La colazione era poco varia e scarsa. Poco attenti alla pulizia dei tavoli nei cambi degli ospiti durante la colazione. La camera confortevole e pulizia giornaliera con cambio asciugamani e lenzuola a giorni alterni.

L'hotel 17 è un'ottima scelta per un soggiorno a New York, con un eccellente rapporto qualità rapporto/prezzo. La posizione è tra i suoi pregi migliori, logisticamente comodo per spostarsi anche a piedi sia verso il nord che verso il sud di manhattan, e il quartiere offre una vasta scelta di ristoranti e locali per cene e colazioni. Le camere sono abbastanza grandi e pulite, il bagno condiviso non lo abbiamo praticamente mai trovato occupato e sempre pulito.

L'hotel è nuovo e si trova in una buona posizione, a due passi dal Madison Square Garden e da Times square. La camera era grande ed i letti molto comodi. Uniche due pecche significative sono state, la wifi in camera funziona molto male (meglio nella lobby) e il pavimento che non è mai stato lavato (i calzini antiscivolo delle bambine erano neri dopo 5 minuti). Inoltre non vengono forniti accessori da bagno tipo le cuffie per fare la doccia.

Bellissima permanenza, punto ideale per visitare la città collegatissimo e a due passi dalla 5th. Camera non enorme ma comfortevole, sempre pulita e molto curata nell'arredamento. Albergo ad altissimo livello, se avete qualche soldino da spendere andateci. Enjoy NYC

"Ottimo rapporto qualita/prezzo"
L'ideale per trascorrere pochi giorni nella Grande Mela. Struttura un po'vecchiotta ma assolutamente funzionale. Colazione discreta inclusa. Personale molto disponibile. Posizione ottima nonche' strategica e leggermente meno caotica di Time Sq. Tutto a portata di mano, metro inclusa. Macys, H&M in piazza! "Hotel Stanford, ottimo hotel in ottima posizione"
Ottima posizione, hotel vicinissimo alle principali linee di metropolitana e praticamente a meno di un quarto d'ora a piedi da Times Square. Tutti i principali negozi sono nelle immediate vicinanze. La nostra era una camera a due letti singoli, spaziosa e accogliente. La colazione a buffet è sempre la stessa - pane, ciambelle e muffin con succo di frutta […] e tè o caffè - ma ci si può assolutamente accontentare. Unica nota negativa: per 12 piani esiste un solo ascensore, cosa che specie al mattino può fare perdere parecchio tempo. Chiedete una camera entro i primi piani. Continua a leggere
"new york - indimenticabile"
la posizione dell'hotel è strategica. a piedi passi dalla 6° alla 5° strada. La colazione, pur non essendo all'italiana maniera è sufficiente (se non basta vi è un bar o un altro bar/ristorante all'interno) bagno ampio,personale cortese.

Hotel mediocre, alcune incompresioni iniziali, posizione ottima vicino a Times Square, Madison Square Garden e 5th avenue...colazione scadente, pulizia buona.
"centralissimo e confortevole"
Io e il mio fidanzato abbiamo appena trascorso 4 notti in questo hotel e ci siamo trovati molto bene. La stanza con letto queen size non è enorme ma ha un bel letto con piumino e cuscini molto soffici, la stanza è pulita e il bagno è nuovo e spazioso. Gli unici difetti, a voler proprio essere puntigliosi, sono la mancanza di un ripiano in bagno dove […] appoggiare asciugamani e beauty-case, la scarsità di asciugamani in dotazione (1 piccolo e 1 grande a testa, mentre in altri hotel ne forniscono 3 o 4 a testa), ma non abbiamo chiesto di riceverne di più, e il termostato un pò antiquato (ma funziona benissimo sia l'aria condizionata che il riscaldamento). Le camere sul retro hanno vista sul muro di fronte ma sono silenziosissime. Lo consiglio per la posizione centralissima a 100 mt dalla Penn Station e 300 mt da Times Square, con fermata della metro proprio accanto, e per l'ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo, anche in confronto ad altri alberghi dei dintorni, rinomati ma in realtà squallidi e costosi. C'è anche una saletta internet aperta fino a tardi, ha solo 2 PC ma è spesso libera e tranquilla. La hall è piccola, ma ha un grazioso bar attiguo dove servono una discreta colazione che per noi era inclusa nel prezzo (caffè, succo di frutta e ciambelle a volontà). Ci tornerei anche domani! "Mediocre at Best"
Convience to bus drop and access to subways was about the best comfort offered here. If you simply need a place to stay this will work. The room was adequate. The hotel lobby was not quite a real lobby. The hallways were narrow and the room size no more than needed to survive. Not upset just looking for more. Skip this one if you can.

