L'hotel e' confinante con la zona congressi (CCIB) e altri servizi comodi (centro commerciale, parchi). Inoltre e' vicino alla fermata della metro. La camera aveva alcuni difetti e piccoli danni (fermporta rotto, doccia mal progettata, telefono e luci molto distanti dal letto, ecc.), pero' era molto spaziosa e accettabile per un soggiorno di lavoro. L'hotel ha un aspetto migliore della camera e per questo sospetto che me ne abbiamo assegnata una di qualita' inferiore per via dell'ottimo prezzo avuto tramite hotels.com.

Hotel di charme, moderno, con soluzioni di comfort veralmente originali e piacevoli. Personale molto gentile, disponibile e poliglotta. Centralissimo, vicino ad una miriade di locali, fermate di metro e di autobus. Consigliatissimo.

ottimo, comodo per visitare Barcellona, vicini - parc Guel - Sagrada familia - casa Milla - casa Batllò e quasi tutti gli altri edifici di Gaudi. Molti negozi, ristoranti e bar. Io e la mia famiglia ci siamo trovati molto bene, l'appartamento con due stanze bagno, cucina e soggiorno è praticamente nuovo arredato moderno e funzionale, ottima dotazione (frigo freezer lavastoviglie lavatrice due televisori). Qualità/prezzo ottimo.
Posizione.
Il moderno Barcelo Hotel Sants si trova nel centro di Barcellona, sopra alla stazione ferroviaria e della metropolitana di Sants Orbital. L'hotel dista appena 500 metri dal Palazzo dei Congressi e dal centro espositivo Fiera de Barcelona. La Plaça d'Espanya e il vivace viale Las Ramblas si trovano a 2,5 km. mentre l'aeroporto El Prat di Barcellona (BCN) dista 13 km dall'albergo.
Caratteristiche dell'hotel.
Il Barcelo Hotel Sants vanta una spaziosa hall arricchita da ampie finestre con vista sul parco e sulla città.
Il ristorante con stelle Michelin El Bistrot de Sants serve piatti della cucina mediterranea e catalana. Gli ospiti possono ordinare diverse specialità, inclusi il merluzzo con olio d'acciughe e pomodorini dolci. La verdeggiante collina di Montjuic è stata per lungo tempo luogo di svago e ha raggiunto una fama mondiale durante i Giochi olimpici del 1992. Ammira la vista mozzafiato prendendo la funivia dal porto e poi una seconda funivia, più piccola, che arriva al castello sulla sommità della collina. La zona è ricca di tesori storici e culturali: da non perdere il Museu National de Arte de Catalunya (MNAC) e la Fundació Miró.

"Bello ma poco funzionale"
Palestra a pagamento non gestita dall'hotel, le camere sono arredate molto bene, con uno stile molto moderno e gradevole ma poco funzionali in quanto non vi è una vera e propria stanza da bagno ma il Wc e la doccia sono ricavati in 2 vani separati con accesso diretto dalla camera tramite semplice porte scorrevoli. Inoltre, dopo le ore 24.00, l'accesso […] all'hotel avviene esclusivamente attraverso una scala esterna in ferro con sbarco sul parcheggio rialzato. Colazione molto cara a pagamento circa €10. The hotel is still under renovation, hence the lift that connect the hotel & station doesn't work all the time & the dining area still using their previous hotel design which is rather odd & old. I only stayed at the Barcelo Sants for 1 nights, so I was not able to take advantage of all it had to offer, but the room was fantastic. The funky space age decor is charming, the bed incredibly comfortable, and the amenities were amazing to this weary traveller at the end of the 2-week trip. Free wifi in the room! That works! This hotel was extremely convenient, located right on top of the Sants Train Station. It was very quiet and the rooms were spacious and modern (Star Trek motif). The metro was right underneath at the station (buy a T-10, ten rides for 8.25 Euro) and it was only a few stops to the Gothic quarter. The sightseeing bus stops right in front of the hotel […] and there are lots of restaurants within easy walking distance if you don't want to eat at the hotel. We recently stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. It is located on top of a metro/train station with a taxi and bus hub. It was extremely convenient and easy to get around. The hotel itself was nice and to be in Europe was roomy and comfortable. It had a king-sized bed, flat screen tv and a nice bathroom. Because we travelled Spain by train this hotel right above the rasilway station was ideal for our Barcelona stay. We thought that there might be some rail and road noise but neverheard a sound

the room was satisfactory and the staff was helpful. Transportation was right underneath you at the railroad station. The station also has fast food places for quick breakfast and lunches. Sure many would say there was a lot of noise in the area but there was a street festival going on. The location of the hotel, at the train station, was great for me. Hotel, people, staff, location, metro, bus tours etc...all in the area a few steps from the hotel. Talk about a sweet deal. WOuld I stay here again? Yes.

