Ottimo hotel, camera spaziosa e comoda e ben tenuto. La gestione dell'hotel è eccellenyte e la cordialità del personale è massima. I costi del ristorante sono invece eccessivi per quanto offre

Cinque minuti a piedi dalla stazione. Davvero molto comodo. Camere silenziose e un ottimo prezzo calcolando la media prezzi della città. Consigliato se vi trovate a passare da Basilea.

Hotel senza particolari pretese gode di un'ottima posizione che lo rende comodo per chi è di passaggio o per chi deve muoversi tra Svizzera , Germania e Francia. Camera doppia spaziosa , decorosa nell'arredo seppur basilare, con letti comodi e bagno ordinato. Colazione assolutamente anonima.

Nel cuore di Basilea e nei pressi dell'aeroporto, Dorint An der Messe Basel si trova nelle vicinanze dei seguenti luoghi di interesse: Messeturm Basel, Centro congressi Basilea e Municipio di Basilea. Nella stessa area sono inoltre presenti: Basler Munster e Museo storico di Basilea.

"Hotel Dorint a Basilea"
Siamo stati all'hotel Dorint per un breve tappa vacanze a Basilea. L'hotel è elegante, forse un po' freddo nello stile (è più da businessman). Le camere sono essenziali, comode e pulite. Il personale molto cortese. Purtroppo ogni cosa è un extra... la colazione, il parcheggio, ... per cui si fa in fretta a spendere tanto. L'hotel è in una zona un po' […] fuori dal centro, però al momento dell'arrivo vi viene consegnata una carta per utilizzare i mezzi pubblici, che sono molto efficienti e vi portano praticamente in tutte le parti della città. "Albergo buono"
Albergo buono, personale efficiente, colazione cara ma buona. Unico difetto, comune a tutta la Svizzera bloccano la carta di credito data in garanzia per eventuali extra per molti giorni dopo la fine del soggiorno. Mi sembra un atteggiamento estremamente scorretto.
"Dorint Hotel"
Ideale ad un rapporto qualità-costo sicuramente interessante. Comodo in zona delle fiere per eventi di questo tipo, servizi pubblici abbastanza facili da raggiungere e vicini. Un pò costosa la colazione ma molto ben fornita. Pulizia ineccepibile.

"Very close to the downtown of Basel"
Good hotel with good price. Is just 8 or 10 minutes away from downtown Basel, with the tram 14, and from the bahnhof Basel you can be there in about 15 minutes with the bus 30.

"Decent hotel,but the staff isn't professional"
Our stay at The Dorint Basel Hotel was okay. The room was always clean and tidy and the bathroom was fine. Some of the reception clerks lacked knowledge of the area and couldn't help us with questions concerning restaurants and duty-free tax return information about purchases.... The internet conncetion in the lobby was very, very slow and problematic. […] This also marred our stay somewhat. I asked the reception staff to order me a taxi at 3:40 a.m. on the morning of our departure from Switzerland. The worst thing was when the taxi driver arrived, and I asked him to take us to The Swiss Sector of the Basel, Mulhouse International Airport, he took us to The Banhoff SS train stration instead! He did this on purpose to make more money on the fare! I paid 61 Swiss francs instead of around 35 Swiss Francs. I had specifically asked the hotel staff to instruct the driver to take us to the airport. Besides, what kind of a taxi driver would take us to a CLOSED train station at 3:50 a.m.!!! "Hotel Dorint - close to Messe"
The hotel is close to the Messe which is nice if you are there for events. It is within walking distance - the old town is further but still walkable on a nice day. Close to public transportation which is nice and it has underground parking.
"Good value hotel"
Hotel Dorint is a very good value. The hotel is very attractive, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The location was a bit inconvenient, but it was easy to catch a street car to the main sites. The street car had frequent run schedules.
The hotel was really nice and clean. Compared to the general prices in Basel, i would say it´s a bargain. It´s located in the business area, but that´s not a problem, because they give you for free a tram ticket to get to the city center (5 minutes) I definitively recomend it !
"Basel basics"
Like most of the hotels I've stayed at in Basel, this one offers the basics and nothing more. My queen bed was uncomfortable and had two ridiculously small duvets on it; my 'non-smoking' room smelled of cheap air freshener, which didn't succeed in disguising the smell of smoke from the previous occupant. Rooms on the street side are noisy; wardrobes […] in all rooms are tiny and there's a charge for in-room wifi. Oh, and there's a power socket beside the door which is probably useful for housekeeping staff but not so good for hotel guests as it's too far from the mirror. Continua a leggere

"Convenient to tram; beautiful hotel; great service"
While the hotel wasn't as convenient as some other locations, it was well-worth the short tram ride to all sights. New, in a safe location with beautiful rooms. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly.