"Good value"
Overall good value for an excellent location. Far from business class, but good enough when you pay for yourself and just need a fair place to sleep and rest. Friendly staff. Would consider it again.
"No Outlets!!!"
The person checking me in was on cloud 9 and forgot to give me my key and then forgot to give me my ID back, so check-in took 15 minues. While checking in, the lobby filled with a group of 15 loud tourists and their luggage (which comes with the neighborhood), it is a tourist location. When finally in the room, I swear there was not a single outlet […] to be found in my room. I had to unplug the refrigerator to plug in my laptop. We really enjoyed this hotel, it was very clean and comfortable, luxury bathroom, close to shopping mall. Many Chinese restaurants close by and a 24 hour deli/convenience store right across the street. The staff were very friendly and we were able to leave our luggage at the front lobby while we went to a few shows. We also got a free room upgrade.

Trip Advisor indicates a 4 star rating from feedback received?! Can't believe it's the same hotel. For the 5 days we were wishing we had booked next door at the competition! Great location and ok if on a tight budget otherwise you'll be disappointed. Hardly any control of heating/cooling, included breakfast we were handed a plastic tray with plastic […] cutlery and the choice was bagels or iced dognuts! "Highly Satisfied"
I'm glad to say that I am very satisfied with this hotel. I was really in love with the shower they had to offer!! Great location with lots of attractions. Times Sq and lots of shopping in walking distance. 15 mins tops. Definitely would stay here again.
"Priced Right for Location"
Hotel in nice location. Parking garage right across the street for those of you driving into the City. One of our two rooms at least 95 degrees throughout the night. Hotel staff disinterested in problem. Would not consider a discount on the stay. Breakfast basically bagels and donuts. This area also very hot.

The location is an easy walk to many things including the theater district, Times Square, or the Empire state building. The room I got was clean and well maintained with a microrefrigerator. We only needed to stay one night at a reasonable price and this turned out to be great choice. Conveniently located about a block away from Penn station, clean, comfortable. Twin beds were a bit tiny but then again for the price it was a great place

The rooms in the pictures and what they really look like, don't really match. I don't particularly care in this instance because I was just going there for a night. The rooms are not really updated (at least mine wasn't) and the shower head had very really pressure and it drained really really slow. We have a very nice stay at the Hotel Stanford. Our room was very comfortable and very quiet! The decorations were not brand new - but everything was clean and the staff was so nice so we really didn't mind whether it was very modern or not. Besides, the price was wonderful! Thank you!
"Hotel Stanford--great location, all you need"
We picked this hotel because it was only a few blocks from the Megabus stop, allowing us to quickly drop off our bags and start enjoying NYC for our 30 hour stay. We were impressed by the overall condition and cleanliness of the rooms. We stayed in a twin/twin room, and while somewhat small (hey, this is New York after all), the room was immaculate, […] attractively furnished in an upscale manner, and had a very spacious bathroom with plenty of shelf room for our toiletries. The continental breakfast the next morning was straightforward (assorted danish, coffee, juice), which I think was a plus...no powdered scrambled eggs or long waits at the waffle iron. Ugh. The person checking us in also accommodated our request for a room on the top floor, away from traffic noise, and the room delivered...very quiet, and with great room darkening curtains. This is not a full scale luxury hotel...the doorman didn't offer to take our bags up to our room, for instance...but overall, the staff was very friendly and professional, and we were extremely pleased with our stay. "21st Birthday Celebration"
We arrived in New Yor for a three day shopping trip, to celebrate my daughters 21st birithday. The hotel staff were all friendly and proffessional. The location was terriffic. Empire State Building , Macy's and Broadway within walking distance. The complimentary breakfast and afternoon tea was lovely. It was a pleaseure to stay there.

