posto troppo tranquillo personale fantastico.

"Hotel Art"
The staff ( front desk ) was more interested in their computers than in their guests. Not ONCE during our 5 day stay did any of your staff say hello, or wished us a nice day, or asked if they could be of assistance. The rest of the staff was professional, but it is very difficult to get over the previous issue. It is a pitty, because your hotel has […] potential. Continua a leggere

"Hotel Art Rome"
Nice small hotel in great location for touring Rome. Also close to many shops and restaurants. Service excellent in all areas. .Breakfast very good - other meals on request only. Rooms a bit small but otherwise perfect. and very close to the Spanish Steps metro station.
"Great location, no the best service"
You will get what you paid . This was my second stay and the last! Hotel is showing age and getting tired. The service was just enough but no great.

"Hotel Art - Exceeded our already high expectations"
We stayed here for one night (hopped off our cruise ship and wanted an extra night in Rome). We researched hotels and found hotel art was by the Spanish steps. Great location, beautiful hotel, clean rooms (very spacious for Europe). The bed was very comfortable and our window opened into a very modern courtyard. Each floor was a different colour and […] lit up when you walked down the hall. We were on the yellow floor. It is located down a quiet art street near the Spanish steps. Great if you want a fantastic location, but still want quiet when you sleep. Close to many delicious restaurants, shopping and sites. The breakfast buffet was good (we just had pastries, juice and cappucino - the spread of meats and cheeses were not appealing to us). I would definately recommend art hotel and look forward to staying here next time I'm in Rome :) Continua a leggere
"Hotel Art at the Spanish Steps in Rome"
Great location on an elegant and quiet street. The decor in the hotel misses the mark. It has great bones, but the artistic aspect doesn't really work. The room was quite small and the sheets were horrible. But the breakfasts were lovely and the location was fantastic. It's hard to find a quiet hotel in Rome, and even though it was so close to the steps, […] it was removed and private. Continua a leggere
Hotel Art is on a quiet street and within walking distance of all the sights, the most exclusive shops, and some of the best restaurants in town. If you like both modern and traditional architecture, you will love Hotel Art. The staff and service was excellent and the price more than competitive.

"Hotel Art Rome"
Hotel Art was a great choice for our stay in Rome. It is well located within walking distance to most of the top sights. The road was quiet and peaceful with little noise or traffic. The hotel was comfortable, well appointed and clean. All the staff were great, polite and took time to listen to requests which were always actioned quickly and efficiently. […] They even took the time to help with transport arrangements and made bookings in local restaurant on our behalf. We stayed in a standard double which was approx. 4m square plus a small en-suit with shower, well decorated and in good condition. Although the hotel did not have a separate dinning room, food is served in the general bar area, the quality of the food and service was good. Breakfast fruit bar was very good with a varied selection of great quality. Breakfast also included a small hot buffet, cold meats, fish, cheese and breads. Overall I would rate the hotel highly and would recommend it as a well positioned mid priced hotel. Continua a leggere

"Hotel Art in Rome at the Spanish Steps"
We booked our reservation online and arrived at the hotel to a very attentive hotel staff. We were in our room within minutes of our arrival. The hotel itself is located a block or so away from a main street which kept the noise level down, but within walking distance of all the major attractions. We even walked to the Vatican Museum and the Borghese […] Gallery through the park. A wonderful stroll or bike ride. Each morning had breakfast (included in the rate) at the hotel and were delighted at the wide array of food items. I loved the cappucinos! We arrived in Rome and took the Leonardo Express from the airport to the Termini train station. We took a taxi from the train station to our hotel. FYI...that cost should not exceed 15EU. (We know this because we were ripped off by the first taxi cab driver we met. Negotiate this rate before the driver puts your bags in their car! As far as the hotel was concerned, the rooms were very comfortable, cool, and quiet. It was a wonderful stay at a very interesting hotel in a great location, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to a friend. Continua a leggere
"Hotel Art Spanish Steps"
Well designed and bright hotel. Rooms are fairly small but ample. Service at reception was excellent but at times the waiter service was abrupt and they did not always get the order right. Great location just behind the Spanish Steps (but not requiring you to go up the steps to access the hotel which is a bonus after walking all day).
"Rome High End vs. Bohemian Art Experience"
Pros: The hotel was extraordinarily clean and well maintained. Really. Staff were courteous and remarkably accommodating. The morning of my 5am flight the concierge even offered a cappucino before opening the bar. Obviously via Margutta is pristine and charming, and if you prefer higher end shopping to a more 'bohemian' experience, the location can […] not be matched. Cons: Italian hotel rooms are tiny. I would recommend a suite or, rather, an apartment rental for anything more than sleeping. Lastly, the neon halls are exciting and new at first, but mildly disturbing after late nights with wine. (they seem to vibrate and buzz with electricity...) Continua a leggere
"Great Location!"
Great location, between the Spanish Steps and Piazza del Popolo. Steps from the metro, walking distance (well, everything in Rome is walking distance!) to Fontana di Trevi, Piazza Navona, etc... Clean, contemporary, a good choice! One advice: The taxi price from and to the airport is a fixed price of 40 Euros. If you want to give a tip, 5 Euros is ok. […] But most of the cab drives will try to charge you a different price or run on the meter... Don't allow that! When you enter a cab always take the number of the driver and the phone number of the company. And don't take taxis asked from the hotel, they will call private cars and charge you a 100 Euro! "Outstanding Hotel"
This hotel was so beautiful and original. It was nearby to mostly everything and the Metro was within walking distance. The hotel staff was excellent. I had left my IPOD in my room and they had kept it aside until I was able to contact them and have it sent via FedEx to my home while I was away on vacation. I would 100% return to this hotel for all […] of its amenities and the service we received while we were there. It was a wonderful experience. Continua a leggere

