Sono appena tornata da Edimburgo dove sono stata insieme a mio marito ed una coppia di amici. Il Knight Residence è stato una magnifica sorpresa sin dall' arrivo davanti al portone dove sul pannello dei campanelli abbiamo visto i nostri nomi che poi abbiamo ritrovato sulle targhette delle porte degli appartamenti. La grande attenzioni per il cliente […] sono proseguite con la cordialità del Consierge che con precisione e simpatia ci ha accompagnati e spiegato tutte le utilità degli appartamenti. Appartamenti davvero spaziosi, ben curati ed arredati, pulitissimi: ci si sente a casa propria! Ottima la posizione: vicinissima ( a piedi) a tutti luoghi di interesse, ai mezzi pubblici e a tanti negozi, pub e ristoranti. Quando torneremo a Edimburgo torneremo al Knight Residence che consigliamo a tutti, specie a famiglie, per la tranquillità, la comodità della struttura e la cortesia del personale. The location of the Knights Residence is excellent to most of the sights of Edinburgh, especially in the old town. The apartment is spacious with all the amenities one would expect, including milk, juice, and butter waiting in the fridge on arrival. There is a Tesco Local a very short distance away for any provisions one may need. The concierges were […] very nice and helpful with anything we needed. The only thing that might detract, were the small strip clubs down the street, but they were very quiet and really barely noticeable, even on the weekend. I wouldn't even mention it except...well...they were there and my 15-year-old daughter thought it was pretty funny. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone, and will be booking it again next time I find myself in Edinburgh. Continua a leggere

We were expecting a generic hotel room, but we got a two bedroom apartment with kitchen and living room. It would have been great if we had been traveling with the family and will return next year. The staff was professional and welcoming. The location is close to everything and most of the old town was within walking distance. We don't usually stay in apartments but were impressed by this one. Clean and comfortable with a reasonably priced car park. Good location - most, if not all, sights within reasonable walking distance.

This was a serviced apartment. Separate Bedroom, living room, and Bathroom with a decent sized bath. Flat screen TV's in the living room and bedroom. DVD player in the living room (selection available for rent in the foyer). Milk, Orange, Cereal, Bread, Tea all inclusive. Very clean and comfortable. Helpful manager/consierge.

The duty manager was fantastic; extremely friendly, knowledgable and helpful. They set you up with breakfast and really leave no convenience "unturned." Rooms, kitchen and bathroom all very clean. Great private parking off street with great access to hotel. About a 5-10 minute walk to the Edinburgh castle and the Royal Mile at a leisurely pace. I can tell you the apartment was everything and more that we hoped for. It was super clean, super comfortable, and in a great location. The hotel is in a good location, short stroll to the castle, Royal Mile and shops in the new town. Excellent - the staff really are as good as all the reviews say. Don't be put off by comments about the neighbours they had no impact on our stay. The location, walking distance to all the main sights was excellent. Best of all a washer/dryer to deal with the typical Edinburgh weather and the mud on Arthur's Seat. The staff were full of insights on […] the locality and the welcome breakfast things meant after a long journey there was no need to dash out for milk, bread cereals etc. Even fruit juice and delicious shortbread. Just relax - which is how we felt all weekend. But, if you are desperate, Sainsbury's is just round the corner. The DVD collection kept the teenager amused and we particularly liked the rather thoughtful touch of including films with a local relevance (Burke and Hare/De Vinci Code). Will definately be back. The staff was wonderful. Showed us to our room and showed us how to work everything. The location was great (5-10 minute walk from Castle and Royal Mile. Parking in secure lot was 6 pounds a day which is a great deal. Room and 2 bedrooms and a cot (crib) was already in one of the rooms upon arrival b/c a i called ahead. Wife left very expensive jewelery […] in the room on accident the day we checked out and we called and the staff went up to the room and collected it for us and kept safe at the front desk until we returned from exploring the city. Brilliant service, warm welcoming and so very friendly and helpful! We were given a free upgrade from a one bedroom apt to a 2 bedroom superior, free of charge and without request! Very spacious, comfortable, clean, and with everything you could possibly require for a short stay. Complimentary bread milk orange juice and cereal too. We wanted to visit […] the zoo so we were given a map and directions by the receptionist, who was more than happy to help, to a bus stop close by to take us directly to the Zoo as it was the cheapest and most convenient option. On our last day we checked out and after paying for 2 nights parking, were welcomed to leave our car in the car park free of charge for the rest of the day until we were ready to go back home. Superb staff and service. Safe and secure. Excellent location and transportation/walking options. Sheets on beds didn't fit, shower a bit tight but I'm 6'5" tall. Overall: exceeded expectations are very good value.

Fab service, allowed us to check in at 11.30 as arrived then with 6 month old. Upgraded to a 2 room apartment even though had only booked a 1 bed. The staff couldnt have been more friendly or helpful. Great breakfast hamper. What a cool place. We got a 2 bedroom apartment. There was milk in the frig, cereal and a loaf of bread in the kitchen. It was clean. It is a good location but there are two strip clubs next store. There was no noise pouring out of them. They were just there.

The service could not be better. The guys in reception could not be more helpful and friendly. Accommodation was very nice, everything you can think of was available to us. This will be the only place where I will stay when in Edinburgh again.

The residency was on the whole very good, the staff were very informative and attentive and the rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. The down side was the area that the apartments were situated; there were 3 lap dancing clubs within 30 metres of the front door. My wife and I stayed for 2 nights (Fri & Sat) and although we could not fault the apartment , we had an awful 1st night with the apartment above deciding to party from 3-5am. We complained the next morning and night 2 was much more peaceful. Overall a great location and staff very attentive. Hotel needs to act tough with late night noise.

Great apartment, very clean and comfortable. A home away from home! Welcome pack very comprehensive with more than enough cereals, jams, butter etc to last us our whole stay (4 days). Staff very friendly and welcoming and able to answer all our questions about Edinburgh.

This is the second time I have stayed here and will stay again. The first was in a 1 bedroom apartment for 2 and the second in a 2 bedroom apartment for 4. The service and friendliness of staff is exceptional. The welcome pack, even though we knew about it in advance, was a great bonus and provided more than enough for breakfast for the duration of our stay (3 nights in total) It is just up the road from a Sainburys for all other requirements. Location in Old Town on Castle end of Royal Mile next to GrassMarket at the base of the Castle. Surrounding establishments include small Sansibury grocery store, small shops and bars. The bars are active to early morning period and their patrons are generally quiet. Access to from Railway station is taxi ride at 5 GPB or 15 - 20 minute walk. Access […] to airport is by taxi at 20 GPB, Airlink Bus at 3.5 GBP (St Johns stop and 10 minute walk), or local bus at 1.5 GBP. We found location acceptable and would use it as a base again. Accommodations allow flexible eating arrangements similar to conveniences of home. Electronics include flat screen TVs, DVD with complementary room selection and Hotel library at 1GBP, and audio system. Chairs, sofas and bed are comfortable. In room safe is easy to use with volume for papers and portable electronics. The staff makes you feel at home in your apartment including your name on the front door as well as on the entrance to the building. Excellent Scottish hospitality. The Knights Residence is lovely, comfortable, and has a wonderful staff.It was fairly conveniently located. However, I did not like being in an area surrounded by strip bars/clubs, including one 2 doors down. Lots of signs about lap dancing, & more.
