Residenza Frattina Roma

We loved all things "Frattina" except two minors.., The shower in our room was quite small and there is no elevator. The hotel is on the second floor so we had to drag our luggage up the flights of stairs but only once and then we were fine. The good news is that the staircase was not steep and made for easy climbling.....a gentle slope with wide steps […] helped. The staff was wonderful and we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast each morning in a beautiful european sitting room. My advise is to make sure your air conditioner works. Ours started leaking on top of the TV below it but had they had it fixed in 48 hours. Shower had no room to lean over to be able to wash your feet. Toilet was in a cramped space between the wall and the shower stall. For someone who is 6 feet tall and 200lbs it was a tight space. Otherwise, the […] hotel staff was SUPERB and made all the difference in our stay and made it all more bearable. Further, their bar features splits of Chianti for 6 Euros and 750ml bottles of Merlot for 10 Euros which made it even more amenable. For those who want to be in the middle of tourism and shopping central, the location is great... right on a major fancy shopping street. But this means lots of street noise during the day, though quiet once the stores closed. We found a few good restaurants very close by. The hotel is in an old (18th century?) building with no elevator...reception is […] two flights up, and the rooms are on several floors above, so if stairs are a problem, this is not for you. Very nice and helpful staff, most of whom could manage English pretty well. My husband got sick and they were helpful about finding a doctor and locating a 24 hr pharmacy. We spent more time than expected in the room, and wished there had been some English language cable tv stations... but normally that wouldn't have been a problem for us. Nice breakfast every day; a fridge in the room with complimentary drinks, but definitely not cold. I wouldn't stay here again, but that's because we really like to have two rooms when we travel, and fancy shopping isn't our highest priority. This was my 2nd stay. Charming hotel in an awesome, very convenient location. Sits between the Spanish Steps and via del Corso. Within minutes walk of most top sites. In center of great shopping too! Very helpful, friendly staff. No elevators so be prepared to carry your luggage up several flights of stairs.

B and B très accueillant et propre, très bien placé au coeur de Rome tout près de la Trinité des Monts dans une rue piétonne assez calme sans être isolée. Personnel sympatique, souriant et serviable. Décoration plus typique que dans un hôtel qui ajoute au charme de cet endroit. Séjour très agréable.

Het is een klein en intiem hotel. Bij aankomst vroegen we ons even af of we goed zaten want de ingang zit verscholen achter een hek. Toen we bovenkwamen troffen we het hotel aan. De receptionist en de dame die het ontbijt verzorgen zijn zeer vriendelijk en gastvrij. Toen wij er waren was er een hittegolf en de minibar was vrij. Daarbij konden we zoveel […] drinken en taart krijgen als we wlden de hele dag door voor niets Schone kamers met heerlijke bedden en goede airco. Het hotel ligt in een van de chiqueste gedeeltes van rome ong. 2 a 3 minuten van de Spaanse Trappen verwijderd. Als wij nog eens Rome gaan (gaat zeker gebeuren)f dan gaan wij terug naar dit hotel. Det var den sämsta hotellupplevelse min fru och jag haft. Lövtunna väggar så att man inte kunde sova en sekund.