"Beautiful hotel, decent service"
The hotel was absolutely beautiful, clean, etc. The staff at the front of house and at the bar were at times extremely helpful and at others much less so. The sheets on the bed were uncomfortable to the point of actually being loud. But the room was beautiful and well appointed. Amazing location. "Great Hotel"
We booked the hotel for a couple nights in August before our cruise. After researching countless hotels we felt the Hotel Art would meet our needs best. It lived up to our expectations and more. The staff is very nice, the rooms are clean and comfortable. It is just a very short walk to the Spanish Steps and all the shops. The only disappointment (which […] was expected because we read the reviews) was the breakfast buffet. It was fine since it was free, but I wouldn't pay for it. I wish we would have stayed here for the night we were in Rome after our cruise, but we wanted to experience another hotel, and that was a mistake. Continua a leggere
"Wonderful stay"
My wife and I stayed here for three nights recently. It was one of our favorite hotels in Italy. It's location was absolutely perfect. We were able to walk to the Vatican, Forum/Coluseum, and basically every other tourist location. There was really nothing we didn't like about the hotel. Great breakfast, friendly staff, perfect location. That pretty […] much sums it up. The room was small but comfortable and quiet. We would definitely stay here again if we visited Rome. "Location Location Location"
This excellent hotel in the Spanish Steps district was simply a delight. We enjoyed being in the heart of Rome. Most major sites are in walking distance. The metro stop is less than a five minute walk from the hotel door. Breakfast was luxurious and tasty. The concierge staff did a nice job of getting us concert tickets and making dinner reservations. […] They even sent a staff member out to pick up our tickets ahead of time so that we would not have to wait in line at will call. Would pick this hotel again for our next stay in Rome. "Nice but small"
This hotel was very well kept and in a very nice neighborhood. I felt perfectly safe walking around alone, even late into the evening. The staff was extremely friendly and spoke English. The room was very clean, however, it was very small. I know that European hotel rooms are historically smaller than American rooms, but this room was tiny! My room […] had a twin bed in it, and from it, I could reach both walls while laying down! The closet was very small, and I could not reach the sole drawer and safe at the floor of the closet without sitting on the bed. The bathroom was fairly spacious and had a shower. The air-conditioning in the room worked very well, however, the rest of the hotel did not use it. The room was not decorated like it was described in the photos; and appeared to have 1970's wood panneling. It was very sparse and reminded me of a cruise ship I was recently on. Even though this room was so small, I did not complain because they allowed me to check-in early on my day of arrival. The hotel has internet in the room, wi-fi in the lobby; however, it's fairly expensive. Continua a leggere
"Great location but rough linens"
The hotel's location is outstanding as it is only about a 3 minute walk to the Spanish steps. However, the linens were rough and therefore uncomfortable.
"Awesome hotel"
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is in the perfect location (a few blocks from the Spanish Steps).
"Outstanding hotel"
Great location for touring Rome. Frindly, knowlegeable staff. Visually pleasing interior.
"Not your average hotel"
Atmosphere is pleasant and unique for Rome. Unlike other hotels in the area, this is off the beaten path, so despite being in the heart of a very popular area, the area is quite quiet. Usual suspects at the hotel were pleasant and helpful (registration, concierge, restaurant /bar staff), but the housekeeping staff were not to be found when I desperately […] needed an iron. I think I had the smallest room in the hotel, which, were it not for the location, I would have called overpriced. Those looking for a single bed, beware! The size of the room is smaller than a college dorm. Don't get excited if you are looking for a hotel with a gym, like I was. Other than raising your heart rate on one of the three cardio equipment pieces, there is NOTHING there. No weights/ weight machines. Continua a leggere

"All Fluff No Substance"
While the concept of modern art-themed hotels with a contemporary flair sounds inviting, it simply failed to deliver on the most fundamental requirements in a hotel. First, housekeeping was underpar. Turning the bed, was simply folding the corner of our bedsheet! Bathrooms were sporadically cleaned. Second, space was limited and that's an understatement. […] While this is expected in European hotels, the bathrooms took it a whole new level. There was barely room for one person to stand at the sink, you could not turn once you entered the shower.. and in the shower, you had to squat to make sure that you could wash your hair. The issue here is that there were poor design choices and decisions in cluttering up the bathroom. High concept bathroom fixtures were chosen over functionality and space. All things that could have been prevented if someone who designed this new what they were doing. Third, the elevators of the hotel did not always work. You had to wait one or two minutes before it would even close the doors. Fourth, public bathrooms were horribly maintained. On a number of occasions, the toilets were filthy and clogged. This hotel sells you on the concept, but unfortunately it is extremely superficial in its essence, forgetting a lot about who its trying to serve: the customer. The only redeeming factor of this hotel is its location. It's on a beautiful street near some great places to window show, not far from the wonderful Spanish Steps and close to all the important city transport spots (bus, Metro). Continua a leggere
"Hotel Art...is Artful"
The hotel itself was quite lovely with all the necessities and comforts required. The room was well appointed with a comfortable bed, modern bathroom, internet access and A/C. The location was great, walking to many of the sites to see in Rome. And compared to some of the other hotels in the area, the best value for the money.
"Excellent hotel with great location clean and modern"
The Art Hotel is close enough to the action (Spanish Steps, high end shopping, taxis, etc) but on a quiet, beautiful street. While slightly small, the rooms have everything you need and the size truly does not matter. They keep the rooms exceptionally clean, replenshing towels, and the breakfast was excellent! I absolutely recommend this hotel and would […] stay here again! Continua a leggere

Continua a leggere
