"Very surprised."
Most of the motels were booked in Richfield, So I had no choice but to book a room in Salina. I was very worried about it being a one star. I was very suprised, the room was very clean, and comfortable should have been rated closer to a two and a half star. We basically just used the hotel as a place to sleep for one night. The frustration was when we came back at 11 o'clock at night, with our very tired young kids and baby, and our key cards wouldn't work. my husband had to leave me and the kids outside our room, with some questionable people nearby, to go get our key cards fixed so we could get in.
"Salina Hills hotel the best"
We stayed at the Salina Hills hotel on a 2 week cross country trip August 2012 that included staying at a 4 star resort and multiple single night stays as we traveled. "Best Value for $"
We were very pleased with the quality of the room and the comfort of the bed and greatly enjoyed the recliner as I am an early riser and like to have my coffee sitting up in a comfortable chair while my husband sleeps. We will plan on staying her again when we travel thru Utah to Colorado to visit our grandchildren.

"Salina scenic hills area hotel"
My husband and I were traveling cross country on separate motor cycles and were ready for hot showers and an air conditioned room out of the heat. Reservation was so easy and when we arrived we were greeted with a smile and very helpful attendant Tonya. Nice hotel near the interstate. The bed was very comfortable and everything was clean and new. The hostess was very friendly and nice. An unexpected bonus was the hot waffles for breakfast!
"Sweet stay in Salina"
I ran a B & B in St. George Utah for a few years and was constantly hovering over the staff to keep our rooms spotless and pure. This wonderful room we spent one night in (wish I stayed a week) passed the test. It was wonderful. I loved the recliner in the room. I have some medical issues that make staying in any bed the whole night through very tough. […] It was perfect. The staff was amazing, in kindness and helpfulness. We will become regulars. "Better than expected"
The pictures don't do the rooms justice. The rooms were very clean, linens and bed were better than I'd hoped for and the service was good. It is all relative -- this is a lower-end motel in Salina but for the price and location, it was just right.
