Hotel bellissimo le camere studio sono con la zona notte soppalcata, mentre sotto ai la zona giorno e il bagno, molto romantiche e arredate in stile moderno. Adatto alle coppie che vogliono passare un soggiorno romantico. Molto pulito, il cibo non l'abbiamo provato perchè avevamo solo il pernottamento. Per andare in centro o nella zona musei occorre […] prendere il tram ma in 7/10 min non di più si arriva in qualsiasi posto, la fermata è vicinissima all'hotel, una è proprio di fronte. "Problemi tecnici"
Hotel molto grazioso e dotato di parcheggio. La decorazione moderna e la cura deglio "orpelli" portroppo non puo' sopperire alla scarsa regolarità nella fornitura dell'acqua calda dovuta a volta da problemi di pressione ed a volta dalla troppo bassa temperatura. In talune camere, in particolare quelle ai piani più alti il riscaldamento delle stesse […] si è rilevato non sufficiente. Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile e, per rimediare ai problemi avuti durante la sosta non ci ha fatto pagare il parcheggio dell'auto (100€ Per 4 giorni). "Amazing Stay"
Husband and I were amazed at the hotel decor upon walking into the hotel. Front desk was friendly and told us that we were upgraded to a studio room because they were overbooked. Room was AMAZING; very spacious and simple yet had the contemporary feel. My other friends called us and wanted to see how different our rooms were (they were also upgraded). We decided that we wanted a Christmas with a difference so we decided upon Amsterdam; a place we had both visited before and one that we thought would deliver everything we wanted. The Hotel Arena was a lovely hotel, located far close enough to the city centre but far enough to enjoy a quiet stay. Upon arriving, I was very happy with the hotel, staff […] very friendly and willing to help. However, the air-con in our room wasn't working and neither were the lights.....the staff moved us rooms no problems to a better room. The room was never cleaned and we had to request for this to happen. When if was cleaned, this consisted of pulling the sheets up!! "Best for Couples"
I did enjoy the stay at the Hotel Arena. The location was outside of the City Center, but transportation there was convenient (trams and Metro close). There were plenty of restaurants and grocery stores nearby and within walking distance. Some other random comments as you make your hotel decision: 1. I had booked a suite, but was given a standard room […] at first. The front desk staff fixed this issue immediately and told me that Expedia had given them the wrong information. (My advice: Bring your booking/reservation materials!) 2. I used the Connexion Shuttle Service to the Hotel and it was easy and convenient. I would recommend this. 3. The room had a distinctive odor to it when we arrived (sewer gas smell). I chose not to bring this to the attention of the hotel staff. It got better as we used the room over the four days. 4. You can purchase public transportation tickets (24, 48, or 72 hour passes) from the front desk. 5. I thought the breakfast buffet was large with eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, breads, meat, cheeses, juices, and danish. It was all delicious. 6. The pictures make the hotel look a bit nicer than it actual was. They did seem to be working a lot (i.e. painting) on the structure. 7. It was nice having the restaurant and bar onsite. Ate dinner at the hotel one night and it was very good. 8. The heat did not seem to be working in the room. The Manager looked at it twice and did bring us an electric heater. 9. "Convenient location and super friendly service."
The Hotel Arena is located a convenient 2 blocks or so from the 9 which goes to the central train station and the downtown tourist areas. The rooms are stylish and well appointed and the staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was a comfortable one. The only minor issue I could see a guest having is that the rooms aren't particularly well […] soundproofed. You might want to ask for a corner room or one at the end of a hallway. It was a very spacious room and the hotel was situated in a lovely part of Amsterdam. The easiest way to get there is to take the number 9 tram and walk down to the hotel from Plantage Laan. The hotel is situated near Ooster Park, which is lovely and an Albert Heijn (supermarket) in Sarphati straat for when you want to have a picnic. The hotel was gorgeous and the room was unusual, it was a really great stay . The only negative point was that the breakfast was not included and too expensive 18eur. ( we didn t took it) . I recommend this hotel, espacially for couple, it s a romantic place.Recensioni obiettive Hotels.com

"Hotel arena very convivial stay"

Hotel staff upon arrival were most helpful. As we arrived on a Friday, they offered to put us on the guestlist for the club. Ask reception if you need a taxi rather than waiting outside the hotel, they will get you one in less than 5 minutes. We loved our stay at Hotel Arena. It was Funky Fresh and Friendly. Our room which was the basic option was really cool and very comfortable... was very sad to leave the huge bed behind! the food, although a little pricy was very tasty. The Hotel Arena in Amsterdam is set on the out skirts of Amsterdam's hustle and bustle, but very accessible via the tram system, one outside the hotel to the entertainment district (clubs & restaurants) and one approx 500m to Dam Square. Reading several reviews expressed this prior to booking which attracted me to the Hotel, being quiet, It is also […] walking distance to the centre if you don't mind negotiating the minefield of cyclist! Although the deluxe room we booked was nice, the split level bedroom was a little awkward climbing very steep stairs. The hotel staff were extremely pleasant and helpful.