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed perhaps. Direct train will take you from the airport to the hotel. Funny enough, the hotel sits right above the train station. The hotel lobby might not surprise you, but wait until you see your room. "Step off elevator and on to set of Star Trek!"
Visiting Barcelona during the August holiday rendered some of the more obvious hotel choices closer to Plaza Catalunya too expensive for our budget, so I searched around and found the quirky Barceló Hotel Sants with its orbital themed rooms. We were a little hesitant about the location directly ABOVE the Sants Estacio train station, but this gem of […] a hotel really grew on us over the week. First of all, the location is magnificent...we landed at the airport, walked directly to the train, fare was cheap, and were walking into our hotel in under 30 minutes. We found the lobby is a bit subdued, and the front desk was SO helpful. We quickly had our room keys and the fun began as you step off the elevator into the set of Star Trek! The orbital theme was fun and well executed...who ever designed the rooms thought of everything. Beyond the space aged art, the walk-in shower was the best we'd had in 10 weeks of traveling the world, and the bed was extremely comfy with TONS of pillows. Eventually we realized that we preferred the ease of taking an elevator directly into the train station and being able to cheaply/easily get most touristy places in BCN without switching trains! An added bonus was some of the uncrowded side streets around the neighborhood around the train station, featuring lovely fruit stands and some mom & pop restaurants that were priced well below the more touristy areas near the beach. Finally, our favorite part was the fact that we could walk to/from Montjuic, with it's lovely green space and brilliant vantage points to take in the vibrant city of Barcelona. My wife craves wi-fi, and Barceló Hotel Sants was one of the few places we've stayed with consistent, free high speed internet. Hotel right above the train station. Easy access to the metro and the sight seeing bus stop right outside. We stayed in a orbital room which was great with the room over looking the city. Would stay here again on my next visit and highly recommended to others.

Fantastic hotel with warm and welcoming staff. The lobby area is wonderfully decorated with a fountain and chandelier. My room was spotless. The bed was very comfortable. The black-out blinds (electronically controlled) did a great job at blocking out nearly all the light. The location was great too as the hotel is situated ontop of a main train station. […] A very quick, easy and cheap train ride away from the airport and main barcelona. There is a supermarket across the road which is great if you want to have a picnic on the beach. Only a few small gripes. Tthere aren't many English TV channels. BBC World news and CNN are the only ones. Also, we asked for another pair of slippers as only one pair were supplied, but these were never received. Apart from that, it was a delightful hotel. Great location. We enjoyed our stay. The room was wonderful; very modern and comfortable. The bed was especially comfortable and the shower was large with a rain-like showerhead, directly overhead! The room was very clean. The metro was so convenient because the metro and train station were right below the hotel so it was easy to get to any part of the city and only […] a 15 minute ride to the airport. fantastic out of center location! above the station - go outside towards taxi's, turn right, avoid the smokers, and in the first door, then go up! simple! even easier is the train from the airport (leaves from t2 but bus shuttle from t1 is quick and frequent - get on any train, all go to estacion sants) - 3 euro each way. orbital rooms are clean modern […] and functional, so is room service, everything you would need till i think 1am. early check in (11am!) was fantastic after overnight flight from nyc, but i cant gurantee they offer to everyone/all the time. plus a big plus for us. bar on 1st floor was only one open for us, but a bit $$$, but room rate was reasonable for such a convinient hotel. train, car rental, tourist bus and subway all inside/outside the hotel building so for us it was great... room service pizza, not american style but delicious.. would return to this hotel again when back in barca! Nyrenoverat fräscht hotell med pendeltåg och två tunnelbanelinjer under huset, samt taxi-station utanför entren. Till La Rambla och Camp Nou kommer man utan tunnelbanebyte. Mc Donalds i huset. Dock inte så mycket att titta på just vid hotellet.

"Superbe hotel design"
Une superbe chambre, spacieuse, un grand téléviseur, salle de bain ouverte sur la chambre (original!) , des petits détails (bouilloire,sachets de thés et cafés mis à dispo gratuitement). Tout était parfait, seuls défauts : le bruit que font les femmes de ménage le matin (pas le top si on aime faire la grasse mat!) et la coupure d'eau 1h30 avant l'heure […] limite de libération de la chambre (12h) qui a été rétablie suite à un coup de fil à la réception (qui a prétexté un problème technique).
