"Badly in need of updating"
The hotel is adequate, but everything in it is old and needs replacing. It is very near the airport and you will hear the airplanes in and out all day. That said, it was ok for the price in prime time. Front desk was responsive and dealt with some of our maintenance issues, but others will take longer. Makes me wonder why housekeeping didn't notice […] the broken sliding screen door, broken toilet handle, damaged faucet in the kitchen. The pool was nice as was the hot tub, though both were small. The facility was rather far from Duval Street compared to most places, but was still just a few minutes from the madness. I wouldn't stay there again. "Nice place but lacking a few kitchen essentials."
The condo was a nice size and the beds were pretty comfortable but, it lacked in kitchen supplies and the balcony was very tiny. There were no baking pans or pot holders! I don't think the maid mopped the floors before we came. We noticed our bare feet got dirty the first night. The pool was wonderful. "GOOD FOR THE PRICE"
We arrived after the check in time (4:00-8:00), so reception was closed and it took us almost an hour to find the office because there are 4 resorts in the complex. Once we found the office and the keys taped to the door, it took us another 15 minutes to find our room. The room was accommodating but needed updating - outdated furniture and broken patio […] table top. Kitchen was very clean and convenient. This complex is at the opposite end of Duval Street, so you need to drive or rent bikes. It's what I expected for the price. The pool was green but the landscaping was well maintained. We were within easy driving distance to the trolley which we took to the historic district.We enjoyed fixing some of our meals in the complete kichen. The TV's were flat screen. The condo worked great for what we needed, four adults two competing in the Bone Island triathlons. The rooms could have been cleaner, the window frames were dirty when I opened them up. I found a hair tie under the dust ruffle, so it was not well vacuumed. The kitchen and the bathrooms were fine. "Spacious but not maintained"
We recently stayed for an overnight visit to Key West. We were traveling with another couple and decided to seek a two bedroom suite. The location was away from the downtown area but a quick 5 minute drive. The first impression of the property was that it was in a nice area, even the outside of the building looked nice. It didn't take long to realize […] that the inside of the property was poorly maintained. Walls were painted with different paints, baseboards were not cleaned, kitchen microwave and stove were greasy. The furniture was so old and outdated that we even hated to sit on it. No one at desk after 7 PM to assist with problems. At 2 AM when the floor around the toilet was wet - no one to assit with the problem. Reported it the next morning- they sent someone in to repair- he left the garbage all over plus the dirty towels he used to dry the area. No one around at 9:30 PM when all four room keys did not open our suite door […] and both emergengcy numbers said to call back between business hours of 7 to 7. We booked this trip the day before and were happy to find something in our budget, it was the cheapest price out of all the hotels available for that weekend. The only thing it was a bit far from attractions so we had to drive out to downtown, etc everytime...no shuttle service. The rooms were a good size 2 rooms 2 bathrooms all items needed in bathroom and kitchen. We slept 6 comfortably. Location was great! More than I expected for the price. Hotel was not easy to find. Suit was nice had two good size bedrooms with own bathrooms. kitchen and Livingroom was nice too. Had a balcony with table and chairs. Bed was very bad hard, you can hear all your neighbors! the pool was full so we never got to use it. There was a fight outside of room that woke us all up! "Pet lovers rejoice, this is your vacation place"
I was a little surprised that the hotel surroundings and inside our room was not nicer and more modern. I expected more for the money we paid. The fountain area needed to be cleaned, it is a very nice focal point, but couldn't enjoy it due to the dirtiness of it. However, being able to take your pet makes a huge difference and would bring any animal […] lover back. The bedrooms were a nice size and the beds are very comfortable. It is nice to have a full kitchen with a full sized refrigerator. We loved the balcony. It was absolutely wonderful to have 2 full bathrooms! We enjoyed the local restaurants. A & B Lobster House is a divine dream to eat at, fantastic food. It's pricey and you probably want to dress a little nicer than casual but it's worth it! We will definitely recommend this hotel to others. We enjoyed our stay and felt very comfortable. We had no security issues, no parking issues and the staff was helpful. I enjoyed my stay since everything was clean and comfortable, even the swimming pool and surrounding areas. The most important thing to me ia that it was quiet, I'm a nurse and love my quiet time. Thank you.Recensioni obiettive Hotels.com