"Nice, clean, simple NYC hotel"
I wanted to try out a moderately priced hotel in the area and settled on the Stanford based on positive reviews. The room was small, as expected in NYC, and a little old fashioned, but it was clean and everything worked. So did the rest of the hotel and staff and I was pleasantly surprised. While the location of the hotel was quite good, the hotel itself is showing significant signs of wear. It sorely needs an update. Room was worn thin, both the mattress and pillows were extremely uncomfortable, and the television set was old, small and had extremely limited channels. Unfortunately, the most disturbing issue was the pair of socks I found […] between the sheets at the bottom of the bed, which seemed to clearly indicate that the room had been haphazardly cleaned between guests, and that the sheets were most likely not completely fresh although the bed had been made. Wonderful! Amazing location within walking distance to everything. Broadway theatres, 5th Ave shopping experience, Empire State Bldg., Macy's flagship store, and more and more and more. "Close to Madison Square Garden, great location!"
Wonderful location in Mid-Town, a subway station only one block away and close to everything NY has to offer. Clean, well-presented hotel with smallish rooms but more than adequate, after all you don't travel to NY to be in a hotel room. We booked the entry level room (standard) and we got a room on the ninth floor, with "views" over a car park. Breakfast […] was included as well and whilst basic, all one needed for a start into the day was provided: bagels, cream cheese, jam, donuts, juice, milk, coffee, tea. The only downside was that the hotel charges for internet, at a price that I personally found quite steep. There is a business center on the second floor and free WiFi in the lobby, however if internet is not required for work whilst in the room, free WiFi is readily available anywhere, for example Starbucks. "If You must"
I mean, yes i wanted to be near alot of the city features, but this place leaves alot to be desired. I mean for the price it isn't horrible if you just plan on crashing, but it was very much and old hotel with very old features. If you need to use lobby bathroom you share it with the Vietnamese restaurant next door, it is in the center of Vietnamese […] town. The continental breakfast is held at a little shop a joined to the hotel, seating is very limited, and if you want o grab a muffin and coffee and eat in you room, you will pay for it..literally. "Hotel Stanford - Great Location, Quiet Rooms"
We found the location to be very convenient (on or near several subway lines and only one stop from Times Square) and our room surprisingly up to date and quiet. The continental breakfast was bagels and pastries and apples - nothing special but still nice to not have to pay extra for breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful. this hotels is located at korean town, if you're into korean food, this is the right choice for you. getting around town is easy since it's close to a subway station. there is one thing i dislike, the heater is my room made an annoying noise at night. overall, recommended hotel for traveller that seeks cheap and strategic hotel in nyc.

"Hotel Stanford Great Location"
I chose this hotel based on it's convenient location and relatively inexpensive rate for a single night stay in NYC. We had a room on the 6th floor of this 11th floor hotel and were able to check in two hours early! Gave us an opportunity to explore without lugging our suitcase around the city. Our room was quiet and comfortable. Elevator a bit slow […] as mentioned in other reviews. Also morning breakfast was as expected for a freebie. We had a cup of tea and split the last croissant. Our train didn't leave until later in the day and I asked if we could store our suitcase after checking out. The helpful clerk said it was a complimentary service! Gave a tip to the bellman when retrieving our bag. Pleased with the overall value and hotel experience. Felt safe in the Korean neighborhood. "Awesome Stay"
We stayed in the executive suite with our two sons 20 and 24. Lots of room for luggage, great furniture and decor! Rooms were VERY CLEAN. Beds and pillows great and bathroom was super and clean. Staff friendly and all were helpful and very pleasant. We all liked the breakfast. Loved 2nd floor room. Location was wonderful. We highly recommend Hotel Standford!!!