"Room cleaning needs to move along faster"
Everything was fine here - close to bus and airport and city, clean, professional, neat arrangement - however it takes room cleaning a long time to get to clean the room. I passsed up cleaning the first day as I was tied after conference late afternoon. the second day they also did not get to clean it till after 3:30 PM. "Good location"
Easy to check-in and free mobility passes for our entire stay in Basel.
Convenient to trams. Although the AC in the room did not work and there was no mini-bar. Otherwise, the staff was pleasant, and the room was clean.
Great hotel in Basel a short bus ride to city center.. with free daily bus pass.. very clean, modern, flat screen TV.. underground parking for 20 CHF

went for honeymoon and had the best experions friendlt staff bus stop and tram a block away very central to everything great location wonderfull rooms excelent hotel will stay again rooms are big and hotel provides a free bus and tram pass for your hole stay so you also save money on transportation

Great location, only 2 minutes to tram stop. The Hotel provided us with free tram tickets for unlimited tram rides throughout the city for our two day stay.
"OK hotel; location stinks"
The Dorint was OK. It was a bit off the beaten path. DO NOT spend the 23 francs for the breakfast. It's better just to do without or hit a cafe nearby. Rooms are small, even by European standards, but they are clean and comfortable. Good hotel bar with a nice bartender.

"Smart and clean"
I stayed there just for one day and I enjoyed myself a lot. The receptionists were very helpful, information on events in Basel were ready available and I even got a free bus/tram ticket for 2 days. Breakfast was delicious and fresh. The only disadvantage was c. 20 min distance from the city centre. Otherwise strongly recommened.

"Great Hotel"
The hotel was close to were I needed to be for work the next day which is why I choose this hotel. It was very nice and clean hotel, with easy access to the trams and bus lines. They also provided a pass for free use of the trams and bus lines, which was unexpected and worked out great. The only downside was they did not provide a free breakfast which […] some hotels offer which is a $23 difference. "Gutes Hotel mit Geräuschkulisse"
Als wir in Basel waren, waren viele Veranstaltungen (Basel Indoors, Körperwelten, Weinmesse, Jahrmarkt...). Zur Messe ist das Hotel sehr nah gelegen, das Personal ist sehr nett. Die Zimmer sind gut. Leider war es auf der Strasse recht laut, so dass ich den Eindruck hatte, dass das Fenster noch offen wäre (5. Stock, die Fenster liessen sich nicht öffnen). Beim […] Frühstück war auch allerhand los, so dass sich gerade ein Platz für uns 2 fand. Eventuell ist es in diesem Hotel besser, wenn nicht ganz soviel los ist. Continua a leggere

am 31.12.2011 wurden wir um 0100 Uhr an der Bar nicht mehr bedient!!!! obschon die Rezeption bedient war.

"Ab dem Hotel Dorint Basel ist man schnell überall"
Das Hotel Dorint in Basel ist unweit des Bahnhofs und des Stadtzentrums entfernt. Es liegt in der Nähe von Bus und Tramstationen.. An der Reception erwartete uns sehr freundliches Personal. Das Doppel Zimmer war geräumig, auch mit 3 Personen drin. Alles war sauber und das Bad wie neu. Der Weckdienst um 0400h morgens klappte, das Taxi zum Flughafen wurde […] auch richtig bestellt. "Hotel Dorint an der Messe - Basel"
Das Hotel hat ein angenehmes Ambiente. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer was gut ausgestattet. Leider war kein kleiner Kühlschrank im Zimmer. Die Fenster kann man nur kippen, nicht ganz aufmachen. Sehr Zufrieden - kann man gut und gerne Weiterempfehlen!

This is a clean hotel in a central location. It is easy accessed both via bus and tram. We were very pleased with the nice staff and helpful staff working here. As said it is a very well looked after hotel, fresh and clean in all locations. The one thing to keep in mind maybe is to ask for a room that is not facing the road towards the "front of the […] hotel". We had a room facing the road, and the road is pretty busy in the night. And if you want to keep the window open for air during the night, it is quite noisy. However if you pick a room facing the garden on the backside of the hotel, you wouldn't notice the traffic at all.
