. We ate from both the Play and Liv menus. While the Liv menu was costly, the food was good, but not of value. In-room, I had oatmeal, served with berries. It was warm and excellent, the toast was cold, but that was expected. I visited both the spa (85 minute massage) and […] gym (cardio room). Both were exceptional—clean, excellent service, top rate machines, nice amenities. We didn’t use the pool, but as a swimmer, the pool and hot tub looked clean and well maintained. The hotel was about 15-20 minutes from all the places we wanted to visit. What I like most about the hotel is that it is family owned. You can tell by the intimacy of service. We didn’t realize when checking in that we selected a double bed room. The beds are doubles, not queens, and too small for both of use to sleep in one bed. To upgrade to a king, is $20 a night additional. However the free wifi was nice. Overall, great place to stay! Continua a leggere

Excellent stay

I was in for business I wish I had more time to enjoy this faboulous hotel. I will definatly book again when back in the Niagara Region. The Restaurant and Bar had a great atomophere.

Nice hotel, very clean and great service. A very good value for the price. I will stay again and yes the have a keurig coffee maker in the room so bring your favorite flavors :)

We have stayed at White Oakes twice and both times were pleasantly pleased. The location is great access to hwy if also going to niagra falls which we did do..it is away from the business of the Queen Street attractions yet a quick drive to it..we went twice to town..parking is free in December! This hotel is 10/10. The hotel is amazing, and the service was incredible. For anyone visiting Niagara on the Lake, staying at White Oaks resort is a must! You won't find a better deal or better customer service at any other hotel.

We only stayed one night so we couldn't take advantage of all the hotel has to offer, like the full spa and exercise club. Everyone was polite and professional. The decor is well above average with some unique features. One feels special staying there. We appreciated their dedication to being "Green" and we hope they will continue being leaders in the […] field and helping to educate their patrons with notes and suggestions for personal use. I'm originally from Niagara and have been to White Oaks on a number of occasions but never over night. We are in Niagara quite a bit and usually stay various places in St. Catharines or Niagara Falls. Value for money is second to none. As long as there is a room available this is where we plan to stay from now on.

Very clean, comfortable hotel, friendly service, no complaints about actual hotel itself. Very spacious rooms. But a bit of a drive to Niagara Falls

I attended for a conference and brought my husband and 3 year old son along. the room was huge, clean and had its very own Keurig!!! The food and service provided by the hotel for the conference was superb. My husband and son made great use of the pool and the staff treated them like gold in the cafe. This hotel was a lovely hotel. The rooms were contemporary (little cheaply done) but very comfortable and spacious. the service was great other than they offer internet on the TV but when we called, they said that was an old service that they no longer provide. it should not be an option in the hotel guide or on the television.

Great hotel with a classy and chic feel. I was there for an anniversary weekend and my wife and we loved being right in the middle of wine country with Niagara a short drive away. Wonderful food ambiance and decor...

Friendly efficient staff. Large well appointed rooms. Clean and attractive in rooms, hallways, entry, restaurants, wonderful pools, work out rooms. Easy access by car to theaters for shawfest!! A very pleasant stay!!

From the website and images I was expecting modern luxury what I found was a bit of a hybrid. The King Bed room was spacious but sparsely populated with dated furniture. The bed, which was great was a good 15 feet away from the 36'' TV. All of the amenities promoted on the website and on this site, with the exception of the gym, which is absolutely […] stellar are pay for use. Overall I think I just was expecting more modern chic, better decorations and quality in the room. Based on this visit and the cost of the room there is no way I would ever stay again, it is terribly overpriced when it comes to value for money. The Play restaurant is great I must say, as is room service, all reasonably priced except for the bottle of water that i had to mortgage my house and sell my first born to pay for. The hotel is nice and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff working at the hotel are great, and definitely more friendly than the average hotel staff. The location is pretty good if you have a car.

Great hotel across the board. Very spacious and clean with great service. It's 10 minutes out from the wineries and Niagara on the Lake, but it's an easy and pleasant drive there. Quick access to the QEW from the hotel if you are doing a day trip to the Falls or Toronto.

This was the first time I stayed anywhere in Niagara on-the-lake, and I would definitely stay and book another weekend at White Oaks. Everything was wonderful, the staff was so friendly and helpful and the rooms were perfect. The hotel and its surroundings were beautiful.

We spent two nights at the White Oaks, attending a wedding. The one outstanding aspect of this hotel is just how genuinely happy the staff are. They are well treated by the owners and it showed constantly during hotel guest interaction. Very friendly and accomodating, always eager to help.

The hotel and the service was delightful!

We enjoyed the accomodations and the use of the pool during our stay. We may make plans in the future to stay longer and enjoy more of the ammenities. The service and information given by your staff was first rate. Thanks for the hospitality/

STAFF ARE FRIENDLY. BEDS ARE CLEAN.

It was nice to have the sleep cd in the room. However, did not travel with a computer, so was unable to access it. Perhaps you could purchase alrm clocks with cd player. Pillows are too high. My preference is a flat pillow. Air condition: Found it noisy. No consistency with the temperature - so found it hot/cold during the night. Perhaps having the […] temperature regulated through the hotel might be the solution. Food was excellent at LIV and also at the bar/grill. Cannot understand how the wrong address appeared on the bill and had to go to the desk to have it changed. Starbucks prices higher than other locations. Starbucks prices are already high enough no need to raise the price! Really liked the touch of fresh flowers around the hotel and the way the hotel was decorated. Staff members very polite. This is a wonderful hotel! Only drawback is it's not right downtown Niagara on the Lake. You definitely have to drive there, unless your a bicyclist. Even so, it's only about 10-15 minutes drive. I agree with other reviews that the outside of the hotel is deceiving. It is really, really lovely inside and the gardens are gorgeous-especially for anyone […] wanting photos-such as for a wedding. We found our linens and bedding very comfortable, the room exceptionally clean. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. We borrowed a wheelchair for my mom and it was so helpful. We couldn't use the spa, because there were 4 of us and they couldn't accommodate our scheduling needs, but I would suspect that's great as well. Five stars for sure in my book! Continua a leggere

Not much to complain about. The hotel is very nice, the staff are incredibly friendly and efficient, service is outstanding. Hotel is by off by itself, nothing around it, a minute or so from the Q.E.W. (although you would never know it--no noise) and an easy 15 minutes or so into Niagara-On-The-Lake. Without fail, every hotel staff we encountered went out of their way to provide the best of service. The service was better than any of the 100s of hotels I have stayed at in the past. Definitely worth the money.
