Whoever gave this hotel 4 stars was definately on the take. Every room in a 4 star hotel should be for 4 star quality. First off, I got the attic room that everyone talks about, which I do not mind because I am short. What really bothered me was the fact the AC was a tiny box in a corner that could only cool off 3 feet in front of it. Cold AC is a standard […] of a 4 star hotel. Plus the bed sheets weren't very soft and ofcourse the headroom was not there for most people. My room looked nothing like the pictures. On the plus side we had a jacuzzi style tub, but don't try to stand or you will hit your head. The breakfast was good and the staff was nice. It is also well situated if you want to go to th beach. this hotel is located near the last boatbus station so it makes t possible for u to get to the hotel at any time 24hours a day because all of the boat buses WILL go to the hotel station. the place is very clean and comfortable THE ONLY PROBLEM IS THE INTERNET CONNECTION. the speed is very low(i mean very very very low) and its not free.3euros for 3 […] 0min. This is quite a cute neighbourhood! As newlyweds from Toronto Canada, my husband and I enjoyed ourselves in Lido Island. The decor of course was a little dated as we are more into the contemporary modern scene, but over we were satisfied and would recommend it. fantastic area for romance and cuteness.

Our initial room seemingly was in a converted attic space with no windows; instead just two skylights. You could not stand up straight in the majority of the room or bathroom, as the ceilings were too low. We did get moved to a second room for our second night; that room was better in that you could at least stand up straight; but, it was the smallest […] room I have ever stayed in. The economy room entry is normal height. The ceiling then slopes down to other 3 walls to a height of about 2 1/2 ft. When you get out of one side of the bed, you literally have to double over to avoid hitting your head. When you get up off the toilet, you can't stand upright or you'll hit your head. They put us in the attic room. It's obvious they turned the attic into 3 more hotel rooms which they never should have done. The ceilings are slanted so that there is only 1 place in the entire room you can stand up in. It was clearly never meant to be a hotel room but they charged us the same price for basically 1/3 of a room. You can't stand up to […] take a shower or get to the bed. Nowhere to hang our towels. All of the furniture was slanted at an angle to fit in the room so the wardrobe was tiny and only had 3 hangers. I hit my head on the slanted ceiling several times trying to move around in the room. The elevator doesn't even go up there. When we asked to change our room, the hotel clerk said they had 3 rooms available but more guest were coming the next day and that we had to specifically request not to have that room when we booked. So, somehow the guests that were supposedly coming knew to request not to be in the attic? How exactly is it that every guest is supposed to know the layout of the hotel and request a room THEY CAN ACTUALLY STAND UP IN!? Worst service! The front desk ladies were joking around and making themselves drinks in the bar when we were trying to change our room. Breakfast was good but that's the only positive thing I can say about this hotel. It's 15 minutes away from the Water Bus stop. There are tons of hotels way closer. DON'T STAY HERE! The hotel Russo is not bad, but definitely not 4 star. The staff are very nice and friendly, the breakfast is good. At first, they put us in a room like an attic with irregular ceilings, and then moved us to ground floor. Much better room, but noisy in afternoon when I wanted to take a nap. It is a good 10 minute walk to get the boat to Venice.

Loved everything about this hotel: quiet neighborhood, very good breakfast, nice, comfortable and clean room, very friendly staff. A little bit far from the heart of the city but worth it. Would absolutely stay again.

Das Hotel liegt auf Lido, d.h. zu den wesentlichen Sehenswürdigkeiten Vendigs fährt man mit dem Vaporetto (Wasserbus). Die Haltestelle "Lido" liegt ca. 5 Min. zu Fuß entfernt. hotel soi disant 4 étoiles où l'on doit se mettre à 4 pattes pour se doucher et se coucher. chambre mensardée, qui nous a été donnée le 2eme soir était aussi sous les toits et si je voulais me doucher, j'aui du ouvrir le vasistas et sortir ma tête pour être debout et me doucher . d'autre clients se plaignaient et devaient vous le signaler. Si l'emplacement, l'environnement, l'accueil et la propreté sont irréprochables, il n'est pas admissible pour un hotel 4 étoiles de devoir payer si cher un accés internet et de ne disposer que de sky en italien sur la télévision (lorsqu'elle fonctionne). Le petit déjeuner n'offre pas une variété satisfaisante. Les produits servis sont corrects mais […] trés pauvres en fruits frais. Très bon petit hotel, loin de la foule de Venise et pourtant pas très loin (un vaporetto toutes les 10 MN vers le grand canal); seul le petit déjeuner est un peu basique et pas varié (mais bon café)

Das neu renovierte Hotel liegt in sehr schöne Lage, mit wunderschönem Blick über die Lagune. Das Personal war jeden Tag sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Tolles Personal,sehr sauber, geniale & ruhige Lage, um nach dem Besuch von Venedig auszuspannen...
